Great spot for coffee and/or beer and cocktails! There is a ton of space to sit indoors and outdoors, family and dog friendly. They had live music the night we went, which was great, and stopped in the next morning for coffee and they were setting up different vendors for the afternoon. We tried a sour beer and a Hefeweizen. Both were so good! The sour was very sour, but great flavor, and the Hefeweizen had strong banana flavor, was one of the better Hefs I've had lately! The coffee was also delicious, highly suggest the Orange Vanilla Chai.

Oh boyee, am I excited about the first 'brewery' to be located in what had formerly been a 'brewery desert' in SW Austin! Based a couple of recent trips to Nomadic Beerworks 'Outpost' location, we found quite an upgrade (to building that was the former Barn Bar) that was apparently 7 months in the making. Interesting to note here is that this is not a brewery, but they actually have a 'pub license' from TABC - which allows them to offer more than just their own beers - which sounds like a fantastic strategy. On our recent visits, we found a LOT to like here, including; - offering Nomadic and other's brews, - offering non-beer options with both mixed drinks and coffee drinks, - an upbeat and engaging staff, - a complete interior remodel which includes several nice upgrades, with the highlights being a nice bar design with lots of seating, TVs, and 5 nicely upscaled, unisex bathrooms, - TONS of outdoor seating in the shade and some outdoor games. Overall, while you may feel that the space tends towards basic, the total offering is certainly a welcome improvement AND the first brewery located in Sunset Valley. Well done to the Nomadic Beerworks Team!! For now, they are 1.) opening at 8AM Wed thru Sunday to offer coffee drinks, muffins, baked items and breakfast tacos (from Slab BBQ next door), 2.) working on what Mondays and Tuesdays should look like. I find this exciting, as this Team is focused doing business the right way (as their neighbors can attest) and isn't just interested in 'being open' - but more interested in how they can differentiate themselves and bring something customers will enjoy. More to come from this team....we'll be back!

I love the original Nomadic off S Congress but when this location opened almost a year ago I was so excited, as it's a 10 minute walk. It's literally your neighborhood coffee shop/brewery. The staff is sooo friendly, plenty of space and they usually have certain events going on weekly such as movie night on Wednesdays and open mic on Thursdays. I like coming here to wfh and happy hour, definitely a place to check out!

    Lots of space outback.

The best cortado of my life. Recently opened on Brodie Lane, spur of Sunset Valley north of William Cannon. A new location for Nomadic Beerworks which brews a variety of unique beers locally in Austin. When we visited on a Monday afternoon we joined a few folks working on laptops. They have a big beer, high top seating and tons of outdoor space (in front and out back). I expect this place will get busy in weekends with people playing cornhole and enjoying the open space and their great beers and coffee. Next door to the new Slab BBQ. This area of Brodie Lane is really heating up. Now can we get an express bus that goes downtown?

Cute location with beer and coffee. Supporting local businesses is always great. I had the Mayan mocha and it was delicious! Service was great and very friendly.

Huge outdoor area. Has lots of picnic tables, games and kids play area.

One word: Amazing…read more This is easily my favorite brew pub, and I've been to so many around the world. ABGB is truly an Austin gem. You get to know the servers, meet some talented musicians, dance the night away, drink tasty beer, eat delicious pizza, and pet the cutest ABGB ambassador, Mago. Kim, the brewer is all around a wonderful person who makes the best beer around. If you're in for just one night, try the superliner and the beegining. The Superliner is a zangy IPA, and the Beegining won the 2026 World Beer Cup Gold. Go straight for the waygu and order some pints, you cannot go wrong. That's right, they have Ranch Water on Tap coming out of the spicket just like draft beer. It was really good and very popular with the other patrons. I ordered the Italian Sub and my wife ordered the Muffuletta Sandwich. They both had so much meat and veggies on them. It was actually kinda hard to take a bite, but we managed. They were both very good. The service in this place is amazing. I got to give a shout out to my bartender "Matt"! He was so attentive, on top of everything and had a great personality. He's one of the best bartender's I've ever had. It was a pleasure to meet you Matt! The atmosphere and ambiance in this place is very lively, joyful and rocking. They had a band that was made up of several band members from a school (sorry I don't remember the name of the school) that was killing it on stage. They played all kinds of music and a lot of old rock and roll music. They were so much fun to listen to and watch. This was our first time here, but it for sure won't be our last. I think we found a new hangout!!

In the attached picture from left to right I rank the sake from bad to less bad. The one of the right was bearable but I still would not buy it alone. Perhaps the japanese sakes would have tasted better? We also decided not to get the sushi hand rolls to try and make the drinks more bearable as they did not have much variety or sounded good. I was also not a fan of the interior. Kind of reminded me of an old chinese buffet with those large stick chairs and tables. The staff here were friendly, but nothing else really redeemed here

We got Texas Sake tasting to start with and this is where we finished. The flight looked very different from other people's reviews here and tasted VERY fishy. The yellow-ish one was probably the most bearable one but it still was not good at all. To be very honest, I really had to push myself to take more than one sip of each. If I had nothing to compare with, I would probably refrain from being this harsh, but I have had cheap and expensive sake and I have never tasted anything this bad... We looked at the hand roll options and we didn't find anything we would be interested in. The interior felt like it was a bingo room with a couple of Japan inspired booths that looked a little bit out of place compared to the rest of the floor. Gave one star for nice staff and a cool fish mural.
