Banner burger is what's up! Comes with a single patty with crisped bacon, and a generous amount of mayo with their sauce. You can add a fries and shake for up to 2 dollars more and they are known for their milkshakes but I didn't want to fall asleep at work due to being overstuffed. My burger by itself was less than $5. read more

Beat hamburger in the Cowlitz County hands down. The Banner Special is an amazing deal and my 2 year old loves to devour the crinkle fries while sitting outside and watching all the big tractor trailers drive by. Always a great stop for lunch... just remember to call your order in ahead of time to avoid the wait. read more

Nipps had more stars then Carls Jr, so we had to check them out. First time, and they family enjoyed their delicious burgers. The husband had the mushroom burger with cheese, it was juicy and messy to eat. The granddaughter's loves the kid meal cheeseburger with fries. I had the protein pack salad with grill chicken, the chicken and bacon was freshly cooked. I love that their fries are freshly made, and it taste good with the fries sauce. It was so delicious and satisfying that we went there twice in a week since we were in the area. Customer service was awesome, and quick. I have been to Nips before and just got the burger- which of course is Delish with the fries- yum! However I tried the chicken dumpling soup one day and dang if that was not the best comfort food - so good! So hearty and filling. Would go back just for that! read more

Ended up missing the drive through and found ourselves in another lot. Went with a Josh's Special and while it was explained to me, I wasn't listening too well. So I just went with it. My wife got a chicken sandwich. They didn't get the order right. We ended up with two combos and a grilled chicken sandwich vs. crispy. Thought the double cheese burger was great. Would give them a solid 3 stars but the screw up cost them... Maybe next time I will adjust. read more

I have to write this. I have already gotten several to try Nipps out - for the fish. Wow. I prefer the cod, but everyone I bring to you seems to like the Halibut best. Google tells me Nipps has the best shakes in Longview. For me, I say. The shakes are the best in the state. I have reviewed you on google. I have tried all the foods. I must visit every weekend because, of course, that is when I am told we, as god-fearing Americans, must eat our fish. When I started this weekly treat, it was about a year ago, in December of 2021. Though I have been several times in the past now, I come once a week. I learned that if I present my VA card at the window, you give us 20% off our bill. This gives me even more opportunity to tell people at the VA Hospital to come to try your food. Then one day, about nine weeks back, I met the boss. I wonder if she is the owner; she says she is the boss. When I got to the window, she was sure to inform me that she had no difficulties hearing others speak their order but because I was so quiet... Well, I had to reorder my food at the window. I felt ashamed, so I handed her $20 as an extra tip though my bill was only around $9. She apparently thought I was being highly inappropriate and informed me that she was the boss. She does not enjoy tips, so please take the change and get out of her drive-thru. I was not mad at this. I mean more money for me. However, she slammed the window. Something in me rose. I took out all the money in my wallet and the 11 dollars she forced me to take back and then threw it at the window. I took my food and drove away. That was about three months ago, and I just decided to go back today as I love their cod. Wouldn't you know she saw me? she told the regular checker to go on break and took my order. "Remember me?" she began. "I do," I said, "You are the boss, and you do not like tips." "I never said that. I only told you I do not take tips for myself. What will it be?" I gave my order she rang me up. I pulled out my American Express then I presented my VA card. "NO," She said, slamming the register. "This is an exchange. You must tell me if you have any discount before I ring you up." (Now, this seems reasonable; I now made her do an extra step. But if I had gone thru the drive-thru, at what point in that kind of exchange would I show my card? I would have said my order, waited until I got to the window, then they would have told me the price. I would have shown my card, they would have told me of my discount, I would pay, and there would be no difficulty. I mean, this is what I did today, right?) "You can cancel my order and retake the order now, knowing that I am qualified for the discount. I love your food. I see you do not like me. But I am staying. By the way, do you remember the last time I was here? And that day you gave me my discount. So you knew I would ask again. Can you explain why you are giving me guff today?" "Your receipt, the food will be right out." So then, The woman, for whatever cause she is on about wanting to explain how rude I have been, is clearly at this job to serve either her job or her paycheck, her skill to make me feel that I am the one who is the true boss and she will do what she can to make me feel welcome? No, she has failed in this. It is, however, the best shakes and cod in the city. read more

Listen the food is good here most of the time way better than McDonald's or Burger king right! Well I went thru the drive thru the other day to get my kids chicken nugget meals and the person on the other end of the receiver taking my order just happend to be the owners wife was so rude because she misheard me and thought I said chicken strip baskets went off on me. Tell me it's a lot of work to change it and blah blah blah it was so rude. I pulled out of the drive thru and left I was so disrespected! I will ever go there again and i promise you i told all my friends and family too! just because you own a place does not give you a right to treat people that way! shame on you and your business. Most of the time Nipps is great. I have tried many menu items and the quality is very good. However on a recent visit on Dec. 30 I ordered the chicken strip basket. I have had it before and the straps were large and meaty. This time after driving away with my food, I opened to find 1 average strip, 1 small strip that was broken in half and 4 nuggets. As for the fries, which are usually hot and crispy, this time were luke warm and very flexible/limp. At the window when asked if I wanted any sauce I requested ketchup, but found that there was no ketchup and no napkins either. We've always enjoyed Nipps but tonite aside from being busy we didn't receive our change. We handed the girl working the drive thru a $100.00 bill and she handed us our food and we never received our change of $55.25... it wasn't until arriving home it was realized. We tried to call multiple times but nobody ever answered. read more

Stopped in here based on reviews and it was good. Lived up to its revuews. Burgers are of the fast food variety, but I'd say a small step up from McDonalds/Burger king etc. Shakes were just ok, pretty basic and ours wasn't completely mixed up so it was obvious that it wasn't real fruit (clearly a strawberry syrup). Price right, service is fast and food is decent. I'd say it's a solid 3.5 starts... I tend to round up since I've got no major complaints. read more

This is an older drive thru still holding its own against 3-4 well known chain burger joints within walking distance. Our family of 5 came through on a road trip. The menu board was a little confusing and hard to read from the car, but the order taker was patient with us as we placed our large order. We really enjoyed our cheeseburgers. The fries were great. My kids devoured their chicken strips. Nothing was too greasy. I'd definitely choose this place for a burger before the other options in town any time. My diet Dr. Pepper was a little weak, as if someone didn't put enough syrup in the soda machine so I deducted one star. read more

Used to be really good, but something has changed. Dirty dining area, empty condiment dispensers that weren't filled even after staff notified, super skimpy portions and different fry sauce. Wondering if there is a new owner. The fry sauce was one of Nipp's specialty items--perfectly sweet and tangy. Now it is a poorly mixed mess of ketchup and mayo (see photos) that is borderline gross. My bag of large fries was only half full. I pointed this out to the cashier and she said "well that's a large". What has happened to this place? Ate about 25% of my food and tossed it. This is a real shame. Nipp's used to be my local favorite. read more
