From the beginning, install was late and took longer than expected. They put in a larger window in the kitchen and semi patched the edges which I had to repair. They broke and damaged my counter top four months ago. They filled in gap with a bright gray non matching material. They did not put grout in tile where sliding door was installed. I have repeatedly asked for assistance and they have still not completed this. We paid almost 40k and this is the treatment we are getting. I have tried calling and getting updates but am now forced to file a complaint. read more

In giving us our free estimate, owner, Rick, arrived in a timely manner. He was professional, personable, and courteous. His price significantly beat the competition. His team was in contact with us often and the Anlin slider door was installed on time, professionally, and cleanly. However, that's not all. When I had a question about a year later, I emailed Rick and he got right back to me. Our kids had leaned on the screen a lot and eventually tore it. Rick got *right* back to me, explained that screens aren't covered, but he made a recommendation. About a year after that, I asked him about changing the deadbolt on the slider for one that locks with a key (my kids have figured out how to circumvent the deadbolt). He took the question immediately to Anlin and the answer is pending. My point is that the entire experience has been smooth and United Builders follows through with you *even years after installing only a single window*. We chose United Builders for our slider after another company approached us and sold us on the product. After installation, it was clear they made promises they would not follow through with. When it was time to replace our slider, we contact the same company, but said no to their slider price. Their salesman left in an unprofessional huff. So we called United Builders and have never looked back. Whatever our next project may be with windows, it would be with United Builders. read more

My wife and I had initially hired a different (closer) company for one of three sliding doors we wanted installed and had a nightmare experience of months-long delays and general shadiness. Once the dust settled, we had our sliding door and a few more stress lines. So we sought out United Builders for the remaining two doors. Their whole process was easy, direct and high-quality. They came to our house and even inspected the other guys' work to A) make sure it'd been installed correctly and B) make sure the two new doors matched the aesthetic of the first one.
