Get ready for the parking misery, but know you are going through this for a reason. You can park sort of around the corner. Try Coldwater or park on Hamlin and walk a bit. It is worth it. The place is adorable. Most of their business is take away or delivery, but there is seating and it is comfortable and quiet. It is kept very clean and I don't think it is more than a year old as I could have sworn there was a Mexican place there, but what do I know. The prices are fair and the service is super nice and they know the menu well and will help you. They are fast and your food comes out as ordered. We have eaten there and have had take away. We have yet to use delivery as I don't think they deliver out as far as we are. All of their food is great. My favorite is their dumplings. But everything is great. Even their white rice is fresh and good. We love all their noodle dishes. Their vegetable springs rolls are great. Their potstickers and again any dumpling is great. Their spicy chicken wings are too hot for me, but my grandson loves them. We love their orange chicken and their kung pao chicken. Their chow mein noodles are a must try. Everything is good and you will have food to take home for the next day. It heats up great.

My family and I are usually so picky about our Chinese, so we were so curious when we passed Victory and saw they just opened up a new Chinese restaurant! I didn't have expectations, but I have to admit... they exceeded what I thought it would be anyways. The portions are huge!!! They're definitely shareable. I have braces and I can actually enjoy everything we've ordered. They were hot and tender! Customer service was superb! They checked on us very often. Love the music in the background, decent volume to still be able to make conversation. I'll definitely come back again! (Outdoors seating are available, too). The only thing iffy, is the parking lot! There aren't many. I came during lunch time on a Friday though, and we find out just fine.

Placed a takeout order via their kiosk on a monday evening. Friendly employees and the food was ready in less than 15 minutes. Tangerine chicken - very lightly breaded white meat chicken in tangerine sauce. Tasty! But definitely missed the crunch you get from orange chicken. Curious how they compare now. Generous portion. Black pepper beef - super flavorful and tender! There's an absolutely ton of peppers and onions in here though. Vegetable egg rolls - very good. On par with any others I've tried. The sauce leans more ginger or lemony than typical sweet and sour. Fried rice - much more flavorful than most fried rice! Singapore style noodles - this is my own fault, but I did not like this dish because of the curry flavor. I didn't know what Singapore style noodles were. I just thought they looked so satisfyingly delicious in the photo. Sigh. If you like curry, this is great, though. I tried to power through it by adding the sauce from the beef dish and some Sriracha. Generous portion. Overall, everything tasted fresh, was well seasoned, and of good quality. I wish it was more of a panda express style spot where you could get a plate of various things, though. 2 entrees, one upgrade to fried rice, one appetizer, and one noodle dish (with meat) ran me just over 70 dollars. A bit more than I would have liked to spend, but we wanted to try several items. Will be back to try the orange chicken or whenever I'm craving some good fried rice.

Good food ! Good service, ran into Rafa who worked in studio city at another spot for 15 years and I surly remembered him . Will eat here again

Excited to have another Chinese restaurant near NoHo! This place is right next to a poke place that I frequent! It used to be a breakfast burrito place but now its a pretty decent Chinese restaurant. Ordered food for pick up here. Got the shrimp, the hot and sour soup, won ton soup and the green beans - no spicy. Overall the food was pretty good, the hot and sour soup tasted a little generic, but everything else was pretty tasty. Would go back since this place is closer to us!

Decided on this place on a whim. Not knowing how the food and service might turn out. From the start the staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Food is amazing as well, great portions, was hot and ready to eat. Overall, the atmopshere did not feel overwhelming nor intimidating. Music was not too loud as well. Great place highly recommend to others who are looking for first-that-comes-to-mind-good Chinese food

This place is an institution. After I wrote that sentence, I felt like I was trite. And like I said…read moresomething but not really. Like, one time I was watching Project Runway, a season finale episode, where the designers make their own creations, and do not have to make their ensembles from shredded newspaper or bird seeds or pinata remnants. And after a so-and-so of the fashion industry said, "I wanted to go and rip that jacket off the model." This other time, I saw a poster for a coming musical and it said, "stop everything you are doing, and go this musical now" says this important person in the theathre world. What am I am trying to say is that the comment I wanted to do this immediately or drop everything and do this immediately is so overwrought and widely used that it lost all meaning. Kind of like calling this place an institution. So I will call this place what I should to not be drown in my own trite. One time I went to this place and I went cause I was invited to a birthday party. And it was a large group of people. Me and a friend debated if Penny, from the Big Bang, had eaten at this place. She was also in Charmed--- it is a household name, I can't remember it. So this place is famous enough to be a go to move, and it has many pictures of celebrities that have gone there. The food is also super good, so this place, like I said is an insititution. When I went there a second time, I was more aware of the place I was visiting and kind of was ready to receive its Chinese fare with an unhinged jaw. I was dining with a friend, the same friend that I had the is that Penny from Big Bang debate? It was not. She eventually one. But like she and I ate here again, without knowing we were going to the same place. I would say its a small world but.... She and I ate with gusto. It does not take a lot to know that the speciality of the house is their slippery shrimp. They also have slippery chicken and slippery tofu. Super good, sweet, sour but it was not sweet and sour sauce shrimp, it had differences. I am not sure what. There were some heat notes but not like terrible heat. So I am not exactly sure what this place does to make their slippery sauce but let us just that it was delicious and different than other Chinese food sauces. Ronnie and I had the works. Rice, Beef with Brocoli, Pan fried dumplings, and dumpings. It was the type of Chinese food that was so good a coke was needed to balance the decadent saltiness of the fare. Yeah, that might not make sense but I wrote what I wrote. We had eniugh food to share between the two of us. It was that type of meal, where leftovers were welcomed and made sense. They were not left over, they were left untouched because it would be a shame to not enjoy them later. The service was great. The place felt traditional, and like it took you to an alley in China to eat a grandmother's food who knows how to use a Wok and pinch dumplings so they stay close for good. I saw this bad review that skewered this place. And I am like wow! How can we be so different. Not like Ying and Yang Different, more like flutter and flatten. But taste is subjective, so decide for yourself if this place is a peacock worthy of its feathers or a tiger with its claws clipped.

It was a but busy when we got there but luckily we got seared pretty shortly after arrival. We originally wanted to sit at the bar, but opted for a table for less wait time. When first looking at the menu we were shocked by the prices. I knew immediately i wanted to get the hui tou potstikers with pork and noodles. We ended up adding on the hongkong style wontons too. To my suprise the wontons arrived in a delicious and warm broth, keeping them perfectly moist and plump. The broth was so delicious even on a hot day, tasting faintly of sesame and scallion. Despite both dishes being pork they were so different and equally amazing in flavor. The pan fried potstikers which were CRISPED TO PERFECTION especially reminded me of black bean shortribs that you get from dimsum, fatty but hearty and had me wanting more and more each bite. The minced pork noodles were to no suprise, so good. Noodles tasted fresh, the sauce was umami with mushrooms and pork. While im not the biggest fan of mushrooms, i still ate it up. I feel it would be so good with some picked cabbage too to complement the saltiness. Most notable thing... THAT CHILI OIL. We probably used almost half the jar left at the table. It wasnt spicy at all, but it had this flavor that i genuinely have never tasted before. The texture of the chilli and sesame and the nutty flavor had me in awe. Enough to take two jars home... i would do it again. Servers were so quick, made sure everything we needed was at the table. Regardless of the crowd we were met with promptness and generosity. This that wonton place your girl tells you not to worry about forreal. Will be coming back despite the long drive from home.

Everything was prepared wonderfully and had tremendous flavor. I recommend trying their Hui Tou, stuffed with pork or beef, pork and leek pancakes, they also have vegetarian options. Their pork shumai was delicious, xiao long bao's soup dumplings were flavorful. Delicious. I definitely need a second trip here to try their soups and more of their variety of dumplings.

The way it's set up is pretty cultural. It reminds me of some hole-in-the-wall Asian restaurant the way they have metal utensils at each table. It's almost like a self-serve system to certain tools which is pretty common. I haven't drank water out of metal cup in a long time, so that was nostalgic too. We tried a variety of dishes to get a fuller understanding of their menu of what this place has to offer. I was really looking forward to the beef roll because it's usually one of my favorite dishes, but this one was disappointing. I define a good beef roll as one that's a good mix of sweet, savory and refreshing. The meat makes it savory and the veggies are supposed to counter it make the whole dish feel light. If someone disagrees with me, please share your thoughts on what a beef roll should taste like. The one from Pine & Crane was drenched in sauce. I could not taste the meat or the veggies and the whole thing tasted like a stick of sugar. The mapo tofu was on point, but this is quality you can probably make at home. The flavor profile was very similar to that of stuff you'd get a grocery store. The three cup jidori chicken came recommended, so we tried it. The flavor is very pungent and goes well with rice.
