April provided great service and the food was better than expected. The atmosphere was good, not too loud, but we had come around 4pm.

Would be 2 stars except for 3 reasons, one is that my friends fries were lukewarm at best, and his Whisky Burger had parchment paper in it (see photo). The other is the pricing structure. I maybe kind of weird, but when I'm having dinner, I would like a simple house salad. In order to have a salad with your meal, it's either substitute a side with an upcharge of $2.99 or order it as a stand alone for $4.99. Really Applebees??? I had the chicken and shrimp pictured, it was delicious, the staff was attentive. I wasn't wowed, but I wasn't underwhelmed either. Just an average experience. Not sure if I would go out of my way to eat here again. read more

Went there for dinner. chicken strips were dry and tasteless, ribs were even worse. waitress never checked on us and when we finally flagged someone down to order a dessert, she snapped at us that we should have only ordered through her. Dessert was a joke. brownie was less than 2 inch square with about 1/8 cup of ice cream, why bother if you are going to provide less than a spoonful. We will not be returning probably ever. Such a disappointment. This was the Longview, Wa location. I forgot to mention, we ordered a side order of coleslaw. it was sour and awful. Had to toss it. read more

Came in at 545, wasn't seated until 559. Asked if we could get happy hour apps and was told no and we didn't make it. Didn't want to argue with the waitress. Ordered a beer and there was something in the glass. Asked for a replacement. They did replace it but there was no discount for the nasty glass i had just dranken out of. Have been to many Applebee's in different cities and states. I have to say the quality of food, ambience, and service is pretty consistent. There is almost always a TV with a sports game on that you can see. This could get you in trouble as it may distract from any guests you may have with you. Waitress was amazing, but manager was crappy. 40 minutes to get our food. Order was wrong. Waitress said manager would be bringing our order to discuss the delay. He brought the food, set it down & walked away. No explanation as to what caused the delay. He needs to go to training, as his lack of skills as a manager are obviously lacking. read more

My wife is picky on her wings but she said they were pretty good, I had the chicken sandwich and it was nice and crispy but you have to eat it quick because it does get moist quick. The fries were cold though which was the only bad part. The waiter was real nice, also coming in there was a man by the door greeting us who also was real nice. I didnt have a problem with the vibe because the workers didn't seem so miserable. The only bad part with service was there was a family of smokers that came in and were sat right behind us and with my wife's pregnancy nose is extra sensitive already and there was room elsewhere to be placed but they were sat right behind us. read more

Service is always on point. Food is great but I don't go there for the steak. I'd give their steaks about 3 out of 5 stars. Not exactly fantastic but there steak. But if you're looking for something amazing order the Three Cheese Chicken Penne. Absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is sporty and casual. Great place for a great meal. I went there thinking that even with the plethora of allergies I have I would be able to find something on the menu. Unfortunately there is nothing on their menu that I can have. The wait staff was so helpful trying to help me figure it ou. That's when the manager, Freddie, stepped in and informed me that there was absolutely nothing for me. He then took it upon himself to clean the grill and cook me a special order so that I had something to eat. Then as if that's not enough he comped my meal. They were all absolutely wonderful. Walk in to half full bar area for a drink. Waited 10 mins for someone to acknowledge me only for them to ask me to wait in the waiting area until they get "caught up". I totally understand if this is for food but I only asked for a drink. Watched the bartender and he wasn't busy. read more

We've been to this Applebee's several times and it always seems to vary. Sometimes I feel it's a 2 star and other times it might jump to a 4 star. I guess that's inconsistent for sure. This visit was a fun visit with good service and good food. Two of us had appetizers and two of us had meals. All was good and just as we hoped. We also learned about the monthly drink special for $1. Every month the drink choice changes and you can try it for $1. So, in a few days it'll be September and we're going back! read more

Its Not Worth The Wait A 10 minute wait to be seated was 20 with open seats. But the disinterested hostess did suggest we have a seat in the bar.....with our minor child...yeah no. And we waited. And waited. And the booth next to us had 3 children two of which were unrully. A never ending rain of debris came flying over the booth. One even climbed under our table when throwing a tantrum in the aisle. However this is beyond the control of the resteraunt and more a failure of the parents. The service was so slow. Apatizers came without plates and when they brought them the main course was there. Just slow . Food: geasy for their double burger on par with a jack in the box in quality and quantity. The jack in the box would of tasted better. Chicken strips, about the same you would get from something microwaved. It is not a good experience and it is not a good value for your money. Way over priced and the food is pretty subpar. seriously a bad burger joint in quality. read more

My husband and I went into this Applebee's in Longvview, WA on 8/25/2023 at around 1pm or so. We saw that there were many people waiting, at least a dozen or more. So we asked the hostess how long of a wait, we were a party of 2 with my husband in a wheelchair and she told us that it would be at least 30 minutes, we could see from the hostess station at the front door, that there a whole line of empty tables and booths that could have sat everybody that was waiting. The hostess was unhappy and somewhat rude, and there was another person at the door off to the side that was also in a wheelchair appeared to be an employee that seemed to be talking but couldn't understand what he was talking about. We didn't stay and wait. So can't tell you what the food was like, but just because of how we were greeted, the wait and all the empty table's with still a 30 minute wait. If you don't have enough help to accommodate the number of customers that are coming in maybe you should hire more people. read more

It's an Applebee's so you can't expect 5 star fancy fine dining, but for what it is, it's pretty good. Like you may expect, there are a few things on the menu that are pretty mediocre. But there are also some things that are really good! The wonton tacos, onion rings, grilled chicken Caesar Salad, and a few other things are enjoyable. I have been to this Applebees many times. Friday we went in and sat in the bar. The waitress did not come over one time. We had to grab a person bringing food out just to get a menu. 15 min later still no service. Terrible to just have a employee look at you and pretend to not see you. We left. read more

So it's 5:44 pm Wednesday night 8 seats at the bar are open along with 3 tables yet it's 2 a 10 to25 minute wait for the bar?????? No explanation, just that's the way it goes. Your hostesses are RUDE. Just complaining their soooo busy. The wait staff is soooo slow. Jeeze not their fault. Bartender KELLY and Caleb are AMZING 100% . Your welcoming committee leads a great deal to be desired. Note there's no signage to inform the guests that you have to wait to be seated at THE BAR!!! We watched other folks walk right into the bar fine a table and sit right down. It's been customary to walk in to the Bar area without waiting. At last it is in other restaurants bars in our area. Is it a prerequisite for your hostesses to be rude, sarcastic, and just pick randomly who they want to be seated in the bar area? If it is then you're in for a hugh law suite, for discrimination. I strongly suggest you have proper signage that indicates all seating areas must wait to be seated, or please wait to be seated including the Bar area. I recently started a Ketogenic (low carb) diet. The server assured us that we could get our burgers lettuce-wrapped. Instead, the ingredients came out between two leaves of lettuce. Red Robin (Columbia House Blvd, Vancouver) not only did an amazing job of wrapping their burgers in multiple leaves of lettuce, but also wrapped them in foil-lined sandwich paper. At Applebee's I had to re-wrap and re-assemble my burger before eating. In addition, we upgraded our fries to Caesar salad (because potatoes are high in carbohydrates) buuut the burgers came out with fries (and salads) anyway. The server apologized multiple times for including fries, blamed the kitchen for not knowing what sub[stitute] meant, and even referred to them a 'wretched fries', but apparently it would have been too much effort to remove them from the plate and actually ensure the plates are correct before bringing them to the table. This May have been related to the fact that four or five different people brought our food to the table. (One of which didn't realize the two burgers weren't identical, forcing us to explain that one was a bac'o cheese and the other was the Triple Bacon.) This was all after the server helicoptered our table while we were looking at our menus. If 4 people at a table are all reading their menus, there is no reason to walk up to the table, stand there for 5 seconds, and walk away... seven different times! On two or three occasions she did ask if we had questions, as well as whether we were ready to order... Overall, it was a high-pressure, disorganized, and needlessly tempting dining experience. Not exactly horrible, but not exactly what we paid for. read more

Just keep driving. It's the first Applebees that I have seen regulating there bar like there restaurant side, so be prepared on waiting to be seated. They can't seem to handle COVID regulations. The entire bar is dirty and needs to be sanitized and you're lucky if you see someone actually sanitize it. The entire bar was empty, meanwhile you're touching shoulder to shoulder with other customers in the lobby while you wait. I was told multiple times to move by a disgruntled employee even though she didn't even give me a comfortable place to wait nor a time frame of which we would seated. Please and thank you would go a long way in this establishment, but they seem to lack the common etiquette. read more

For years now, I took Applebee's out of my list of places to eat. It was always a disappointment. We were driving home from the beach. Not knowing much about the area we thought it would be better to eat at a restaurant chain. We were so glad we took the risk. We actually enjoyed our food. The servers were friendly and the service was quite fast. It's still definitely not a place for vegetarians. Hopefully they'll revisit their menu soon and maybe add some vegetarian dishes. read more
