    Pork Sliders

Hey, there is a lot to unpack here. Total different vibe for Turlock. It appears that they want to attract a younger crowd. I saw many younger folks at dinner and that's a good thing. They need a hip place to go, and this just might be it. I went in during the day to make reservations and noticed the loud, techno music. A few folks were having lunch, and I have no idea why they would want to blast that music during the day. Weird. Came back with wife and daughter for dinner and they were still blasting the music. I think I could deal with the music if it wasn't so loud. I had to ask my wife and daughter several times what they said. They really need to tone it down a bit. The atmosphere would be perfect for jazz. I mean it's great having loud music when you're drinking and dancing but when you are trying to enjoy dinner and company it doesn't work. I ran into a friend who used to go to Toscanos quite a bit and he told me he won't go back because of the loud music. I really think that the restaurant will lose a lot of the older crowd, and it will be interesting to see if the younger crowd will be able to support them. Now let's get to the food. It's more of a plate share type restaurant. Everyone can order something and there is enough for everyone to share. Good concept and we enjoyed it. Next time we won't order so much food!!! We had the pork sliders which were crispy with a very nice slaw. Enjoyed those. Pasta trio was excellent. Cheesy and the pasta was cooked perfect. I thought the steak bites were cooked a bit much, but the flavor was excellent. Brussel sprouts were delicious as was the broccoli. You pay $5 for the bread but they give you plenty with a nice herb butter. Mallory was our server, and she did an excellent job. Friendly, polite and always had a smile on her face. The gentleman at the desk who helped out was on the ball. Friendly and welcoming. He helped bus the table. They've done a fantastic job on the remodel. Very nice atmosphere. Hey, we will definitely go back. I really hope they lower the sound level. I hope they succeed as Turlock desperately needs a place like this. Oh, and it was my wife's birthday, and they gave us a FREE celebration cake and ice cream. Very nice touch and much appreciated.

Caesar Salad, good for one person... but shareable too. It's about your appetite

Wife and I went to this new restaurant last night, we used to go there when it was Toscana's. Glad they are trying something different. The menu needed changing, even though it was fabulous food, like I said change was needed. Walked in, first thought, like Toscana's before, I didn't know where to check in and get greeted. I think the hostess desk should be moved closer to the door. Loved the new look though, mix of cozy colors and lighting with cool recent music. Got seated quickly and felt like the staff was happy to see us. Our waiter had been here since it was Toscana's, so he remembered us. That was kinda cool. Told us about the changes and how the owners traveled throughout the country to get ideas for the changes. To start, wife ordered a Dirty Martini (her go to at Toscana's). Loved it but missed the blue cheese filled olives, bring those back lol. I ordered off the drink menu. Don't remember the name but it was a coconut/rum drink. Adele has a title of a song that goes with it. Loved the drink, tasted great. Perfect amount of alcohol to taste ratio. I love bread at a restaurant, something about bread will tell me if I will like the place right from the beginning. The bread was warm, not too much which was great, cause I could have ate that all night... the butter spread is to die for!!! Ordered half dozen oysters, I usually stay away from fish since we're about 2 hours away from the ocean, too risky. BUT, the fish is brought in daily from Ohana Seafood market. I trust them, they do daily runs to the coast to supply restaurants with quality seafood. I enjoyed the oysters, the sauces and lemon wedges that came with them and the size of the oysters were perfect. Next we shared a Caesar salad, nothing special.. it was a Caesar salad. Needed to add more pepper, but this is just a preference thing for me. Size was good for one person, but we were going out after, and didn't want to get super full so we shared that. Haha Main course. She had the Ahi Tuna, oh my god, it looked amazing. Great portion. She never finishes her meal so I couldn't wait to dig in. It tasted as good as it looked and we also got some side sauces to dip into which tasted amazing. I love sauces, my fridge has more condiments than groceries. I had the lobster tacos. I was a little disappointed since I felt the ratio of filling wasn't enough for the fried tortilla. The waiter asked my opinion, so I didn't hold back. He totally understood. He came back with two more tacos that were filled a little more. PERFECT! That was the right ratio, I can eat them all night. We looked at the dessert menu, we were too full. Next time!! Waiter, great! Owner/manager came by, loved that. Place is clean, great music, tasty drinks, different choices in food then anywhere else locally, fresh fish, looks amazing inside. Give them a chance, just opened, working out the kinks. Definitely will return. See pictures!

Amazing experience. We seated 13 people and the waiter (Anthony) took great care of us. Food was delicious. We ordered the Pasta Trio, Lollipop Chicken and Sweet Potato Wedges. 10/10! Would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about this place. From the moment we walked in, the experience was flawless. The food was incredible my absolute favorite was the prawns, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Everything we tried was delicious. Our server Kirk was amazing, kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. He made everything easy and enjoyable without ever feeling rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests. And then... Mallory, the bartender. I'm extremely picky about my dirty martinis, and hers was right up there with the one I had at the Four Seasons a couple months ago. Perfectly smooth, icy cold, beautifully balanced exactly how I like it. And don't even get me started on the pumpkin espresso martini absolutely to die for. She was darling, came by our table just to make sure we were loving our drinks. One or two who's counting martinis later, we were absolutely sold. The vibe is stunning, gorgeous, upscale, yet totally low-key. I honestly felt like I was on vacation. We've hands down found our new spot. This is our place. Can't wait to come back and tell all of our friends.

We were excited to try a new spot in Turlock, and Atrium definitely delivered. The atmosphere is fresh and inviting, and the service was top-notch from the moment we walked in. Mallory, our bartender, was fabulous. Hands down the best spicy margarita in town, and the pumpkin spice martini is to die for. She's officially our go-to bartender and best of all, they're open on Mondays, so you already know where we'll be starting our week! Our server, Kirk, was amazing as well super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend checking out Atrium. Turlock finally has another great place with good drinks, good vibes, and great service. We'll definitely be back!

The service was great. But sadly to say the coffee I got wasn't. I asked for the Dubai mocha, And I got something totally different. They didn't put the pistachio cream in it. And instead of giving me kataifi shredding I got coconut shredding. It was not worth the $11 I paid. First and last time sadly.

Only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because of the wait, we were told 5-10 minutes for a table and ended up waiting 45 min - 1 hr although we were the only party waiting for a table. Food was delicious, not a fan of the belini with white fish caviar, shrimp alfredo flatbread was yummy, as well as the new york steak, fries, pasta trio and lobster tacos.

    Lychee Martina and Redbull Tito's

This restaurant has exceeded every expectation. The steak was prepared to a true medium rare with a perfect sear giving it a tender, flavorful center that showed the quality of the meat. The appetizers and shareables are a highlight in their own right... beautifully presented, balanced in flavor, and ideal for starting the meal on a high note. What impresses me most is the consistency. Whether visiting on a weekday or weekend, each experience has delivered the same level of excellence across food, cocktails, and service. Cassidy and the staff have only shown true genuine hospitality, offering attentive yet unintrusive service that enhances the overall dining experience. It is rare to find a restaurant so new that already feels this refined and dependable. With no shortcomings to speak of, this has quickly become my preferred dining destination.

The food was always top notch! After the first ownership change, it seemed to have lost it's value a bit. I went last year and I'm not sure who was the owner at that time, but it seemed to be back up to par. A few weeks ago, some girlfriends and myself stopped by for dinner and drinks. My friend wanted an indigeny and we were told they were out and that the menu was most likely inaccurate regarding beers, due to how often they change them. She wanted a cider and was told dustbowl strawberry margarita is a cider. It is in fact a seltzer and not what she wanted. I asked for a mango mojito and was told they were out of mint. I'd decided to order anyway and when the drink arrived, it was not flavored at all. I asked if it was mango and he said no and went to change it, saying the bartender got mixed up. While it was better as mango, a mojito needs mint. One of my friends ordered fries and what came to the table was not what we would consider fries. It was slices of potato and I didn't find it to have much seasoning. Another friend ordered arancini and an artichoke, while the last friend ordered arancini with tomato sauce on the side. Her arancini arrived with the tomato sauce on the bowl and not on side as requested and the waiter took it back to fix it. The artichoke was not cleaned, leaving the choke (fuzzy part) in the middle and my friend had started to eat it. At $18 for an artichoke, it should be cleaned correctly. The anancini were tasty and I enjoyed both the tomato and the pesto sauce that accompanied it. Before we ordered our mains, the waiter came back to say they were out of burgers and the cut of steak for both the black and bleu and the Jack Daniel's steaks, but could sub a ribeye instead. Ribeyes were market price vs the $37 of those 2 items. I was going to get the black and bleu, but then decided I would try to fish of the day. It was a white fish with a cream sauce and baby shrimp over mashed potatoes and green beans and I thought it was done very well. The fish was flaky, the mash creamy and the green beans had just enough bite! I ended up ordering another drink, but opted for wine to make it more simple. One of my friends had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and she thought it was OK. While I had hoped for a better experience, I will probably return to see if things are the same or they were just having an off day.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted right away and promptly seated (I had a reservation, but honestly didn't need one around 8:30pm--there were several tables open). For drinks, I ordered the 1915 Elder Fashioned ($20) and my wife had the Peaches and Dreams ($20). Both cocktails were perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious. We started with the Argentine empanadas served with bone marrow and chimichurri--two good-sized empanadas for $24. Great flavor and a solid way to kick things off. For my entrée, I ordered the hanger steak cooked medium--it came out perfect. It was served with Roth Fries, which might honestly be the best garlic fries I've had in a long time. Fresh garlic, Parmesan, parsley... just done right. The steak was topped with chimichurri and came with two dipping sauces--everything worked. My wife ordered the Kung Pao Street Noodles with grilled prawns ($36), and she loved it. Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a standout experience. Our waitress, Janet, was amazing--super attentive and helpful. Whenever I asked about dishes I saw coming out, she was more than happy to explain them. We'll definitely be back.
