I had a FANTASTIC experience w/Michael at Action Junk Removal. First off, I had a job that needed to be done, and needed to get started yesterday! When I first called Michael, and asked him to come out for an estimate, he made time in his schedule to come out and take a look EARLY in the morning (7 am) just to accommodate my request to have the estimate & get the work done ASAP. I called NOVA Junk Removal and asked them when they could come out to give an estimate and they told me that they couldn't come and even take a look for over a week. So almost immediately NOVA was out, and Action was lookin' good. He came out for the estimate and we went through the entire property as I explained what I wanted moved, what I wanted to keep. As we walked through, he identified a few things that he could do to assist in keeping the costs down (Another plus that you don't find everywhere). I could tell that he was very knowledgeable in his field, and he gave me a fair & honest price for the work that was to be done. As far as the actual work was concerned, he and his team did an excellent job. Everyone was pretty friendly and courteous. Michael and his team were fantastic. It was easy to book them and they were very thorough in the pre-booking discussion about the nature of the job. Didn't even wince when I mentioned there were stairs involved. I work at a small theater, and I had them come to clear away a year's worth of theater debris (set pieces, flats, doors, windows, and wood/construction scraps). All the remnants of shows gone by. We initially agreed that it was roughly two truck's worth of stuff - I even emailed them a picture to give a better idea. What took me two days to gather and put in one place, they cleared in less than 3 hours. The team of four started work around 9:45am and were done by lunch. All of the men were very polite, very respectful and very efficient (in spite of the stairs!). AND they got everything to fit into ONE truck by means of some insane tetris-style stacking. Which saved me money on the initial estimate we had predicted. And Michael was super understanding when I went to use the theater company card and ran into some snags (couldn't remember which zip code was tied to the card) and we couldn't process it right away. I needed a large amount of pretty gross trash hauled out of the yard of a vacant building adjacent to my two-flat, and these guys made it seem like no big deal even though the gate was nailed shut and they had lift some of the trash over a 6 foot fence.
