A hidden gem in Ceres. Refreshing micheladas. Try one with Modelo Negra. If you like spicy try their camarones à la diabla. Can't go wrong with the taco gobernador either. Service is always friendly and Mexican music is played throughout the day. read more

First time here and it was delicious! Had the tacos dorados de pollo, very crispy and flavorful!

Food is always amazing here all authentic Service we can't complain they are the best! Definitely recommend this place. P.S Micheladas are really good here. read more

Been coming here since we discovered it a couple three months ago and have tried different dishes and percent satisfaction 0 disappointments. The service is excellent!! Oh and their Flour tortillas are the bomb . I've had them at different restaurants and this is by far the BEST place for them. One down side about this is that the plate comes with ONLY 3 tortillas. This is the one and only thing I would change and offer unlimited for both Corn and Flout home made tortillas. read more

Delicioso! Everything I had was great. I ordered the camarones al mojo de ajo and they were outstanding. They were not skimpy on the garlic and to add a bit more zazz they add some chiles de arbol. Rice and beans were on point but the very very best were the handmade flour tortillas. You can find plenty of places that make handmade corn tortillas but flour, not so many. The server greeted us on entry even though he was busy cashing someone out. Got seated by the waitress who was very attentive. The place is no so fancy. Nothing cute or cozy, just a regular table and chairs kind of place but in a way that's even better. You're paying for great food and not their decor. Will most definitely be back and most definitely recommend. read more

Comida culichi 100% authentico muy buen servicio y la comida esta buenisima some of the most authentic Mexican food you can eat in the 209

I was looking forward to this place as I was basically basing it on the positive reviews, nonetheless it didn't meet those expectations. Customer service- the gal up front was not personable. We asked for certain sauces and she didn't give them to us (to go order). Food - the tacos and burritos we ordered were mediocre. Nothing spectacular, just meh I love ceviche and know it's cooked in lemon juice. I ordered the shrimp ceviche. When I got home I was disappointed to see that it looked like they just put it together with very little lemon, needless to say it was RAW and grey, and was soft and slimy. This is an illness waiting to happen. I threw it away $$ bye bye! I believe in second chas but when it has to do with food prep, one chance is all they get. I do not recommend this place, save your money. read more

I had the camarones a la diabla they were good and I was suprised when I saw the tortillas de harina are home made they were delicious

Customer service is horrible... the waitress can only do 1 thing at a time . Food is good but the service completely horrible It's sad because this business could be a money maker but they have to get rid of that waitress read more

We were in town for a wedding and found this gem. The posole was amazing and I rarely buy that at restaurants because I prefer home made posole. We bough two large orders and had unexpected company sooner than we expected. 5 of us ate from two large servings . Amazing and when I'm passing by or back in town I'll definitely be back. #Sinaloa Tierra de padre read more

The 7 mares soup was BOMB AF. Best one I've tried in the 209 that's for sure. I tried their posole a while ago and it's pretty good too.

Great ceviche! I've ordered a few things from here my favorites are the shrimp stuffed chilies (yellow ones), and the tostadas de ceviche! Huge portions on the tostadas 2 of those and you'll be full. The shrimp cocktails are very well served as well! read more

TERRIBLE . customer service was horrible but i was willing to look past that since i came to eat and not make friends . i ordered the aguachiles and it was gross . it had no flavor and the cucumbers were dried out . i couldn't even finish my food before i started to feel sick . i would never come back . read more

My family and I came here a few months ago just to try out something new. The food was great! My family and I ordered of all variety: burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tortas. However, the only thing that made me uncomfortable was the fact that the person who took our order just kept staring while my family and I ate. I just tried to ignore it and enjoy my food. After my family and I finished eating, my father paid and received his receipt. We even gave a tip to the girl who took our order. Once we left the restaurant and were on our way home, my mom realized that the girl had charged us for two tortas when my dad had only ordered one. Really enjoy the food, but felt uncomfortable and ripped off. For anyone wanting to try out this restaurant, I suggest to check your receipt, just in case. read more

Love the vampiros and the agua de cebada. Always delicious and the salsa is good too.

I had heard there was pretty good Mexican seafood restaurants in Modesto but after talking to some locals I chose this place. This is a whole in the wall kind of place but it's clean and the seafood very fresh and tasty! The sizes are big and they have several hot sauces to choose from. Definitely a place to try if you come here. read more

I have visited this location several times mainly for their cóctel de camarón y pulpo (shrimp and octopus cocktail). I have tried several other dishes and my impression is that the food at this location is quite good. I gave this location three stars because the service is abysmal and the every time I have visited they are absolutely blasting regional Mexican music. On one occasion I asked the waitress if she could please turn down the volume so I could try to have a conversation without having to shout, she agreed but then sadly forgot. read more

Been to this place various times and till this day it has not let me down. Authentic Sinaloense dishes all freshly made, gotta love the homemade tortillas corn/flour. Their salsa dips for your chips are great you can actually taste all the ingredients. The place itself is pretty small but it's clean, only thing Is that when it gets busy there's only one waitress that helps everyone but she does her best to accommodate everyone's needs. FYI she could use some help when the weekend comes by,hint hint!!! What else can I say, my drive from Stockton Is worth it 100%,i highly recommend this place if your looking for authenticity and more for your buck. read more

Location was clean. However, the shrimp cocktail had no flavor and had to peel most shrimp. The cocktail had more tomatoes and cucumber than any other shrimp cocktail I've ever had! read more

This is my favorite Mexican place ever! The ladies are so nice pure authentic Mexican food so delicious! Food is amazing the salsa and chips are tasty! read more

good food, loved the homade tortillas! I got a potato dish was amazing I asked for some sour cream on the side put the dish over the top. we also ordered a good fish, was juicy not over cooked. only thing was the a.c. is lacking or on a high temp, fans running high to try to move the air, it is 107 today so I would give them a break they don't own the building. we definitely will be back when the weather cools down. we got our order quickly too! read more

The food was good the service was good it just took a while for the food to arrive the price was a little high had same food much cheaper other places read more

I was just here on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered 5 tacos to go, and after waiting 20 minutes (per the time printed on my receipt) I asked the girl who helped me what was going on. She immediately told me, with no tone of apology, that they had a lot of orders... well, after waiting for 20 minutes I could clearly see there was NO WAY the kitchen was that busy (it's a small restaurant). However, instead of checking on my order or just saying sorry, she immediately offered me to give me my money back. She was SO RUDE and unapologetic, as if I should be SO GRATEFUL to pay $13.43 for FIVE TACOS. So, if you're reading this review, please spend your money where it is appreciated. Moreover, there was a small child 2-3 years old, literally running around in the kitchen. I should have known then to not spend my money here. The owners of this restaurant have no concern for the safety of their own child, so they surely don't care about the health and safety of their staff and restaurant. read more

Best seafood spot in town. Everything they make is full of authentic flavor. They give you plenty of food regardless of what you order. The tacos gobernadores are delicious as well as their appetizers. The ceviche is pretty good too and the micheladas are so refreshing. read more

It's a little hole in the wall. The food is fantastic, super tasty. I always get either camarones a la diabla or cóctel de camarón. The shrimp is always fresh and tasty. Also you always get homemade tortillas with your order!!! The only thing I would ding them on is service. Sometimes not the greatest or very unorganized but the food definitely makes up for it. read more
