Frazier's Long and Low is one of those East Austin spots that just feels easy to be at. It's got that classic dive bar energy, but still feels intentional and well-loved. Parking isn't terrible, which is always a plus for the area, and it's a great place to meet up with friends or just hang for a while. The drinks are affordable, the staff is super friendly, and the food hits the spot. I'm a fan of their hot dogs in particular. It's also a great place to play some pool, which adds to that casual, hangout vibe. They've got a jukebox too, although I'll admit I've been a little scared to touch it... not sure I'm ready to be judged for my music choices. There's a small patio area, but it's pretty compact, so it can fill up quickly. Inside, they've got two gender neutral restrooms covered in stickers and, interestingly, no mirrors. This place rocks -- it has everything you could want in a dive bar, slightly rude employees, pool, cheap food, and more. The frozen margaritas were pretty good. I didn't think it was too sweet or anything. The food was also pretty good. My favorite was the chopped cheese, and the pretzels were good too. I thought the potato wedge fries were just okay and one of them I ate had a weird chemically taste to it. The wings are also pretty decent. Apparently the burger here is supposed to be like the original mcdonalds burger and I'm just really confused cause it'd be like Using an iphone 1 nowadays and i dont want an iphone 1 i want an iphone 17. Frazier's is a super cute spot. It's right on a bus line and has a very inviting patio and seating inside including bar and booths. They are a full bar with lots of beers. The service was fast and friendly. This is a great people watching spot to grab a drink. Next time I'll try the food. read more

Went in with some friends and ordered one drink and I give the guy guy with gauges a $1 tip to make a beer with Bloody Mary mix and he starts whining like a child over the tip, and talking trash with the other bartender after I walk away. I came to Frazier's one weekend night before Halloween to check out their smashburger. Heard about it and was in the mood. I like the vibe here, a nice place to hang out with friends and have a drink and some TVs showing the sports games. If I lived close by I would likely visit this place more often. Kinda reminds me of Crown and Anchor a little bit. Sat at the bar and the guy said to get the smash burger with an extra patty for 2 bucks. I also got the chili cheese dog. That smash burger was really good for $7. I highly recommend. And I asked for extra onions and got it - hats off to the cook. The chili cheese dog was ok. I think the hotdog was nearly past its prime but I wasn't too impressed. Then again I am used to loving Costco's 100% all beef hotdog and soda for $1.50z. Or maybe it's $1.99 now? We had good experiences in the past so were disappointed when the chicken tenders were very small, thin and overcooked. The corn dog was really big and the hot dog tasty but the breading was also dark brown and tasted bitter from overcooking. read more

Great atmosphere here! We liked all the food we ordered, and the menu was so elite with amazing options. Wings were very good (top 5 in austin, just my style), and all the apps were so solid, we were impressed. Pretzels were such a highlight too, and fries were really yummy and unique shape. Very good portions for the money. Only complaint is that it seemed like they waited to bring everything out at the same time (which is fine and usually a standard practice) but as a result a couple items weren't HOT which was a little disappointing bc a few of these items you really want to eat when they're as hot and fresh as possible. Came into Frazier's for a quick lunch and it was like we transported to another decade. Really cool dive bar with plenty of bar seating, booths and pool tables. After a long and late flight, we got here close to 11pm, and they were going strong. Since we were starving, I ordered a chopped cheese, cheeseburger, and split an order of fries. The fries were really good, a weird moon-shaped spud but really crispy and hot. The burger actually was described as similar to McDonalds, and they weren't lying. However, that's a good thing, b/c the meat was so much better. About the same size and toppings as McDs too. The chopped cheese was pretty decent but should have had more meat and less lettuce. Soda fountain syrup was kinda weak, so none of the sodas had much sweetness to it and they really didn't bother to do anything about it. Atmosphere is pure dive bar, but service is good and fast. Pricing is pretty affordable too. read more

We ordered the veggie corndog, chili cheese regular dog, a side of fries and pretzels. Yes, we were pretty hungry, no we did not finish our food. We left about half a pretzel and a handful of fries. The food was good! The veggie corndog came out real hot, so be careful! But it was pretty close to what I remember a regular corndog tasting like. I'm told the regular dog was good too.
