Very good Chinese/Japanese buffet. Excellent seafood and very good Sushi. Overall very good selection of food. Have eaten there now probably 40 times. read more

Omg absolutely disgusting.. never again. BATHROOMS almost had my 3 year old daughter throwing up . Very bad.

I love this place, although, it's not easy to find, but the taste of food will bring you back again. The raw fish is my favorite, all fresh and tasty, along with the fresh oyster and shrimp, also there are more choices of sea food like clams, steam fish, crab, and crawfish. The most important is the price is reasonable. read more

Ok so I had already had a terrible experience here in the past before the COVID ordeal with having hair in my food and then same day finding another hair on my plate for this reason I tried to speak to the manager and he shot me down and completely ignored my complaint helping other customers/victims and shushing me to be more quiet even though I was already speaking normally any quieter I would have been whispering after that I told myself I would never go back but a friend of mine ordered food from here not that long ago and I thought it was really good however yesterday 9/8/20 I called at 7:50 pm I ordered 3 pounds of the happy shrimp and cream cheese wontons they told me it would be twenty minutes but they never came or even called to say they weren't going to deliver they just never showed up after I repeatedly went over the address with them because I didn't want there to be any mistakes hands down they are rude and have terrible customer service skills I'm not sure how this place can afford to stay open if this is how they treat there customers read more

It's a awesome place to eat the sea food and the chow mein is awesome they're really good job with their flavors

Pictures are great! But the real question that everyone would like to know is what is the price for the buffet for lunch and dinner..

The food is alllll cold. You use paper plates and plastic forks . I guess for COVID but your food is falling off the plate. Paid $45 for 2 people and couldn't even finish the food. Waste of money. read more

Place is small...everything was clean...the servers were nice...the sushi was good...and the other variety of food was great!!! The desserts were good too. The food was warm and cooked right..will come again...it does get packed in the weekend especially in dinner time but other than that it is a pretty decent buffet read more

I travel all across the United States for work and this is by far one of the best Asian buffets I have been to!! read more

New King Buffet - Good buffet - Seafood Near Me - Ceres, California

Place could look better inside but other then that the food is very good. Everything is tasty and the fried items are crispy the way it should be. Well worth the price! read more

I love the one in Reno nv so I thought that I would give it a try. The food did not taste the same even though it looked the same and it gave me food poisoning. I will only return to the one in Reno. read more

Great price, good food. They constantly bring fresh food out. People must love it because it was super packed there. I will be coming back soon! read more

Price is reasonable food was delish and atmosphere is good. My only issue was they didn't offer icecream cones.

So grossing. The shrimp tastes so bad and unfresh. What is more, the other seafood also taste bad. I will never come back!!!

Out of all the buffets in the Modesto area, this is the best one. Their food is always fresh and hot (hasn't been sitting out for hours) and their sushi has gotten better. Lunch and dinner price are reasonable. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because the food is above the average of the typical Chinese food for the price you pay. read more

When it comes to Asian buffets, I favor the clams, crabs, and sushi. I've been here a few times and I love how we get seated right away. Recently, they removed those sectionals so now we can watch others eating. I find it a little cramped but anyways, the food is okay. The best part is the dessert because they actually serve tapioca pudding and different variety of ice cream, like Baskin Robbins style haha. read more

Excellent sea food buffet delicious variety and friendly staff! They were so busy but had no problem serving and checking to see if i needed anything else! I will definitely be returning again! Highly recommended! read more

This was the worst service with mediocre food. I waited thirty minutes for broccoli beef to be brought out and it never happened. I had a cup of soup and glass of water, which I charged $9.72 for. I was offered an insincere apology while she took my money. I should add that I asked about the broccoli beef about ten minutes after I realized they weren't refilling it. I would recommend you go somewhere else. read more

It my first time here. To begin we got our drinks when we were halfway done eating. The food was mediocre, I've had better. I went to try a new place out, but I will not be returning here. read more

Crab was pretty darn good! I also love the noodle station although service was a little slow there. Small, affordable, very busy on Sundays. I'd definitely return read more

I wish people would learn to keep perspective when writing reviews. For a buffet, this place has really good choices and quality as long as you're not there at random hours when normal people aren't eating and of course the food will be slightly less than fresh.. I know people have commented that the staff stares, but I think they're just attentive and obviously didn't grow up with American customs so they don't understand it might be slightly impolite. They are always around, but I've noticed it's more to ensure that drinks are refilled, plates are cleared, etc. We don't make a habit of going to the buffet, but this is one of only 2 or 3 we go to when we do. Dinner and Sundays all day are 11.99. Lunch is probably 9 or 10.. location is kind of hole in the wall, but way better than the others in Modesto.. read more

terrible food everything was cold nothing was hot literally nothing the worst buffet i have ever been to

I literally just got done eating here with my boyfriend. I don't expect much at a buffet, but this was absolutely horrible compared to all the buffets I've been to. First off, the chicken wings, beef, pork, almost every single entree is undercooked. For example, my boyfriends chicken wings were bloody on the inside. The rice is okay though, but the Lo Mein is VERY greasy. I am being honest when sharing my review about this restaurant and don't want others to go through the same experience and spend $11 on bad quality food that is once again, undercooked, greasy, processed, bloody, and possibly microwaved. I would not suggest this place to ANYONE. Save your money or go to the grocery store nearby like I should have, to cook a better dinner for 2 or even more! I am very unimpressed! If you don't believe me and want a stomach ache... Go for it. read more

ive been going here for about four years at first it was ok then it seemed to be better taken car of fresh wise. about a year ago we noticed the older lady is really really rude she and others seem to laugh stare and watch our every move they have added to my tab for a tip whitch is not right, and they bring out cold or warm red crab legs . tonight three of us men went for lunch called first was told 340 pm for crab so at 340 we arrived to a fresh pan we ate it up by us three and they told us no more crab today ... can u believe this crap? the lady said I ate mutch and held her hands out wide.... freakn rude good bye ill never go back... how do you have only one pan of crab ? im shocked don't know what happened here????? read more

I find this place to be the best if looking for good Chinese food. But I had a really scary experience there where a gentleman yelled at me with Really bad language-because I made a comment about his child trying to get ice cream. All I said was "Oh My" because I felt he was going to fall in the ice cream freezer he just flew off n started yelling at me. I went to my seat but he continued to be obnoxious. I did not feel safe. I think the restaurant should hv said something to him. Also they need to post that ice cream should be served by adults only or get soft serve. Always very unsanitary to hv to share the scoop when some child has it. Yuck!!!! read more

Really good food here! The best part of this buffet is their sushi! I love the spicy tuna roll and they're little bite size sushi rolls. Their chow mein is excellent as well. The only thing I don't really like is that their decor is very outdated and the waiters watch you like a hawk as you eat. There's a sign on the buffet windows that if you waste food you will be charged an extra $5 to your bill. Their green tea icecream is pretty good as well read more

This place use to be "exceptible" but I don't recommend it! Not only is the buffet neglected by the staff now, but there are broken booths, and it's at least fifteen $ to get sick. Bathrooms are iffy. Sorry to say all this. read more

I actually think the food here isn't that bad, especially price wise. It's a good mix of American food with Chinese. The only reason I'm giving this 4/5 is because of the staff, they don't really make you feel welcome, they stare you down while you eat, and it's damn near impossible to get a refill from them (the machine isn't accessible to customers). read more

I been going here for couple years, food is usually good but lately prices been going up like crazy, I used to pay $38 for 4 people & last night I payed $56 for 4 people, its crazy!!! & by the way staff seems to have stearing issues.I dont know if ill go back!!! read more

All in all great experience. Grabbed me some cream cheese rangoons, and they had crab meat in them... Not good for me, since I'm allergic to shellfish. The squid was really good. highly recommended! Quiet atmosphere, great for a date night. The food is to die for,... No pun intended. read more

Wow, with $6.5 for lunch you got all kind of seafood, all you can eat. shrimp, oyster, salmon, clam, calamari beside chinese dish like orange chicken, chicken pepper, pizza n desert. what else u can expect with $.6.5 ? the waiter removed your dirty dish very quickly and keep pouring you free refill drink. Excellent service ! Now this place is our favorite place to stop for either lunch or dinner before heading to yosemite NP. certainly 5x much better than the buffet in curry village yosemite read more

Really enjoyed eating here! Cheap buffet food, but didn't get sick and liked almost everything I ate! Only 4 stars, because the ice cream needs to be updated and switched out. read more

Good chinese buffet, good food & good price. I would recommend this place to people. Staff is nice and fast at getting your plates off the table. I would definitely be back here again. read more

Me and my boyfriend have been regulars here for a year and the food is in the middle, but its quick and cheap, and they do quickly refill and take your plates. I guess it's there culture to reach over your plate to grab others while your still eating and they kind of make you feel awkward and stare at you, but then again I guess it's just a different culture. Other than that, mediocre food read more

Clean, so good and tasty Chinese food, very nice service, and has a hefty choice of dishes.

Food was cold and tasted awful. Service was slow. They got upset because I didn't eat all the food on my plate. Sorry but it was gross. I had also gotten sick later that afternoon. Had stomach issues for at least 12 to 18 hours. read more

I went with my husband, 2 children and a toddler for dinner it came out to $44 the food is okay, no one came around to refill drinks. Good place if you like sushi, the workers look and act like they hate their job. read more

The price is mediocre but the food is worth the price. Especially in the Central Valley area. The place is hidden inside a plaza way in the back but people here is pretty nice and food comes out often nice and hot. All and all the taste is like any Asian buffet. I hope in the future there will be more Asian cuisine in Modesto because I miss a lot of it. read more

The food was AMAZING & the service was great as well. I definitely recommend it! The seafood is the best part.

The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. The food was good for the price. The chow mien and wanton soup was my favorite. I wasn't a big fan of the rice. It tasted a little plain to me and personally I'm not fond of having large chunks of onion in it. I love fried rice so that was a little disappointing and the only reason I gave them 3/5 stars instead of 4/5. Other than that the food was pretty good. I definitely recommend trying the WonTon soup, chow mein, and orange chicken. My two year old is a very picky eater at times and she was stuffing her mouth here and kept reaching onto our plates for more, so they definitely got my toddlers seal of approval! :) read more
