Had Cajun Bento delivered through DoorDash and it was amazing. I got the chicken bento box and my 9-year-old ordered the short ribs. Delivery was fast, everything was packed neatly with all the utensils, and the food tasted really good. The only thing we didn't touch was the salad -- would've preferred romaine instead of the mesclun mix. But everything else was delicious. Just like everyone says, the garlic noodles are the best. Service was amazing! And the food was great too. We were the only ones dining in and the food came out fast. The only issue I have is we originally got a lb of head on shrimp and it was either overcooked or previously frozen because it was mushy and impossible to peel. I had to go order another pound of shrimp but I did the peeled one and it was good. Probably will be back when craving some Cajun. read more

This is a new spot across from Stan state with delicious food! I had the bento box with short ribs, and everything was very tasty and flavorful. Service was great and fast. It is a nice cozy spot where you can get a great meal. I am looking forward to coming back so that I can try more of their menu items. read more

I've been bummed since the closing of Pho Americana and thought no one could adequately fill their spot. A couple of co-workers suggested we try this new place. Judging by the name, I was prepared to be disappointed. But I have a sneaking suspicion that those involved with Pho Americana may have their hands in this one because that Banh Mi I ordered tasted just like the one they used to make, and thank the heavens for that because it was always the best Banh Mi anywhere. I really wanted to like this place. But I was a little shocked at how small the bags of seafood were. I made my own bag and got some noodles and it was about $100. I got 2 pounds of the crawfish with the Cajun sauce and medium spice. The crawfish were very big and the sauce was really flavorful! I've been to nearly most of the seafood boil places in the 209 as well as some of the more popular ones in the Bay Area. I'm happy to have one of these spots in Turlock. The sauce is very smooth and not thick so if you like a thicker sauce, you may want to try somewhere like Bag O Crab. I like Bag O Crab as well but this one has a different flavor profile so it just depends on what you are in the mood for!? My mom got the grilled chicken and garlic noodle bento box. She liked everything but she did not like the fries they put in there. I think if they replaced it with something else, it would make the box even better! read more

We've been here a few times, it's next to Stan state, the vibe is very chill and the service has been quick and professional every time. Food is always sooo good! We have gotten a few variations of the bento boxes as well as the banh mi sandwiches. We always have leftovers so we feel like you get your money's worth in food, and it's delicious. The garlic noodles were so yummy, the rice was cooked perfectly, the short ribs were so tender, the grilled beef was charbroiled perfectly, and the bahn mi was crispy and delicious. We live around the corner and we've been eyeing this location. We finally went today and everything was 10/10. The hostess was friendly and helpful with deciding what to order. The place was neat and clean, spotless actually (so was the restroom). Lastly, the food. We are a family of 6, and even my four pickey eating children ate their whole bento plate. This place recently went through a change of ownership and reblossomed as Cajun Bento. The menu is different but similar and the vibe is still very familiar. Where they massively improved is in service. We always liked meals here, but the wait for food was crazy even when the place was empty. Today we ordered a couple of different bentos and a bag of king crab and corn and even a to-go Bahn mi for a friend. Our dine-in food was in front of us in about 10 minutes and they held back making the sandwich until we were finishing up our meal. The Korean short ribs were spectacular, the king crab was moist and delicious. I'd like a little more dressing on the salad and the garlic noodles, but I'm nitpicking there. The service was friendly, informative and impeccable. This place will move into a a more frequent place on our rotation. read more

I went in today and got a half pound of crawfish, half pound of head on shrimp, and some sides (egg, potato, and corn). The seafood is definitely lower quality. Literally all the crawfish were small & had the eggs in them which grosses me out but could be personal preference and maybe it's just the time in the season. The heads on the shrimp were mushy. I also through the sauce was too runny to really coat the egg, potatoes and corn. The service was great however. The lady at the front helped me decide what to order and was very friendly. I tried the Bento box , i must say it's good size portion and good quality food, but the reason I will be returning is not just because the food but because the outstanding ,welcoming service I received from my server Tiffany! She treated me with patience and kindess (I think she could tell I was having a bad day) she completely made my day better by taking the extra mile to give me some words of encouragement and I'm really grateful that there is people like her that go above and beyond. My husband and I wanted to try something we don't normally eat & I found this place on yelp. So glad we tried it because it was delicious. We each got a Bahn Mi with pork and we shared some buffalo chicken wings & fried shrimp. The sandwiches were so flavorful; the meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the produce was fresh and the bread... THE BREAD was incredible! It was so soft on the inside but the outside was crisp and almost flaky. It was so damn good. The wings were also excellent, cooked just right, and the shrimp didn't disappoint. We had a great late lunch and got to sit outside while the weather was beautiful. We'll be back for sure! read more
