So had some issues back when they installed our windows. They left glass all over the exterior of our home. One of the workers was sent back twice to clean up. Now the current day issue is we were never given a copy of our final invoice. We're at a point where we need a copy, and it's pretty urgent. I called and spoke to Jeff. They fix one but one window leaks ever rainy season. They came once but the last time I contacted them was nov' 22 and spoke with a worker called Chris. Chris told me he'll put me on the calendar and they'll give me a call that never came. From the first contact with the salesman, until the last bit of installation I have been very happy. The response to all my questions has been taken care of by the office manager Diane. She is the rockstar here. There have been a few hiccups but she has responded with complete honesty and transparency that you usually don't encounter with most businesses. I LOVE my new windows! I'm very pleased with quality and the way they were installed. Everything was cleaned up when they were done. The installers went up and above to complete the Installation in one day. Even staying until dark to finish. Each gentleman was very good at their job. Professional and exactly the people who you would hope would do your install. They have been doing this forever I can tell! Israel, Sam, Augie, & Jeff (Jones) were the installers. I hung around to watch the installation and these guys work so well together I honestly think the job went smoother because they are a tight unit. Thanks guys! In May of 2021 we hired New Appearance Windows to replace 20 windows in our home. Our old windows were the originals and were over 30 years old. They NEVER leaked. Living in Southern California we rarely get a lot of rain. On December 24, 2021 we had a huge rainstorm and noticed that two windows were leaking. Our shutters have been damaged due to the water leak. After a few days (understandable due to the holidays) Jeff sent a crew out and they resealed the windows and drilled new drain holes. A few weeks later we got another rain storm and one of the windows was leaking again. When the crew came out again they told us it was because of the pre-existing patio cover. We called the owner again and when he came out, he and my husband sprayed the window from under the patio cover, proving that was not the issue. They ended up pulling out the window and there was visible water in the framing. One of the crew members told us we should contact insurance. They reinstalled the window and refoamed it. Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2022. The same window and now the kitchen window are leaking, which is not under the patio cover. We have had to call multiple times to try and get someone to come take a look and so far no luck. When we called right after Thanksgiving the gentleman we spoke to said he would add us and call us back, never did. When we have called the phone rings and then gets forwarded and then hangs up. My husband emailed and got a response that they would be out 12/16 after 2pm and they were a no show, no call. When I say that the window leaks, it is not just drips. We have to use beach towels to dry the floor and roll them up on the window sill to keep the water from getting in. We shouldn't have to worry about brand new windows leaking each time it rains. So to be continued... maybe this will get some attention read more

I called this company agy and Jeff answered and he will call back. He did gave me a quote and I told him I will need a total of 14 windows and a sliding door. He promised me he will check his schedule next morning and call me back for a homesite visit. Well again no call back no appointment. A business that doesn't follow up are not worthy of your business. Now I found a new company who responds when called and follows up. read more

Our experience with New Appearance Windows (and doors) was fantastic. They installed several large doors in my dad's house. He had such a good experience with them that he provided me with Shawn's contact information. Shawn was very helpful. As soon as I called him about our interest in French doors, we scheduled an appointment for him to measure our space and discuss our options. The frame we wanted to add doors to was unusually small for French doors. Shawn was able to contact the manufacturer directly. Despite the fact that the doors are smaller than their minimum requirement, they agreed to build the doors for us. The installation was quick and easy. And, the installation crew was very good about cleaning up before they left. Our doors are beautiful and they are very good and keeping out the summer heat and noises from outside. We are completely happy with our new windows purchased from New Appearance Windows. The installers showed up on time and stayed until the job was complete. They left the areas of my house clean like they found them. They installed a total of 6 windows, three in the room in the photo and three identical ones downstairs. Jeff was fair in his pricing, he wasn't priced the lowest, but we felt confident using his company over the other companies that provided us with a quote. I should add the old windows purchased from (Quality Home exteriors were leaking please don't use them, worst company ever) Jeff's crew had to break the concrete around the windows and install them as if it was new construction. I love how Audrey handled customer service. She is very professional and calm. My window order got delayed to a date that I can't accept. I need to move in the place and get my kids settled before the school starts. Audrey and Jeff tried different options to make it work for us. I really appreciate their hard work. Saw their ad the following week , decided to try them again, maybe it was a mistake when they hung up on me. Got a quick appointment for the following day. The response from New Appearance Windows is completely inconsistent with the facts and chronology. The only consistent element in their response is their seemingly endless ability to make excuses for their inability to perform. First, I'll address Jeff's claim that we called a week after the installation to let them know about the window that wouldn't open. That is false. We called the very next morning to let them know about the window. A young girl, who sounded like she was junior high age, answered the phone. We told her about the window that wouldn't open. She said that she would let the receptionist know. Because we didn't have confidence that our issue was being handled we called again the next day and spoke with the receptionist who told us Jeff was in the hospital having minor surgery and wouldn't return for a week. She said she would call the manufacturer and submit a warranty claim. Not hearing back from her or the manufacturer, we called their office the following Monday to speak to Jeff after his return from surgery. I presumed that the man whose livelihood depends upon the success of this business would take our issue with great concern and have it resolved immediately. I was wrong. As soon as we were able to get a hold of Jeff and explain to him what the issue was he handed the telephone to Susan the sales rep, who after hearing why we were calling handed the phone to the receptionist. The secretary told us the same thing she had the week before, which was that she would call the window manufacturer and schedule a warranty repair. I'm pretty sure this phone call is the one that Jeff references as our initial phone call to his office regarding this issue. Apparently they don't use a call log when the boss is away. They didn't pay attention to our concerns until we posted our review of their work here on Yelp. The day after the Yelp review posted we received a voice message from Susan, the sales rep who sold us the windows. She spent several minutes expressing how deep her remorse was and how angry she was at the office staff for letting it fall through the cracks. She went on to say that she was going to advocate for the firing of one of their employees for dropping the ball. She also mentioned that had she been aware of the issue at any time it would have been handled immediately. Apparently she forgot about Jeff handing the phone to her, and then her handing the phone to the receptionist. Stay away. These people are pathetic. Side Note: We contacted the window manufacturer, they scheduled an appointment, It took them 10 minutes to fix the window. read more

This is our second time working with this company. Previously it had another name-but still the same owners I believe. They did an amazing job before with some very odd windows facing the freeway that were retrofitted. This time it was the sliding patio door at our son's condo that was installed with the screen on the inside?? From the 80s when it was built. We got a beautiful new slider that doesn't let the dirt in and has more than just the lock in the handle-which our son really appreciates having the extra security locks. We got a fair price for a custom made door and professional installation. We are very happy and look forward to replacing the last two windows in the near future. read more

They helped us with are hero financing and the process way seamless. Got a quote on October 20th. Was told that installation will take place in about 3 weeks. After placing the order(and paying the deposit) was informed that installation will be in January. Service during installation was OK. One window was cracked when installed. Was told by the installer that they'll place an order for a new one and window will be replaced in "a couple of week". Waited about 5 weeks and called them for status. The order for replacement was placed after I called them (based on the email I got). 3-4 weeks later, got a call to schedule installation. had to take the day off from work to be at home. Installers showed up with the wrong size window. They re-measured the window and said they'll place an order and should have the replacement in 3 weeks. Got a call after 3-4 weeks to schedule installation. They showed up with the wrong size window THE SECOND TIME. They re-measured the window (this is the second time) and said the replacement will arrive in 3 weeks. Waited 3 weeks and called New Appearance for status. Was told they'll check status and call be back the next day. Waited 5 days but did not get a call back. Called them again and left a message but still did not get a call back. Called them a THIRD time and was told that order for replacement was placed the day prior to my third call (three weeks after it should have been placed). Have to wait three to four weeks for the installation. This will be 5 MONTHS since the installation. Hoping they'll bring the right size window this time. read more
