Was in the area, so we decided to stop by for a quick drink. To our surprise, They were serving a zilker sour, which was nice and refreshing. Staff was attentive and it was not busy when we went in so that was a plus. They have a pickle ball court available to use and it's fun to watch others play while enjoying your beverage. Both in and outdoor seating avaliable. love the st elmo area!

What is this place? Outdoor and indoor pickleball courts, premium brews, TV's, games AND The Pizza Den on their patio? In baseball it's known as a grand slam. The atmosphere is bougie dive bar, thereby making it one of my home bases in Austin. Shout out to Hannah at the bar for making me feel like family from the jump. Save one of those corduroy Ants hats for me. Big love to Justin @ Pizza Den for the relentless deliciousness.

What a fun spot! Pickleball courts, great patio and TVs inside to watch the games all with a great beer selection! We tried both the knuckle sandwich and the pizza and both were excellent. We loved the elote pizza and the spicy pizza. The original knuckle sandwich is such a great take on an Italian. We loved the parmesan crisp and the soft bread! We will be back! Highly recommend checking it out!

Located in south Austin near St. Elmo's brewery, Ants Beer Cave is a great place to bring your friends to hang. They have 2 pickleball courts, one inside and one outside, basketball game, and pool table. They also have multiple TVs to watch sports game with large projector screen projecting most popular game. My husband and I came to watch Sweet Sixteen. It does cost money to use pickleball courts, though on Thursday nights it is free. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and great for large groups as their tables easily 10-12 people. Dog friendly as well with dogs on the patio. Food wise they have two food trucks, Knuckle sandwich and the Pizza Den. Know that both trucks close by 8 pm even on Saturday so don't trust Yelp saying it closes at 9 pm. Beer wise at least for us it was a limited menu, but my husband enjoyed his hazy IPA. This is a great place to come hang with your friend in large group! Parking is free in front.

This place is fun! Really laid back with two pickleball courts. Plenty of TV's, lots of dogs, friendly bartenders. We stopped in here just walking by after being at St Elmo. It's really clean and I love the concept. We also got a sandwich from Knuckle Sandwich and it was pretty good. The chick pea tots were awesome!!

YA'LL!! check it out - Ant's has over 200 selections of beverages. Excellent wine as well. Food trucks are next level. The mushroom Ruben from knuckle sandwich is mine blowing. Best dish in Austin right now IMHO. Pickle ball and friendly staff to boot. Suggest ride share to the Yard. Fun weekend walkabout

Great service! Indoor Pickle ball for the win. Frozen Mango margaritas are delish. Highly recommend!

One of our regular spots for beer and football. Not only are there 200+ options for beers, but you are guaranteed to have a great interaction with the staff (hey, James!), meet fun people, maybe try a new beer or snack at one of the on site or nearby food trucks (Knuckle Sandwich and Pizza Den are in the courtyard), or play a game (pickleball, big add beer pong, video games, etc). It is super chill and always fun. And teachers get HH prices all day everyday!

I absolutely love this place for so many reasons! First of all, the Pickle Ball having an inside core and an outside court is 1st rate! Plus the FREE open play glow-in-the-dark option on Thursday nights is awesome and a great way to meet people and what's even more amazing is that its different from what anyone else is doing! The staff are amazing (Cole is THE BEST). I've never had anyone be rude to me once...everyone is super chill even the people that go there. Now let's talk about the food! You can't go wrong with the pizza which I've eaten on multiple occasions, or the sandwich sandwiches. I think this might be one of my favorite places in Austin at the moment!! The people that come there are really down to earth as well unlike some other places where people take Pickle Ball a little too seriously! High recommend for making friends, good ambience, cool atmosphere and a very diverse beer and cider selection!!

Such a cute neighborhood spot! Great selection of beer, ciders, THC drinks etc! There's wine and beer on tap as well! The service was great! The cashier offered us recommendations and comments on the drink we purchased. There's a gravel outdoor patio with picnic tables outside and a couple pickleball courts plus a court inside as well. We went for trivia on Monday and it was so fun! There were 5 or so team and it only lasted a little over an hour. The pizza den was the highlight! The pepperoni pizza is currently my favorite in Austin!! Plenty of cheese and pepperoni and not too much sauce. The ranch was yummy too!

This place has cold beer and pickleball courts (indoor/outdoor) what else could you ask for? Big selection of beer on tap and in the coolers! Chill bartenders and good vibes. Couple of TV's, a sandwich food truck (great), and a pizza food truck (still need to try). Go check it out! Plus plenty of other places to hit within walking distance. Great place to spend an afternoon/evening!

However, be wary of attending events here! We've been a couple of times now, both with live music, the latest during SXSW, when its just a shit show. Their parking is a little limited, now they have 2 lots which is usually fine for normal days but it's not nearly enough when they have an event going on. There are people parked on the gravel past the actual parking lot and both times we got to watch someone spin their tires trying to escape a parking spot they really shouldn't have attempted in the first place. Service was insane for this last show- someone booked a wedding reception on the bottom floor at the same time as this SXSW (not official but advertised as an ancillary show) event so only the top bar was open and the lines to order went almost all the way through the inside! It just wasn't planned well. I really do enjoy this bar but I don't know that I would go to another show there- think it might just be for random meet ups.

Honestly, I don't even remember the last time we had such good drinks out (ok that's a lie but another review and it was at that place where Crowbar used to be - but these win hands down). The bartenders were nice and knowledgeable (Did I mention they make amazing drinks?). The outside has a similar feel to Cosmic but more secluded which is nice.
