Very nice indoor and outdoor space with TV's! I ordered the lavender gin and it wasn't very good but the bartender was very sweet and attentive! The bartender shared they have bingo starting next week so I may check it out!

Sampled 4 beers and all beers were good! Staff was friendly, helpful and patient! We settled on 2. MAX STOUT (chocolate stout 6.8%) is a medium body (not heavy nor light) stout and the roast malt comes though w/o overdoing it. WOODERSON (W Coast IPA) is for the fans of hops! Not extreme, but very present palate anda moderate hop nose. Not overly bitter but has a bite, nor crazy piney; also not juicy nor in-your-face fruity. Lacing is quite present vs some. HAUS DUNKELl: the sample was very good! An easy drinking beer and a great all-around beer for a broad segment beer fans. HOLLY STREET HAZE. A NE Hazy IPA. Sample was very aromatic and hops can't be missed. This hazy was punchy in hops (what a sample can reveal vs full pour) and a good hazy. Maybe a bit more hop pop than the WOODERSON so the appeal is more for the lovers of a hop profile. Cheers!

Veteran & UT Alumni owned. Great beers, gorgeous patio/beer garden. Delicious frozen cocktails. What's not to love?

Love that Hi Sign Brewing hosts such fun events, like speed puzzling! Super fun, and such a cozy spot, and pretty good drinks! I'm not a big alcohol drinker so the drink options were a bit limited. And sadly the cocktails are all premade in a big batch so you can't turn any drink into a mocktail. But the options they had were pretty good! I was a fan of the N/A perol spritz and my friends really enjoyed Off the wagon. And of course they had other options like Mexican coke and Jarritos, which are always great. But if you're not a drinker, a great time to go is in January, when they have a more varied Dry January menu!

Been here a few times since they opened and it's a chill spot. Came here recently for a tech networking event. They also had geeks who drink event going on outside. The best thing about this place is their violet beer. It has been one of my favorite beers in town for quite some time now, it is very delicious. Another highlight is they also have some liquor. They can make an old fashion. I am not a fan of their premade one however, it has mezcal in it which I am not a fan. They don't have much to mix many cocktails as you can imagine since it's a brewery. The server was super nice and took his time explaining some menu items to me. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Dog-friendly outback, usually a good amount of dogs here. The restrooms are nice and clean. They have a food truck outside, it was Nyam when I went a few weeks ago.

One of my fave neighborhood spots. This brewery boasts a huge space indoors and out with lots of room to move. So many great pours to choose from. I love hanging out here because it's so relaxing and comfortable to sip on a beer and just unwind. Excellent service.

    No dogs inside! :(

This place could be great but their dog policy is ridiculous - they don't welcome dogs unless standing on blacktop is your idea of dog friendly on a hot day in Austin. I have been on dog-friendly crusade of breweries and this place just irritates me to no end. They are real close to my place but dogs are a nope inside. I have no idea why given they do not make food. The beer was good for the one we had but they didn't even tell us no dogs until right AFTER we had ordered and paid for our beer. The only you'll see is of my dogs standing on concrete as we sucked down our beer to leave. Get it together and say you are NOT dog-friendly so we don't waste our time here.

Awesome vibes, friendly service, and a great selection of beers! They even have a resident brewery cat that lounges outside -- if you're lucky, it might come hang out with you. A fun and laid-back spot all around!

Gorgeous decor/ style details in this brewery, especially the wallpaper in the bathrooms! Great deal for happy hour as well $5 All Drafts! We wanted to try them all so we got all of them available. The beer quality was fantastic, you won't find a watered down/plain flavor like so many of them these days. Our favorites were the Shamus Irish Red, Wooderson IPA, and the HI-C IPA. They also offer cocktails and mocktails as well as a few options for wine, cider, and coffee. Great selection of to-go beers and merch. The place was extremely clean everywhere. They have 2 tvs and they were showing international soccer! We didn't see much of the staff, the woman working the counter frequently left and the limited people there had to wait a bit at the counter to get anything, but there wasn't many people around on a later Sunday day. The outside has a lot of potential, but most months it's just too hot with limited shade and no fans or misters and inside can get crowded and loud fast. A man came by with a dog and asked for water for it and he got a beer and they sat outside, but it was like 90 degrees and they both looked miserable, wish they could have come inside as there was basically no one there. Seemed odd with their branding about dogs, not having a kitchen or food to worry about, and most breweries around here are cool with it.

I've visited Hi Sign several times now and have generally had a good time. There are lots of beers on tap, and I've enjoyed all of the ones I have tried. Now, I normally don't like to post anything negative, but I feel the need to mention my latest experience. My parents were in town last weekend, so my boyfriend and I decided to take them to Hi Sign after dinner at Holiday down the street (this was Friday, August 9th during the evening). There were 2 employees pouring beers at the bar. One, the older one, had AirPods in the entire time he was working and was extremely rude to us. We ordered 3 beers, and he handed us 2. We politely waited and when he didn't say anything, we asked for the 3rd beer we had already paid for. He rudely told us that he had already given it to us and that someone must have already taken it (even though we were the only ones standing at the bar and nobody else had come to the bar between when we ordered and that moment). He eventually agreed to pour another beer, and when he handed it to us, said "here it is, even though I already gave it to you". Additionally, the 3 beers we had ordered were 3 distinct beers. The third beer he poured was the same one as the second one (I'm forgetting the names now). We informed him of this, as we had watched him pour it, and he denied it and laughed at us. We tried them and confirmed that they were in fact the same. At this point, we decided to just leave it at that and walked away with the 3 beers, happy to at least have the quantity we paid for, even if it was not what we had asked for. Very disappointing experience with this particular employee. Perhaps he was just having a bad day, but that is no way to treat customers. We will certainly think twice before returning.

Stopped by for dinner today and got a beer here and some food from Norte. I got the Mexican lager, with a lime of course, and it was refreshing and delicious! Would absolutely get it again and hope I can find it at a grocery store. Plenty of seating inside and outside. There is covered outside seating, too. Dogs allowed outside. Definitely recommend for a nice, modern brewery with some tasty food trucks on the same lot.

Very nice place to chill and hang out. Fun vibe. There were food trucks to grab a bite to eat too. Lots of seating for various group sizes.

This was a wonderful "last stop" on our way to the airport. Our beertender was wonderful and answered all of our beer questions. They have a couple of food trucks on the patio. The only one that was open when we stopped by was the Grilled Cheese truck, and they were out of most of the toppings. So, plan to be flexible on food when you visit. The beers are great! Lots of options and a little something for everyone. Stick to the beers. The cocktails are batched and honestly, just not very good. But, the beers more that make up for the cocktails ;)

    Is there food?

They had a food truck previously, although last time it wasn't there. You may want to call ahead to verify something will be there when you plan to visit. No kitchen inside though.

    Do they have cornhole?

Perhaps the japanese sakes would have tasted better? We also decided not to get the sushi hand rolls to try and make the drinks more bearable as they did not have much variety or sounded good. We got Texas Sake tasting to start with and this is where we finished. The flight looked very different from other people's reviews here and tasted VERY fishy. The yellow-ish one was probably the most bearable one but it still was not good at all. To be very honest, I really had to push myself to take more than one sip of each. If I had nothing to compare with, I would probably refrain from being this harsh, but I have had cheap and expensive sake and I have never tasted anything this bad... We looked at the hand roll options and we didn't find anything we would be interested in. The interior felt like it was a bingo room with a couple of Japan inspired booths that looked a little bit out of place compared to the rest of the floor. Gave one star for nice staff and a cool fish mural.

The sourdough pizza was really good--almost like a focaccia/Detroit-style hybrid, but with the sauce layered on the bottom. Super flavorful, crispy edges, soft inside... honestly just hit. The building is quite large and inside is cool as the seating is quite spacious and a large number of people can enjoy food and drink at once. Definitely not a tiny, small placed brewery...but it's true... everything is bigger in Texas! When we were at Pinthouse I spotted a Mexican Lager which is a type of lager I love and especially in warm weather... a perfect summer beer for me! The name of the beer was Burro's Breakfast. In the flavor profile of this beer you will find a naturally sweet corn flavor, some maltiness along with a tart and dry finish. The beer is light bodied like most lagers of this type and smooth in body. In addition to having a beer we also decided to get some lunch. So we got a chicken sandwich a piece along with coleslaw and had a very nice lunch. Coming to Pinthouse Brewing proved to be a good stop as we made a pretty extensive tour of the breweries in Austin.
