Another win for the Austin beer scene! The beers are constantly rotating, lots of new stuff coming out constantly. Loved the vibe and decor of this little tap room. These guys, you just have to root for them. I was here one time while in town for vacation. If im back in Austin, im back at Nomadic. Great people with great beer and unsuspecting great food. Peak season is a top tier hazy IPA. Radberry was a great sour that was sweet without being fruit juice. I think it'd satisfy both the tart lovers and Kettle sour seekers. I was saving my appetite for a BBQ heavyweight but after tasting my girlfriend's turkey pesto I totally regret my decision to not get food. The whole thing was a delight. The flavors and texture all come together to deliver one heck of a Sammy. Definitely a destination to stop at! read more

This was a cute place nestled in a corner. I am glad that we stumbled upon this little brewery. We tried a few of the in house beers and really like them all. The place is very open and inviting and lots of seating. It is also dog friendly inside. The seats were wooden and a little uncomfortable and I wish there were a few more beer options, but I will definitely be back another day. read more

I've been to Nomadic twice and left deeply impressed both times. Nomadic is a brewery that understands that you can't just toss 25 mediocre beers at a guest and hope something sticks. Every beer I've tasted has been robust and complex. Also bringing me back is Maria, my bartender at both my visits. Maria remembers her regulars by name (not just me) and it's obvious that she's passionate about the art of brewing beyond reciting memorized specs. She's the consummate and exceptional brewery bartender. Tremendous service and great recommendations by her and the staff. This place is fantastic and never disappoints! I dont really call myself a beer person by any means, however I love their drinks and cannot get enough of them. It seems like they have a new brew on the menu every week or so. Its really easy to follow their IG page for the latest updates. I love the atmosphere of this place (picture clean and industrial). During the current pandemic, the patio is open for seating and bonus points for afternoon shade! This place is fairly small for anyone who is wondering, and their menu has about ten beers on tap usually. I recommend checking them out! read more

Absolutely love this place! I have been coming here since they opened and it's always been a great experience. Great panini sandwiches, great beer, and great environment! This is a very low key/quiet location, so if you are looking for something "hype" this isn't the place for you. But I still highly recommend stopping by for at least a drink. read more

This brewery has a SOLID beer selection. I don't believe I tried anything I didn't like. The owners were also friendly and down to earth. The atmosphere is fantastic and it's a nice little spot to sit and get some work done or chat with friends over drinks. Nomadic is also a coffee shop, which makes it heaven on earth - coffee & beer in one place? Yes, please! The brewery also features fresh flowers on each table, adding a nice little touch. Beer options were great, enjoy the setup. The bartender... she was a bit unwelcoming (brunette). I walked up and mentioned it was my first time there, awkward silence. I was literally the only one in the there, business casual, could've said something in return.. anything. Of note, two ladies walked in later and implied they were new to the place, they were greeted with warm friendly chat & recommendations. Later I was obviously lost looking for the restroom, same lady looked at me and looked away. No, can I help you or it's right over there. As someone who lives in South ATX, I always have to drive up north if I want options for indoor dog friendly breweries. Nomadic is right by Congress and Ben White, which is an awesome location for me. Skull mechanix was my only indoor dog friendly option before (which I also love, but is great to have choices). The guys who own it are great. I love the feel of the place. It's a good size, not huge, but not tiny either. The beers on tap are good. They have a Korean food truck outside of you're hungry. Inside they have games and free dog treats. So glad this place chose this location and allows pups inside with the a/c. read more

We went to Nomadic on a quiet weekday night. There were only about 8 people there, so it was very chill. Our bartender was really great and got us set up with a flight. I really enjoyed the Peach Sour. The menu did seem hop heavy to me, which is not really my thing. I was happy to see that they carried Argus cider. The space was bright and clean. They have board games. The restrooms were nice too. There wasn't a food truck when we were there, so unsure if they serve food when there isn't a truck. A friend later went for coffee and a scone and said it was great! read more

Excellent beer, exceedingly cool and friendly staff. The atmosphere is a little sterile inside, but outside is better. It's kinda fun to watch the local tweakers wandering about, as the neighborhood is still "developing" (to be polite). Nomadic has an excellent variety of ales and IPAs of varying hoppiness, each of which is very well-made and distinct. All that's missing from the tap list is a Pilsner, which is a bit disappointing given the Texas heat. Otherwise, it's a solid, off-the-beaten-path brewery that I highly recommend visiting. read more

Everything we tried was so mind blowing we had to stay! The peak season and south swell beers were some of our favorites. Great location and space but the beer was nothing special or interesting. In a city with a constantly growing craft brew scene, you really need to step up your game when entering the space. The staff working were all very friendly and informative. We loved that we could come inside with our dog on a hot day. The coffee sounded nice but we were not in the mood for it. And we loved that they made a michelada though it was just so-so too. My husband and I said we would both go back for the location and space, it would be great for meeting up with friends. read more

LOVE the Peak Season IPA. This place has a great atmosphere... inside and out. They have spend a lot of time putting this place together and I think they nailed it! The staff is AWESOME! They are very friendly and attentive. Their beer is insanely good and I have yet to find one I don't like. A must stop if you are in SoCo and need a beverage. My sister was in town and introduced us to her friend's brewery. The place is a hidden GEM and has a great vibe. It's intimate and warm. It feels like you are far away from the hustle and bustle of Austin. It's a great relief from Thanksgiving shopping at H‑E‑B an hour ago. Excellent service, excellent beer and can't beat the company. Oh I forgot to mention they have paninis and pretzels. We tried the sweet prosciutto and the rueben. Ask for extra prosciutto. You can't go wrong with any of their beer. After coming to Austin for a trip to my auto detail where I decided to go on a beer excursion. My second stop was Nomadic beerworks. They've only been around for a year and a half but brew the beers like a professional. They were extremely good and the staff knew exactly how to describe them to a discerning palette. I had a stout, golden ale, and red ale and all were phenomenal. I took a 32 ounce crowler to go and will come back anytime I am in town. read more
