Fast! Great customer service and more importantly reliable! I've used this company several times and they've made my life that much easier. I had a party and they came and took all The junk and trash I needed out. Whenever I have junk that J want removed, they are my go to! Great job guys! read more

The former owner of my house didn't maintain the deck so I knew eventually I was going to have to get ot replaced or torn down. That day came when the top stair broke halfway when my husband was walking down. I went to Yelp and saw All Purpose Clean Up. Donald, the owner, responded quickly to my request. He came out and gave me a quote and it was slightly less than the other quote I got so I went with him. I got a text before the scheduled date to confirm the appointment. He showed up on time and he removed the deck with the help of 2 guys. They worked fast and he sent 2 guys with a truck to come collect all the wood the next day. It was nice supporting a Black business and getting more than I was expecting. I will definitely use this company again if the need arises. read more

I needed to have junk removed ASAP. The team at All Purpose Clean Up was the quickest to respond to my request, provided the best availability, and the best price. They hauled away my unwanted items, quick and clean. I would definitely use All Purpose Clean Up's services in the future. read more

UPDATED REVIEW (4 STARS) - after a long discussion with the owner, who very politely asked questions and listened to my concerns, he offered to reimburse me. I will pass this along to my client. One more star! However, I cannot change to a 5 star review, for while this was very classy, it did not give me back my time, frustrations, or delicate diplomacy with my client. Hopefully the owner will address the problems I mentioned below. (The workers really did work hard, they just need to be better trained, have the correct equipment/tools for the job, and be sent in teams of 2 or 3 for a deep clean and also for an unknown/non-regular client!) ORIGINAL REVIEW (3 STARS): I wish I could give more stars to this company, especially since the 2 workers who came (1 at a time, 5 days apart, unfortunately!) were polite and worked really hard. However, the scheduling and coordination and communication were very problematic, costing me a lot of time and making me reshuffle the project schedule. Furthermore, a "Deep Clean" should include fireplace and walls, neither of which were touched by the cleaners. I also was led to expect a 2 or 3 person crew, who could have finished the house in 4 hours or so, but instead had only 1 person at a time, 4 hours, and then after much waiting, the next person came for 5 hours. I have a client to answer to, and there were contractors and others who were waiting on the cleaning. The owners need to be more communicative and responsive with the customers, and more organized (and safe!) to send out a team of at least 2 people. I would consider using them for regular cleaning, but the deep clean left a lot to be desired. There is definitely room for improvement. read more

Lela and her team were extremely responsive and the cleaning services received were amazing. In addition to coordinating the service dates Lela   completed the services as well. She absolutely paid attention to detail. I was in a bind looking for a service provider that operated on Sundays within a certain window of time, and they were able to meet the requirement and did an excellent job. I used them for air bnb cleaning services. So they completed thorough home cleaning, washed linens and made the beds in preparation for the next renters. My renters and I were all pleased with each appointment. I highly recommend All Purpose Clean Up as I will be sure to continue to use them moving forward. read more

Again All Purpose Cleanup came through and really helped me out tremendously with a major haul. Great price and very quick service. They were in and out before I knew it. Highly recommend! read more

Quick, easy, and affordable! The team was very responsive and polite. Will use their services again!

I'm in the process of beginning home renovations, but there was junk everywhere. I came to Yelp for help with the junk removal process and came across this company. I requested a quote and the owner Donald got back in touch with me within a few minutes. He came out and gave me an estimate, and two days later his crew came out and removed everything!!! The young men were courteous and professional, and I am extremely pleased with the work they did. read more

Awesome service! I have used this company for cleaning services and junk removal and both times they were fantastic! Services are fairly priced, service is quick, and great communication! I would definitely recommend this company! read more

I rarely take time out to rate companies.....but I feel this review is absolutely necessary. I used All Purpose Clean Up on March 4, 2021 to haul away a sleep sofa from one of my upstairs bedroom. They arrived before my scheduled time which made me extremely happy. The individuals from this company were Courteous and Professional from my initial call with Lela, and even more so when Donald the owner and his team arrived at my residence. I would highly recommend this company, and if I'm in need of haul away service in the future I will differently contact them. Donald & Team I Thank You So Much Keep Up The Good Work! read more

I've worked with Donald on two separate projects and both times he has been nothing short of PHENOMENAL! Prior to working with Donald and All Purpose Clean Up, I had a "go to" Junk Removal & Hauling company, but lately, they've been too busy to handle any jobs I've had. But Donald has been extremely flexible and even came same day on one occasion. Donald and his staff are very respectful, helpful and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. I'm sure I'll be calling on Donald and All Purpose Clean Up again in the future! read more

This organization is 6 stars if I could give it. I had a unexpected move out deep clean at my rental property and these folks came through big. Penciled me in the scheduled and showed up and finished the job while I had 3 other contractors present working on odds and ends. They were packing up right as the new tenant was walking in. I was completely amazed by the quality of work on my 2 story townhome. Highly recommended and I will use for every tenant turn around moving forward. read more

The owners reached out to me after my initial review and offered to make things right. We are going to give it a go because they acknowledged a significant breakdown in communication but expressed a sincere desire to rectify that breakdown. What more can I ask for!??!?! Stay tuned for the "after act report"! read more

Don and his team at All Purpose Clean Up are the best that you're going to get in this area. I can promise you.. Punctual, courteous, specialized, efficient, and professional. Don came to my house to give me a quote, looked at the mess downstairs, and nodded his head "I'll take care of it". From that moment on, I knew I was in good hands. I'm talking about years and piles of basement crap here, no small job. Don and his team came on a Saturday morning, ahead of schedule! As soon as they pulled up they assessed, he delegated the work and got to work himself. They were hauling huge pieces of furniture, filling and hauling contractor bags, even a huge rug out the door. I'm pregnant so I couldn't go down much, but something inside of me told me that things were getting handled properly and they were. Anything that he suspected that wasn't trash he'd ask me. I mean, there was a lot of care taken in this situation and I really appreciated that. After about 4 hours of hauling and cleaning, they swept up the dirt and I was left with a brand new basement that I can remodel into a play room for my baby. I couldn't have asked for a better relief. Also for the price, you just can't beat it. Don and his team are wonderful and I can't wait to work with they again. read more

From start to finish, Donald was very personable, courteous, and PUNCTUAL! As a matter of fact, he was 30 minutes early and called to say he was in route. My furniture was bulky and heavy, but Donald had a great sense humor about it and quick comebacks for my snarky remarks. He and his assistant worked quickly. They were in and out in less than an hour. I definitely, recommend Donald and All Purpose Clean Up. Excellent customer service, communication, and straight forward pricing. read more

I hired All Purpose Clean Up for a general cleaning of my townhome and it was the best decision ever. They arrived on time and cleaned my home thoroughly. In addition, their rates are very reasonable and it saved me from cleaning on this beautiful weekend. My daughter's room was the worse and I was amazed at how tidy it was afterwards. It did not look like the same room at all. Their rates are so reasonable and did such an awesome job that I'm taking advantage of their recurring services. If you're looking for a cleaning service, this is definitely the best option. read more

Lela and Donald are responsive, professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. They removed a mountain of abandoned property under difficult circumstances on a same-day weekend request. It doesn't get any better than that. I was extremely pleased with their top-notch service, clear invoicing, payment options, and positive can-do attitude. read more

Donald is an excellent communicator & is super prompt in responses! He gets the job done really well, fast, professionally, and efficiently ASAP. This is literally the CHEAPEST price and BEST couch disposal service you can find (ESPECIALLY last minute.) They removed the two large couches swiftly in 10 minutes. Couldn't have been more thankful for their service especially when they came to my DC apartment within a day's notice. read more

Highly recommend using all purpose clean up. They were fast, friendly and at a great price. I could not have had a better experience. You would be foolish to go with anyone else! 10/10. read more

Punctual. Professional. Reasonable. They made the junk removal quick and easy. I would definitely use them again.

This team did a great job on my two story condo! The prices are reasonable, the services are thorough, and the management team is very fair. The only negative I'll say is be sure to answer the day of confirmation text as well as all the other, automated confirmation emails and texts. I can hardly be mad about the team being too communicative. All in all a great experience read more

I read the yelp reviews and decided to hire this company to haul away my junk. The owner was very accommodating and professional. His price was reasonable, he was on time and they worked very quickly. He did such a great job with the first pick up, I decided to use him a second time. Give him a call, you won't be disappointed. read more

Very responsive and did a fantastic job. The attention to details was very good. Within 10 minutes of me reaching out for a quote, Lela gave me a call and answered all of my questions. I was able to get right on their schedule and she worked with what times I needed and not the other way around. I am beyond happy with the work they did for our home. So much so that I scheduled a weekly cleaning that same day. Thank you so much Lela and Wendy! read more

Lela and her team are AMAZING I hired them to clean our office and they did such a great job we have them to come every week now. The transformation of the office is unbelievable. read more

I had some older home theater equipment that I had meant to sell on ebay, but they were heavy, used outdated tech, and gathering dust. Normally I would've brought them to an electronics recycling location like Best Buy, but the Plasma TV weighed like 150 pounds and the size (50") made it really unwieldy for one person to move around. Finally I said enough and decided to just have someone haul them away along with a queen-sized mattress and some other stuff. I looked around on the internet and found these guys. I liked the kind of prices people were talking about - $85 minimum, maybe $150 for several items, vs some of the more pricier trash removal places: I didn't want to pay $400 to have some stuff hauled away. I called and Donald answered the phone right away. I told him what I had and where I was and his response was "OK, I'm in route." I thought I had misheard him! But yes, he said he could be here in a few hours. He and his group (three guys total) showed up on time. They were friendly and polite. They moved those things out of my apartment in to their truck in like 20 minutes! Total charge: $150. I added a nice tip and that was that. Great experience, 10/10 would use again. read more

Lela and Wendy are awesome! They clean up every Conor I can say soooo carefully. The apt even smells like a fresh one once done. Will definitely be an loyal customer. Great service plus very professional and nice people. read more

We used Donald and his crew to empty out our parents old house in DC. We couldn't be happier with the experience. Donald was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. We reached out to many companies for quotes via Yelp. Many were able to give us quotes without an in person visit. But I was worried I couldn't communicate how much stuff we had in the house, so I wanted to make sure I got at least a couple of in person estimates as well. I am glad we did. Donald saw everything in person and gave us a very competitive number. His was the largest truck (24-foot), which made me comfortable, in that I knew everything would fit in one go around. So we went with All Purpose. On the scheduled day, we had a snafu with our parking permits, so we had to push back a day. Thankfully, Donald also had something switch up last minute. We were impressed with his flexibility and again how responsive he was. The next day, Donald showed up on time with a crew of three others. They tackled the attic, two floors, and a basement quickly with no problems. They found creative solutions to get out large items that couldn't fit through doors. They made sure we had everything we wanted out. This was a large project and All Purpose really helped the situation be as stress free as possible. We would recommend them to anyone looking for junk hailing and trash removal. 5 stars! read more

I've hired All Purpose Clean Up twice to help haul old furniture out of my home. On both occasions Donald and his team arrived timely and worked very quickly to complete the task at hand. My home has lots of stairs and narrow stairways, but All Purpose is highly skilled in handling large items and navigated these challenges with ease. During my appointment I requested more items be hauled away than originally quoted and All Purpose was able to accommodate the extended scope without any problems, which I truly appreciated. Best of all, The excellent service was complimented with fair pricing. I have recommended All Purpose to family and friends and would use their service in the future. read more

Im am so pleased with the service I recieved today. I contacted all purpose on Friday and they quoted me a price that was so reasonable, actually it was the best price I heard, I ended up canceling with another company and Im glad I did. Im getting a new couch delievered on Monday so Donald being able to come out today was so perfect! I would highly recommend him for all of your hauling needs. And I am most definitely going to be calling him again in the future. So glad I found All Purpose! read more

All I can say is AWESOME service. They have to be the best cleaning service out here. I had a very bad blockage in my bathrooms which led to a plumber having to come out and do work in my bathrooms and of course he left a mess for me to have to think about cleaning afterwards. I just could not get up the strength to clean because it was just too much. Thank God I found All Purpose Clean Up. I'm very particular about my place, so trusting someone else to clean my house is definitely difficult. I'm so glad I gave them a chance and I don't regret it at all. They cleaned all my bathrooms so great that words don't even explain. Please try them out because you will not be disappointed. Great service and great prices!!!!!!!!! read more

I hired All Purpose Clean Up to remove some old furniture from my apartment before moving out. The whole process couldn't have been easier. They were extremely quick to respond to a quote request, were available for an appointment immediately, called me to confirm a couple hours before arriving, and arrived early. They were very friendly and professional, not to mention efficient. They got everything out in 20 minutes. They also charge the lowest rates (by far) of all the local junk removal companies. I would definitely use All Purpose again! read more

My church is in the process of doing a clean-up/spruce-up effort. We are getting rid of old items that are no longer useful. After getting a a few quotes from hauling services, I still wasn't satisfied that we were getting the best bang for the buck. I came across APCU and decided to give them a call. All I can say is...I needed to look NO further. Mr. West promptly and courteously answered my call and discussed the estimate process. He didn't have availability within the working hours of that day, but volunteered to come after hours to assess what needed to be done. I don't know too many companies willing to extend their hours to accommodate providing an estimate, and NOT CHARGE you for that. Mr. West did not charge for that. After consultation with the Pastor, the evening time frame didn't end up working out, and Mr. West was flexible and arranged to meet the Pastor the next morning. Due to unforseen circumstances, the Pastor was unable to make the revised appointment, and the appointment had to be revised once again. The entire time, Mr. West remained understanding, courteous, accommodating, and flexible in his scheduling. Mr. West was finally able to assess the job, and came prepared the day of the estimate appointment to begin the process. He was professional, and FAST!!! In addition, he was very reasonable on pricing. The positive reviews are definitely true. If you want fast, reliable, courteous service and reasonable pricing, you need not look any further than All Purpose Clean Up....They will get the job done for you and right! read more
