Came here recently with a friend to grab some food before a movie. We saw that it had great Yelp reviews so we decided to stop by. We got an assortment of things including noodles, fried chicken, bahn mi, drinks, and some more goodies and everything was great! The interior design of the space was cute and the young guys working the counter were really friendly and were working hard, although it seemed like another person or two could've helped. A line started to build up and there were folks that were waiting on the restaurant side with no one to take orders because the guys were working on the froyo side. Also we didn't realize that the restaurant shares its space with a froyo place but if you decide to eat inside just be warned it's really, really cold in there! I really wanted to like this place, and even waited a couple of weeks before going in (so i could read the reviews first). I ordered the cajun garlic fries w bulgogi, and even asked for extra garlic. The fries had absolutely zero seasoning. I had to ask the nice cashier for some seasoning and she came to the table to pour some on, but nothing was coming out of the shaker. The bulgogi itself had no flavor, and if theres anything I hate its flavorless food. I gave the extra star because the mini hamburgers had good flavor. The pur bowls were selling more than the food so I'll probably try those next time. The garlic noodles were mediocre at best, but the chicken was rubbery. I cant justify the price for the food I ordered ($50), but would come back again to try the pur bowls. read more

This place is so bad! I walked into the shop and asked someone for a table, but they said this store only opens at 10 o'clock, but at that time it was already 9:59am. I had to go back outside the car to wait. When I ordered 2 servings of garlic noodles and bulgogi steak, I was really disappointed. Partly I eat at a restaurant, where you have to serve everything yourself. The staff's service attitude was really bad. I asked for a glass of cold water and she immediately signaled me where to put the glass and had to go get it myself. The takeout food was prepared at the same time as the food I ate at the restaurant and both were cold and very salty. Their attitude and service made me wonder what to do with the bowl I finished eating, should I leave it at the table or give it back to them? There aren't any signboards. This place is only good because it has comfortable and spacious seats. End! I dropped my wallet at the restaurant. I called back to ask them to hold it for me, but no one answered the phone. It was alright tbh. The wings were good but a bit more seasoning woulda been good. The shrimp it's a good size but it has the whole skin on it. I think it would be better if it was peeled bc the seasoning stays in the skin when you peel it. I'm curious to try the crawfish noodles and the sliders. UPDATE: Both of us spent the night sick. Eat here at your own risk. Freaking low class and disgusting. Had to circle around the place a few times because they only have one small sign pointing towards the street you are speeding by on. They're not listed on the strip mall's pillar sign and two of the three sides of the store have no signage and look like a bankruptcy or part of the renal center next door. Walk in to see one customer who only ordered a fountain drink and went back for half a dozen refills, maybe home challenged. Despite the lack of customers, the tables are filthy to the point that your arms and phones stick to them. The food looked good on the website and it's a new spot in Carson so decide to roll the dice anyway. Once we get our food, my date and I look at each other and immediately realize we crapped out. Notice an asian girl manning the chia and gluten free drink counter trying to look busy but prolly listening into our first impressions so quiet down and try to eat. Food is served in aluminum takeout containers (the bottom part) and placed on aluminum prison trays. Utensils are serve yourself and the super flimsy Midnight Mission variety. They were so floppy we had to opt for chopsticks. The crawfish pasta was run of the mill Trader Joe's linguine with tiny frozen crawfish bits. Theyspiced the hell out of it (to hide the true funky taste I'm sure). There wasn't a rib to be found in the short rib rice bowl, just literal scraps of grisly beef like substance and lots of lettuce and rice. Even the fountain drinks were flat. Inside was hot muggy and filled with stankonia. Only one other customer came in during the time we were there and he was from the clinic next door and had no other choice. He knew it and he looked pissed. This is the first time in a good long while we've come out of a restaurant and said what the F? Sure enough, the food ran right through us and we're both sitting on the can as I type. Next time, I'll stick with IKEA meatballs across the street. Damn. read more
