District donations. His name is a bit of a misnomer. It turns out they also serve as a moving company. They responded to my Yelp request really quickly and when I was confused about their services, they just called. That call clarified that they do in fact, provide moving services. I needed a very last-minute move for a small amount of furniture. They responded quickly, showed up early and were incredibly fast and efficient. Their movers were incredibly careful and left absolutely no damage of any kind. All my belongings, doors and walls were in pristine condition. Their rate was reasonable and compared to other companies that provided quotes they were generally the more affordable option. I was really happy with their service and would recommend them. read more

I needed a fridge removed from the garage. A quote was obtained after a phone call for $139 and availability seemed as soon as the next day if contacted in the early afternoon, otherwise probably the day after. Most of my communication was through text, which is what I prefer. I arranged for a Sunday morning pick up since most of my family wanted to go on a trip. My parents stayed behind to assist if needed. From what I was told, everything went smoothly. They were very flexible, but probably since it was one item. Texting also occurred later in the night, around 2100 which I didn't anticipate so I didn't see some of this messages. It didn't alter anything so it wasn't an issue for me, but something to keep in mind if you are waiting for a message, it may come later than you'd expect. I wanted to give this 5/5, but I want to reserve that rating for when everything is perfect and exceeds my expectations. So if you read this far down, do not be deterred the 4/5. read more

Have used them twice and they're very reliable and efficient. Super easy to work with.

I am going to use these folks again! They quoted me a flat fee ($225) to carry a treadmill, foosball table, and exercise bike up from the basement and to bring a refrigerator back down. Not only was this one heck of a deal for me, the equipment was moved carefully and without any collateral damage. I don't know how these guys stayed so cheerful while lifting heavy things. They also were flexible with the time and arrived when they said they would. Yeah, they're on my short list. Thank you for recommending them, Yelp. read more

Just as others have written, District Donations was quick and super responsive. I requested a quote very late Saturday night, and they were able to send someone out the next morning as I requested. Very reasonable flat rate. But most of all they were friendly and were easy to communicate with. 100% recommend them, and while I only had a window AC to dispose of this time, I will definitely use them for future junk removal! read more

Clear communication and no surprises at pick up, would highly recommend. Prompt responses and fair pricing as well.

I requested quote, got a call 10 min later , and wishing the hour he was here and stuff all picked up. Thank you for being so fast! Picked up five larger bags containing furniture parts and junk that we just needed out of our garage and that may not have been hauled off my by regular trash. Worth it to just get it done and over with. Great value! read more

The guys who showed up were very professional and polite. They did a great job and worked quickly. The value for the money was incredible. The only problem was that they were an hour and a half later than the time they said they would arrive. It was an inconvenience but they did give me a discount because they were so late. Aside from the fact that they were late they were excellent. I would use them again as the value was very good. read more

Lowest cost. Good communication. One of the drivers was late so I just helped the other guy move my sectional. Wasn't a big deal.
