Francesca was great -responsive, straightforward, okay with some back and forth to get to a good time and to get the payment done afterwards. If I have anything else I need out of my home, I will come to Junk Removal Specialists first.

We researched places to get junk removal so we could get it done all at once. They quoted us $179 which was really reasonable! They were available within a couple days of contacting, which was great because we were getting our new couch soon! They called at around 9:15 and said they would be at our house in 20 minutes (our original time was 10am, I think). I appreciated that they didn't have us wait around all day for them. When they arrived, they were quick, efficient, and careful with the objects that had to be removed. I put most of it on the old couch and the paint and wood was by the door so they could quickly gather it up. They got everything done in about 15-20 min! I was amazed. We went to pay and they said we would get a call. Someone called moments after and we paid over the phone. We got 10% off with the coupon on their site for being a first time customer, so we paid around $160. Great deal! We will use them again if needed. Also, they try to reuse/recycle as much as possible! Awesome mentality.

We stayed up late the night before getting everything ready. Near the end of the original pickup window, I was notified they were running late and asked to move the pickup to 3:00-5:00 p.m. While frustrating, I understand delays can happen. After waiting through almost the entire second window, they contacted me again and asked to reschedule for the following day. At that point, they were essentially asking me to spend another day waiting for a service that had already been delayed twice. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this company because they were not reliable with their scheduling.

Their movers were incredibly careful and left absolutely no damage of any kind. All my belongings, doors and walls were in pristine condition. Most of my communication was through text, which is what I prefer. I arranged for a Sunday morning pick up since most of my family wanted to go on a trip. My parents stayed behind to assist if needed. From what I was told, everything went smoothly. They were very flexible, but probably since it was one item. Texting also occurred later in the night, around 2100 which I didn't anticipate so I didn't see some of this messages. It didn't alter anything so it wasn't an issue for me, but something to keep in mind if you are waiting for a message, it may come later than you'd expect. I wanted to give this 5/5, but I want to reserve that rating for when everything is perfect and exceeds my expectations. So if you read this far down, do not be deterred the 4/5.
