Recently I have had my whole house windows replaced by Silver Lining Restoration, total 21 in count. They completed the installation in 2 days and keep the works clean and neat. I am very satisfied on their workmanship, very professional and skillful. The owner Maribel is very supportive and responsive to my questions and request. She has offered me competitive price so she got my business. I would definitely introduce to my friends when they need windows replacement. read more

So the nightmare continues a year later! When we thought we were done with this company. A year later we come to find we are paying for an outrageous electricity bill! We are so beyond pissed! We have solar and we found out their electrician turned off our solar and we had no idea until we got a bill in the mail a year later! Such a waste of money! Now we are stuck paying this all back! read more

Replied on first contact when I asked for a quote. They stopped replying after follow up questions. A simple " we are too busy " or " we cant service you" would suffice. I ended up using someone else that replied quick and showed up on time. read more

Tried to set up an appointment for replacement or repair of 2 windows in my house. After a week of back and forth I took time off work for a 9 am appt. At 9:15 I asked where the tech was..... 'oh we canceled that appt', 'we have a minimum of 3 windows'. very poor customer service. They use spam texting and AI chat bots to try and get new clients, once they get someone they cancel the appointment? great plan guys. Use someone else. read more

We just had an outstanding experience with Silver Lining Windows & Doors from start to finish. They responded to our Yelp inquiry the same day, and we quickly scheduled an appointment with Maribel. She arrived with a sample retrofit window, answered all of our questions, clearly explained the process, and provided a fair, no-pressure quote that was fully in line with and/or better than other quotes we received. We especially appreciated that this is a small, family owned, business, and that in addition to being an owner and primary point of contact, Maribel shared that she also had an active contractors license. Once we decided to move forward with Silver Lining, everything happened exactly as promised (and incredibly fast, which was also important to us, given availability on summer break). Exact measurements were taken promptly, the retrofit windows were custom ordered, and the installation team replaced all six windows in a single day. The communication, professionalism, payment process, and quality of work of all team members were A+ throughout the entire process. We're so happy with how the new windows look both inside and out that we've already contacted Silver Lining to replace the rest of our street-facing and kitchen windows. Highly recommend! read more

Pretty much everything. We had 9 original (1955) crank out steel frame windows and 7 1970's aluminum frame windows and a 5' x 7' aluminum patio sliding glass door (1970's) replaced. Did the demo and install in one day. Once we signed the contract the installers ( they actually make the windows ) came out to remeasure on a Sunday and did the installation the following Saturday. Great group of folks to work with. read more

Maribel and Sergio made the process easy. The price-point was super fair, especially considering that my miuntain home required the window glass to be tempered and my new windows look amazing! 10/10 recommend! read more

We need to replace our sliding glass patio door. Our old door was very outdated and did not keep flys or other insects away. We contacted Silver Lining for our quote and they were very quick. They came out the next day to measure and gave us a very competitive quote. Installation day was even smoother. Sergio and one other person were very efficient, transparent, and did an amazing job with our door. We will be using Silver Lining for all of our future window or door needs! read more

We had eight windows and a sliding door replaced. It's made a huge difference in keeping the house cool and quiet. It is SO hard reading through online reviews, asking family & friends about where to get new windows! Look NO FURTHER! 100% hands down, theee BEST experience from beginning to completion. Maribel came out and we talked about what I wanted, and expected. After initial consult, I received my quote and was blown away! 10 windows to be replaced at an AMAZING price... My previous were from 1961 so the change was dramatic. Sergio and his team were on time, professional & had it all done in ONE day! I got 4 quotes for 6 windows, and while another company also had a good price, this one stood out because they responded the fastest and were the easiest to work with. Maribel gave a clear, fair quote with no upselling, and the whole team was professional from start to finish--emails, quoting, installation, and even the contract and payment process were simple. The crew did a clean install, the windows look great, and it saved me a ton of time compared to doing it myself. As a handyman/DIY guy, I really appreciated the quality and efficiency. I was not happy with the service. They guaranteed a job and were not able to complete it due to our HOA rules .. they require for Company's to have Workers Comp ins for workers before they step in to your property. We had given a deposit and when we had to cancel the order they did not refund the deposit. I don't believe with a week or so windows were in production. What a scam. Shame on them and the owner ceo whatever she is Maribel. Speaking to other company's a refund should have been given back to the customer. She guaranteed a job and she wasn't able to complete. read more

I got three quotes for replacing my windows. Silver linings came in with the best quote , but that is not what made me decide to go with them. The first meeting I had was so successful. Maribel, the professional that came to my home was so down to earth, and practical. I never felt any sales pressure from her. And I really appreciated that. She was extremely helpful in choosing what windows would work best for my home. The whole process was so smooth from intro to installation. Her team was great and left my place spotless. We recently moved into a home that had a very small patio door (approximately 5ft) that was in bad shape. When reviewing our list of renovations, this was an item of primary concern that we wanted addressed right away. From beginning to end, from the first Yelp message sent to the in person estimate and remeasure and finally the installation, we could not have asked for a smoother and wonderful process. Initially we considered the idea of knocking out our window and patio door to combine it to one large patio door to allow for more openness. However, due structural challenges, we could not follow through. David worked with us in developing the next best option: beautiful French doors that would really elevate and open up the space. From when the order was placed to production completion was about 8 weeks and totally worth it once we saw the quality of the craftsmanship: absolutely stunning! The way the French doors have beautified our great room/patio is indescribable. The pricing was very fair and competitive and we will be reaching out to Silver Lining Restoration in the future for another French door project in our master bedroom. Maribel, David, Jennifer, Sergio, Arturo and everyone else who made this happen for us- thank you so much! Your work is incredible and we are so in love with our new French doors! read more

Our house needed new windows as they were original single-pane and not only let in debris, dirt, dust, and heat/cold, but would shake and rattle violently during high wind days. After meeting with David we were pleased with his professionalism, answered all of our questions, and liked the quality of window samples he brought. We were planning for an estimated installation within the month of July but was shocked when David said the windows were ready after only 1 1/2 weeks. We made it work with our schedule and the crew really worked hard, even accommodating me on the first day and stopping installation when I had to leave for the evening. For most of the second day it was only Sergio working and he was even able to get our new sliding glass door installed on his own and it looks fantastic. The difference inside the house was immediate. Our thermostat no longer runs continuously trying to reach its target temperature and we can barely hear outside noise to the point it started raining Thursday afternoon and I had no idea until I heard thunder. I love the new windows and door, and I highly recommend this company. We plan on using them for other future home improvement projects. read more

We recently moved into our home which had the original windows.. The windows were old so you could hear the street noise, the house would get very hot and we would struggle to open the windows. We messaged Silver Lining and David came to our home. He spoke with my husband about the entire process.. Answered all of his questions.. and my questions.. took all measurements and informed me he would email me a quote.. We decided to go with Silver Lining because they gave us the quickest turn around time for windows, they gave us the most reasonable price for the job.. and they were very communicative about the process. I am so happy with my new windows. My house looks like it got a facelift. My neighbors have noticed how different our home looks and they are encouraged to change their windows as well. But i also notice a significant difference With the outside noise and the heat (temps have been In the 100's this week).. This company is overwhelmed, too busy and will let you know that your business is not important. Other then the installer who was fantastic I would not recommend them. Everytime I called them for a follow up they would tell me how busy they are and could not give me an istall date for a sliding glass door. Finally I told them to cancel the order because they could not perform. The did not return my calls and never followed up on my request for a window as well because the were "too busy". read more

Chose Silver Lining Restoration for windows after shopping with 5 or 6 other companies. Our first interaction with David was perfect. He didn't sell us anything we didn't need or want and gave us exactly the information that was pertinent to the job. After going over prices, I was shocked at how much cheaper they were, but as summer approached, we needed new windows desperately. We even wanted to cut some of the wall in our master to make for a more sensible window, and 4 of the companies said they couldn't even do every window in the house let alone that piece! We initially had a bit of trouble scheduling the windows, but once we got it all hammered out, Sergio and his team showed up on time and ready to work, and within 2 days, they put up and sealed every window. The cut part of the window sill? Sergio himself not only patched it, but also textured and painted it, and the color matched exactly! I was shocked at how professional, smooth, and quickly the install went. The windows themselves are high quality too! They open and close easily, and I was actually a bit worried the first night because they blocked so much of the outside noise, and got a bit cold a few days later because the heat was blocked so well. I cannot recommend them enough. An absolute masterclass in service and quality throughout the process. read more
