CM Smokehouse, separate huge bar area with covered outdoor seating and... pickleball courts. Great all around, cool to duck in for some beers and brisket, burgers and fries. Food was excellent, they bring it to you at the table and the bar was tight. Misters on the outdoors area were the hot ticket. Cool spot off the main drag, very chill and loose.

Bouldin Acres nails the formula for a great day (or night) out in Austin. Whether you're showing up for the pickleball courts, the drinks, or just to hang with friends, this place checks every box. The pickleball setup is legit--well-maintained courts, plenty of space, and good energy without the pressure of a super competitive vibe. It's casual, fun, and great for groups or beginners looking to try something new. Booking ahead is smart, but even watching others play is part of the fun. The food and drink options are better than you'd expect for a sports-centric venue. Solid local beers on tap, creative cocktails, and a food truck setup with dependable favorites (burgers, tacos, snacks that hit the spot). The service was friendly and quick, even when it got busy. Ambiance-wise, it's classic Austin: laid-back, open-air, and dog-friendly with lots of shaded tables and places to lounge. Whether you come to play, sip, or people-watch, Bouldin Acres delivers a great mix of activity and relaxation. Pro tip: go early to beat the crowds and get a court without a wait.

Interesting place on Lamar. Pickleball, live music, a ton of TVs to watch sports, outdoor seating, and indoor seating. This place has it all. The menu is via QR code. Drinks are around $10 each. The food is ok, truck food. You order via an app, and then it's all delivered to you. The parking lot is oversized for Lamar, but on a busy night, it can be hard to find a spot. Limited exchange with employees per the model, but this place is a well-oiled machine.

Love the concept of Bouldin Acres. I will say that I've gone twice now, once a year or so ago and the second just recently. The rules have changed around kids so be sure to check that out before you decide to head out with your little one(s) and then can't get in. The space is huge, which is nice, and I appreciate the ease of scanning a QR code and ordering and closing your tab from your table. They have a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic options on the menu to choose from. My husband ordered the NA Mango not Tango and it was very tasty. We got the kids cheeseburger with fries and then I had been wanting to try the crunch wrap since I had seen a lot of reviews and advertising around it. I was a bit shocked when I saw the price for just the wrap with no protein ($19) I've been in Austin since 2009 and I know the prices of food are rising everywhere but it seems a little steep for a solo wrap with no sides. At least the portion/size of it was fair and it had good flavor but I most likely wouldn't order it again, paying $22 since I added pulled pork. (The brisket one that everyone talks about and is featured is an additional $4 on the $19.) Overall, I think it's a great option/venue for larger groups that want space and the ability to spread out and come and go but unless it's during HH be prepared to spend some $$.

This is my go to spot in Austin if I'm looking for good vibes, tasty food, and affordable but yummy drinks! I also love how dog friendly it is - they even have a small dog park! It's also a great spot to play pickleball or cornhole but can get really busy so plan accordingly. All in all, a 10/10 spot!

I give this place 4 stars for the vibes. Love that you can play pickle ball here or just have a chill night out with your friends while enjoying bar food/drinks. They are super dog friendly. As for food, didn't love the crunch wrap. The brisket burrito was too salty. I did enjoy the beef fajitas quesadilla though. Very cheesy and not too salty. Sweet potato fries were delicious and addicting. Quick service. Easy to order food on your phone.

Fun day with the teams and plenty of good vibes ;D The service was quick and attentive. The food was tasty too.

Great place to chill with a ton of open seating! You can play pickleball if you reserve a court or you can just come in for the vibe and the food! It's open seating and it's incredibly easy to order food and drinks. Each table has a QR code you scan. Upon opening the link that QR is essentially tied to your tab and table. When we went we arrived our food within 10 of ordering it! The food was pretty good and decently priced. We got the lo In terms of service there really isn't much because you do everything on your phone and they come to bring that to you but that's about it. For food we got the following: Loaded Waffle Fries Waffle fries topped with brisket, BBQ sauce, queso, & pickled onions There were plenty of crispy waffle fries and the brisket was smoked and tasted amazing. The pickled onions added some acidity that went very well with the brisket and queso. The Loaded waffle fries were my favorite out of the two items. Beef Fajita Nachos Nachos topped with pickled onions, sour cream, chopped beef The nacho chips to toppings ratio was a bit off but over all they tasted good. The beef was sliced into tiny pieces so that you got some in the bites. The rest of the toppings were really good as well overall they were delicious. Great overall experience and hopefully next time we go with enough time to play some pickleball!

I'm very much a fan of Bouldin Acres, as it has just about anything a patio bar enthusiast could ask for: pickleball courts (2), parking, in-and-outdoor seating, TVs, food trucks with veggie options, frozen beverages (frose, pina colada, margarita), and it's dog-friendly with its very own little dog area for the fur babies to run around. It's also kid- and family-friendly. I like how they streamline the food truck orders - you place your order at the bar and it's added to your tab, so there's no need to wait in a long line. Y'all - they have totchos and cauli-wings. I've gone to BA 3-4 times and the service is always friendly. My only suggestion would be to ditch the plastic straws and cups.

1/13/2024 Bouldin Acres 2027 S Lamar Blvd Austin, TX 78704 78704 (South Austin), South Lamar District, Bouldin Creek My nephew and his host dragged me here for a sports bar and Houston Texan's play off watch party. This is an indoor & outdoor cocktail table and metal (uncomfortable) stool, multi-screen TV palace. You have to scan the QR code on the table to access the order and pay app, but after that hassle, your order somehow finds its way to you. This place is a high energy gathering for the youth of Austin to watch their Texans and Cowboys. The crowd was extremely friendly and I felt welcome, even for an old guy; I must have been the oldest participant there by decades. The only issue I had was the wait time to use the men's room. I otherwise had a great time.

Been here a few times and like the fact that you can do different things especially if you're in a group - ie Play pickleball / arcades / just drink and hangout etc. Came here tnight to watch some MNF and grab some food and my review is mainly on how insanely overpriced the food was. Paid over $40 just for 2 food items? That's crazy and definitely not worth it in my opinion, which is disappointing because it's a cool spot.

Here to talk about Gringo Loco. The brisket crunch wrap is literally the most insane thing I ever ate. It's so good. Like insanely good. And HUGE. Like this is worth all $17 it costs. You all must try it. Do yourself a favor and go over to bouldin acres, watch a sports game and have a beer and order the brisket Crunchwrap. Thank me later that is all. Also shoutout bouldin acres that place rocks!!!!! Our pickleball league played here this season and it was soooo fun to mingle, drink and hangout after every game. Bouldin acres is so fun and great for all ages!!!!

    Delicious drinks and a playground

Food was delicious! Normally we have to pick if we can have a good place for kids to be entertained or good food. This place has BOTH and more. We were able to take our dog, our kids were able to play in he playground while we ate, pickleball and chess were available, and the food was great! Their mixed drinks were great, too. No comments on service since we ordered and payed using the QR on the table. Definitely a place to go if you have kids and/or dogs. We got very lucky with the weather.

My absolute favorite was their oysters Rockefeller which were some of the best I have had anywhere! The topic was crispy and delicious and they were perfectly cooked! Also enjoyed the half dozen or their East Coast oysters that were delicious. Enjoyed their delicious yellowfin tuna with lemons, capers, shallots and olive oil. The fries and onion dip were also just excellent ! My only let down - and it was barely that as it was so delicious and fresh - was the smoked trout dip! Part of it was a me problem as I was comparing it to my favorite version made by State Bird - a famous eatery in San Francisco where this is one of their go to dishes - and part of it was that this restaurant has that Feankin BBQ tie so when they said smoked - I was looking forward to that smoke forward taste and their was none - but it was fresh, delicious and well prepared!
