    Margarita and cosmo frozen
    Sandi G.

Came here for happy hour on Friday and it was great! It wasn't crowded and the bartender was super nice and offered my dog a treat. We got the margarita and cosmo frozen from the happy hour menu and both were delicious! I loved all the hand drawn cocktail menu on the blackboard behind the bar. It's definitely got a very Austin vibe.

Our second stop of the day Great margaritas and really nice staff It located on Rainey Street A great party street

We kidnapped the grand dog and took our pup. This looked like a great pet friendly place from the reviews. Did not disappoint. We visited during World Cup and fans were fun. They loved our pets. Drinks were great. Staff was friendly and there were also libations for our fur friends. Great visit and we will be back.

Good chill place for Dry January!

Stay Put on Rainey St was a solid Sunday afternoon spot. We're doing Dry January and they had NA beers, so we grabbed a couple, got some sun, and watched some football. Bartender was super welcoming and really nice. Chill vibe and easy place to hang.

This was our very first stop on Rainey. It was a cute spot and bright and open, but I didn't really feel super welcomed or wanting to "stay put" for very long. Granted, we only got one drink here, but the bartender didn't introduce himself or talk through anything with us like he did some other folks who came in after us. That's okay, lots of other spots to check out in the area. I got the spicy watermelon margarita because once I asked him about it, the bartender said it was one of the more popular drinks. Nate got a specialty paloma. Both drinks were good, and they also have their own beer. TVs were on and like most places in Austin, there was an outdoor area with more seating. Not a spot I'd run back to, but I'm not mad we checked it out.

A nice stop at the beginning of Rainey Street's house district to...Stay Put...at! We were here during the beginning of Mardi Gras, so we weren't sure what to expect on this street. Walking into here, it was pretty wide open inside, which it didn't look like it would be from the outside. We sat up at the bar and ordered a couple of their specialty cocktails that they had available during Mardi Gras. Daniel, our server, recommended a drink on special at the time called Saturday Cartoons. It had cognac, lemon and something else in it. It was really delicious though!

Had to make sure I was first to review this absolute gem of an establishment that we happened to find last night. My friends and I were in town for my birthday bash and for our final night, we were hitting the food trucks on Rainey Street. Peeped this adorable spot that looked like a log cabin so we went there after stuffing our faces and I'm pretty sure this ended up being the fan favorite for all 5 of us during this trip! Everything about this spot screamed good vibes! There was a nice beer, wine, and cocktail selection and the bartenders were great at creating some drinks for us when we wanted to try some different stuff but not sure what. The layout was adorable, long wooden community tables inside and more seating with heaters outside. Plethora of bathrooms with big community sink in the middle. And can we talk about the 90s playlist they were bumping because man were we jamming! Like GOOD 90s, I can't remember the last time I heard Busta Rhymes while out at a bar lol. I googled the place while we were there to find out more about it and what luck we had because they literally just opened days ago and their official opening party is in a few days! You should definitely check this spot out for hangout vibes amidst the craziness of Rainey Street! Mucho thanks to The Stay Put for closing out my birthday weekend in Austin wonderfully!

Popped in for a quick drink before dinner to check it out. Super cute. Was definitely disappointed though during a normal HH type time on a Wednesday and was charged $12 for a glass of BOXED wine that all I got was the crud.

Lauren is absolutely the best! I'd come back just for her incredible service. Her smile lights up the entire room, making every visit so much more enjoyable. I loved Stayput's homemade Pilsner--so smooth and refreshing--and their lemon drops are a perfect pick-me-up! The ambiance is equally impressive: a clean, welcoming space with great vibes all around. Definitely a 5-star experience!

The Stay Put was a fun time. I started off with a pour of the thicc ripp (a hazy IPA) followed by the mad dog marg. The cocktails were on tap but the one that I tried was good. Check it out if you are in the area.

We popped in only for a minute to say hi to someone, but this place had a nice interior and smelled like wood. Cozy place. Will definitely return to give it more of a try! Looks like a good place to enjoy a beer with friends. Also located next to a food truck park which is always a plus in my book!

Side seating if you've had too much.

The sourdough pizza was really good--almost like a focaccia/Detroit-style hybrid, but with the sauce layered on the bottom. Super flavorful, crispy edges, soft inside... honestly just hit. Also--my husband was way too excited (in the best way) to see boiled peanuts on the menu, so of course we had to start there. Great call. We'll definitely be back.

The building is quite large and inside is cool as the seating is quite spacious and a large number of people can enjoy food and drink at once. Definitely not a tiny, small placed brewery...but it's true... everything is bigger in Texas! When we were at Pinthouse I spotted a Mexican Lager which is a type of lager I love and especially in warm weather... a perfect summer beer for me! The name of the beer was Burro's Breakfast. In the flavor profile of this beer you will find a naturally sweet corn flavor, some maltiness along with a tart and dry finish. The beer is light bodied like most lagers of this type and smooth in body. In addition to having a beer we also decided to get some lunch. So we got a chicken sandwich a piece along with coleslaw and had a very nice lunch. Coming to Pinthouse Brewing proved to be a good stop as we made a pretty extensive tour of the breweries in Austin.

In the warmer weather which is plentiful in Texas sometimes I shift my focus towards Mexican Lagers and when we were visiting here that sounded amazing. So I went with the Primos Lager. In the flavor profile you will taste a grainy flavor, maltiness (but it's not heavy handed. It's very well balanced), citrus and lime are present as well. The Primos is so easy to drink that you could easily have more than one in one sitting... but I behaved and just had the one. There are a lot of tables and there was a big screen up to watch basketball when I visited! I haven't sat inside, but it looks nice as well and much quieter / at least when I visited. Service: 4/5 Had no issues, just ordered at the counter and voi la! Friendly person took our order & the only complaint is there were no cups outside for water - think it's just busy and this happens! Food & Beer 4/5: I had the magic carpet sour and it was very good, although I will say it isn't as sour as a typical sour would be. Nice drink overall and I think someone who isn't a sour fan may still enjoy it - it gives more cider honestly. My friend and I split the veggie quesadillas and the chips and salsa. The veggie quesadilla was good, the mushrooms they put in it were fab - I wouldn't say it's exceptional for the price but it was good. The chips and salsa were also good, but the salsa was a much thicker green and cilantro based something - I wouldn't exactly call it salsa, but it was good, just a bit misleading. I think they should add a descriptor on the menu, salsa usually means red unless otherwise noted imop.
