Great food, BUT they are slowwwwwww. And they always seem to be out of one thing or another. Seems management needs to step up and get on top of things. Taking five minutes to order at the drive-up window is ridiculous. Being out of shakes, shake flavors, onion rings, etc? Really? Only because I love the food is why it's three stars for me. The customer service and being out of items constantly detracts away from the quality. And when the walk ins go faster than the drive thru? They are only open for drive thru eating. I decided to get the combination one and combination two. One consist of a quarter pound burger with fries and a drink. I substituted the fries for onion rings and I got cheese on my quarter pound burger. The burger was very delicious there is a reason they have almost 5 stars. The onion rings were really good and the combo number two had the french fries and they were really good too. I don't usually like season fries but these were actually good. Everybody was very nice and treated me respectfully. The masks looked like some people had a bandanna instead of an actual mask but we didn't get that close to each other it just looks slightly unprofessional. My fiance and I came up to Longview from Portland to visit a friend and stopped by here because we were starving and it seemed to be a local favorite. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food at such a low price. Classic throwback style drive through burgers were delicious, the patties themselves had a nice crust, all the the topping were fresh, cheese was perfectly melted and BOY do I love me a wet burger slathered in sauce. My fiance ordered the skrimps and she said they were delicious as well. Definitely going to be coming back for some fried fish next time we're in town! read more

If you are driving thru Longview to go anywhere, STOP! This place is such a gem for Cowlitz County and everyone should know about it. Visited my parents for the first time in 10 months (thanks covid) and this was my only demand- we have to go to nipps. I got the chicken sandwhich with fries and onion rings. Both are fantastic so don't either either, get both. And tons of nipps sauce. I've been avoiding dairy for a couple years now but I loved their milkshakes when I was in high school. Super nostalgic burger place, the kind of place that evokes memories of warm summer evenings fading into twilight as you sit on the tailgate with your siblings waiting for your parents to hand out burgers, fries and shakes. The burgers are incredible and the fries have the perfect crisp to them. When it comes to shakes they have ten flavors that can be combined and mixed as you please. I got a quarter pound cheeseburger, an order of fries, and an orange sherbet milkshake - about $9.50 total. The Burger was grilled (I think so) and very tasty. I came here on the recommendation of a fellow Yelper. My bestie recently moved to Longview and I went down for her son's birthday party. I refrained from eating (well I of course had birthday cake!) and hit up Nipps before I got on I-5. I think I went on a bad day. It seems that they were having issues with the speaker system in the drive-thru. Someone mentioned in their review that the DT line could be long, but moved quickly. From the time I got in line to the time I left, it was a 17 minute wait! I ordered the Nipp burger combo with a Diet Dr. Pepper. I get to the window and she says my total is like $4 and some change. I asked, "for the Nipp burger combo", cuz I was pretty sure it was $7 and some change. She said, "Oh, I thought you said kid burger." She corrected my order, told the food crew, and took my money. Ok, that's fine. She was cutting out on the speaker, so maybe I was cutting out on her end also. However, at the window she confirmed that I wanted a Diet. Dr. Pepper and I said yes. My first sip on the 5, definitely confirmed that she had given me a Diet Pepsi. BUMMER DUDE. But it's ok. The fries and burger were good. Loved all the grilled onions on my burger. Love that the only sauce on it was ketchup and mustard so I didn't have to customize. Hate customizing. I am a customizer though. I would give it another chance. Definitely want to try a shake. We have driven by this place hundreds of times and I do mean hundreds! However, we've never stopped until now and that was only because my daughter wanted a delicious lettuce wrapped burger. Not only was the menu amazing for a drive-thru but also the small 1/4 hamburger and fries were amazing too. Who would have thought? No wonder it's been in business for years. The hamburger was like a typical old-fashioned burger loaded with extras. It'd been a long time since I'd had one this good. The fries were good too but I found the hamburger especially top-notch. It's just a little less than what I expected. I got the regular hamburger and it was big and fresh that's for sure so they gets points for it but there was something about it that was just so monotonous. First off it was messy you couldn't pick it up without buts of lettuce or onion falling onto your lap but at least the veggies were fresh. Burger buns are an essential part of the meal and they knocked it out of the park with the buns its just so fluffy and soft but not soggy. Very good pickle presence, everyone loves a good crunchy pickle and I saw a review that they use bread & butter but I was not under than impression with my burger. The patty was the best part it was nice juicy & big everything you want out of a burger patty, I ate half of it when I got it and the second half about an hour later and it was still very tasteful which was a big surprise. The establishment is eye catching the say the least very flash and had an old fifty diner vibe which was very cool. The line is wrapped around and a few cars deep every time I've driven past it which is why I was kind of let down once I tried the food.
