I recently moved in to my new home last week and quickly found out how much noise I have behind my home so much so that I couldn't get almost a week's worth of good sleep. I immediately did some research for possible window installment and came across this company that was near by. When I called, the person on the phone was really nice and helpful. Very empathetic of my situation and did her best to schedule the earliest time possible which I truly appreciated. I liked how I received an email the day before as a reminder of my upcoming appointment which is always helpful. I met with Danny, the owner of this company, today. He was prompt, polite, and considerate. We had a quick discussion as to my situation and quickly got to work at inspecting the focal room and windows I have. He gave very detailed explanation of what I'm looking at to help me understand and was honest about my options. Unfortunately, in my case, it was explained to me that because of the type of windows I already have if I were to get a specific type of window upgrade installed I'd be wasting my money with very little improvement in noise reduction. Instead he offered multiple suggestions I could look into that could help. I am extremely grateful that he was able to squeeze this appointment in for me and for his honest assessment. Danny seems to enjoy what he does and is very knowledgeable about it. Thank you to AWC for great service. I will definitely be bookmarking this place for future needs or referrals. read more

American Window Company - Windows Installation Near Me - Chino, California

Here's an update after American Window Company installed my windows. After placing our order, we were contacted to schedule the installation right around the estimated delivery time which was about six weeks later. Danny and his team stayed in touch throughout the process, providing updates and answering any questions we had. The installation crew was professional, friendly, and clearly experienced. Just watching them work, I could tell this was not a DIY level job. Having professionals made a huge difference. They communicated any (very few) unexpected challenges, came up with solid solutions, and took care of the extra work without any hassle. They completed the installation of 13 windows in a single day, as estimated, and left the house spotless afterward. What really stood out to me was their attention to detail. They were the ones who noticed a flaw in one of the newly installed windows and immediately ordered a replacement under warranty. Later, when I followed up with Danny about another possible issue I spotted, he responded quickly and arranged for that one to be replaced as well. All in all, these guys were amazing. I can't imagine trying to take on this project myself. Even if I had spent weeks or months trying to DIY it, it still wouldn't have come out this well. The time, effort, and stress saved by hiring pros was absolutely worth it! read more

On 7/8...Danny came to give us a quote for the window replacement. He said that he will get back to us on the door quote in the afternoon. No answer, no email for 2 days. I call the office to follow up, 2 days later we received a link for the door quote, but link didn't work. So I replied the email, and also followed up with a phone call let them know the issue we had, and request a phone call back from Danny...it's been a week, haven't heard anything back. My question is: if you as a business owner doesn't bother to follow through on the customer, why bother come out to take the measurements? It's a waste of your time and my time!!! read more

When I was researching companies for my house window replacement, American Window Company stood out as one of the top-rated local companies, and I had a very positive experience working with them. Josh was my main point of contact throughout the quotation process. He was transparent with the pricing, incredibly patient, and took the time to address all of my questions and concerns. I made several changes while comparing different window options, and he was always responsive and willing to revise the quote. I really appreciated how he worked with customers. I was also impressed by the owner's knowledge. Danny clearly has many years of experience in the window industry, and it showed in the way he explained the different window products, installation methods, and the pros and cons of each option. His advice was informative and helped me better understand the available options. Overall, I had an excellent experience during the consultation and quotation process with American Window Company. They were knowledgeable, professional, and customer-focused. read more

Awesome company, great service very professional and kind. Great prices and prompt service. Mr. Danny is the man!!!

I'm new to the area and have been relying heavily on Yelp to find trustworthy companies so I really wanted to take a moment to share my experience with American Window Company in Chino. The owner personally came out to give me an estimate and from the start he was incredibly honest, patient, and helpful. He took the time to measure all my windows thoroughly and walked me through my options without any pressure or upselling. As a woman and a mom, I'll admit I usually dread getting estimates because so many times you feel taken advantage of when you're not familiar with the field or what a fair price should be. This experience was completely different. What really stood out to me was his integrity. He genuinely gave me advice based on what made sense for my home and family..not what would make him the most money. He even noticed that my boys play baseball on the side of the house where my broken windows are and recommended tempered glass so they won't break as easily. He literally said, "Let kids be kids," and that really stuck with me. That mindset made me feel like he was looking out for us, not just making a sale. If you're looking for a company that's honest, knowledgeable, and truly customer focused, I highly recommend American Window Company. This business is absolutely woman- and mom-friendly, and it's refreshing to work with someone who values integrity as much as quality work. Highly recommend! read more

John and Jorge came to install my 2 windows today and they did an amazing job. Not only were they friendly, they were very professional, careful yet efficient. They also did a good job laying cloths down and cleaning everything afterwards. The new windows look amazing! Even though we didn't get the extra sound proofing, the freeway noises are so much more muted than before. The Danny and the others at the company were also very nice and answered many questions as I was deciding on which windows to choose. Definitely appreciate their friendliness, patience, expertise, many choices of windows, and most of all fair pricing. If we need more windows replaced, I would definitely go back to them. read more

If you don't want to read any further, just know that I had an excellent experience with American Window Company. They were cheaper than all the other contractors I received estimates from, they were able to acquire the materials faster than all the other contractors that I spoke with, and they were able to get the work done faster than all the other contractors I spoke with. Once the work was complete, I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism of the installation crew, the quality of the windows, and the quality of the installation. This company will not disappoint. Okay, now for the full review. I needed a window company to do a direct replacement retrofit for 13 windows on a single-story home. I was not going to be moving or resizing any window openings. I looked around online and found American Window Company along with a few other contractors. When I called American Window Company to request an appointment for an estimate, it took a couple days for the office staff to call me back and add me to the schedule, but it ended up being worth the wait. Once I finally had an appointment set up, I received an email from the owner of the company - Danny Piantanida - to confirm my appointment with him. This surprised me, because I was expecting to just meet with a regular project manager for a simple project estimate, not the actual owner of the company. My meeting with Danny went very well. He listened attentively to my goals and plans for the project, and his experience allowed him to provide valuable input and recommendations. He was very easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. Looking back on it now, this is one of the many reasons his business is so successful. Once Danny finished gathering measurements, we started discussing material costs and project timelines. During Danny's customer presentation, I had asked a question about the quality of the windows that American Window Company uses in their installations. He flipped to a page in his presentation and explained that there is basically a certain window quality threshold that American Window Company will not drop below. I don't remember the specifics, but American Window Company does not carry and will not install cheaply made/low quality windows. This made me a little concerned about project cost, but I allowed him to continue. Next, Danny showed me all the brands available, along with their manufacturing and shipping lead times. There were a lot of options for me to choose from, the brands were sorted by price, and the estimated manufacturing and shipping lead times were all right there next to the brand information. This made it very easy for me to make my decision on which windows I wanted to use. Since American Window Company only uses high quality products, I chose their cheapest and earliest available option. The lead time to have these windows built and shipped to the American Window Company warehouse was estimated at about 2 to 3 weeks. Next, we finally started discussing pricing. I was still concerned about cost here because after receiving estimates from other companies, I knew this was going to be expensive. After Danny ran the numbers, the price was about 45% cheaper than the next cheapest estimate I had received. This had to be too good to be true, so I asked Danny how this was possible. He explained that not only is American Window Company a window installer, but they're also a distributor. They get fantastic deals on their products, and this is why he was able to get me such a great price. I asked how long the rest of the process would take after they received the windows. He said they can usually schedule the installation for a couple days after they receive the windows, and the installation for my project should only take 1 day. I asked him how he expects all 13 windows to get installed in 1 day, and he told me about the extremely efficient process he uses to run his projects. He planned to send a crew of 3 guys and a special custom trailer that had been converted into a mobile workshop. This all sounded great, so I agreed to the terms of the job. A few weeks later I received a call from American Window Company informing me that my windows have arrived, and they scheduled the installation for the next day. The installation only took 1 day to complete, and the crew was done by 5:00 PM. The crew was professional, clean, worked quickly, and had great attitudes. They left the property clean and in good order, and the installation quality was great. Even though I went with almost the cheapest windows available, the windows did not look or feel cheap. They're sturdy, easy to operate, and they drastically reduce the amount of noise coming into the house from outside. I'm extremely happy with my decision to choose Danny and his team at American Window Company. These guys rock, and I'll be recommending them to everyone I know that needs window work done. read more

Highly recommend American Window Company if you are replacing your windows! I'll replace all my future windows with this company again for below reasons: (1) Initial quoting: I had gotten quotes from various window companies before calling American Window. Danny (the owner) came to my house, assessed the measurements, listened patiently to my concerns, and showed me different window brand options he had for my case. This is the first company that would show me the different prices for different brands, so I can research the brands and decide based on my budget and needs. Transparency is key to customers when it comes to pricing! (Danny's response time on email/call for my questions is super quick) (2) Installment: The installment team is all in-house and hired by American Window, so I didn't have to worry about insurance, etc. Other companies that I have asked for quotes hire outside workers, but in my opinion, in-house teams know their products well. The guys who came were polite, professional, and worked efficiently together since they knew their products. This was very important for me as I felt safe when a whole team of strangers worked inside my house. (3) After service: There was a slight issue with some of the screens (due to a factory problem). American Window handled the issue directly with the factory for me and even came to install the new screens...on a bad rainy day! I think the reason for their efficiency across departments is because the team has inherited a great service attitude, so from the office college Angie to the installment college Hasus (I'm sorry if I misspelled your name) all extended the most polite and efficient customer service! I hope this review helps viewers make an easier decision when finding the right window company because it is such an investment in the home's value and living enjoyment. Thank you for your great service! read more

This is our second review for American Window Co. We gave them a 5 star review in our first review and now that the project is complete I have to give them another big 5 star review!!! The install crew was awesome! Very friendly and very professional and a pleasure to have working on our home. We had three sliding doors and 8 windows replaced. They completed the job in one day even though they had to contend with high winds which slowed down the process. We are so happy with the job they did; our doors and windows are beautiful and work like a charm!!! If you're looking to replace windows or doors in your home, look no further!!! Give American Window Company a call... You wont be sorry!!! Thanks to the owner Danny and his entire crew!!! read more

I am living next to a busy street, close to the Long Beach airport and I am very sensitive to noise. After doing a thorough research, I found out that I needed a window that would provide me a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 42 and above to satisfy my needs. The mainstream window companies like Milgard were nowhere close to these levels. I found about American Window Company through my search of higher STC rating windows. From the first day to installation day, they were nothing but exceptional. Jesus and Sylvia were always available for any question I had, Danny stopped by multiple times at my property to walk me through the project and the installers were nothing but great. Informed me with everything real time and made sure that the task was completed to my expectations. The windows look amazing both from inside and outside and the noise is gone forever. Always available, low prices, highest noise cancellation, quick installation. I couldn't have asked for anything better. read more

Found this company on YELP and I'm glad I did! I called for an estimate to retrofit all the windows and patio sliders for my home since they were vintage 1974 with aluminum frames and single pane glass. Jesus with American Window came out the same day and discussed options with me. He was knowledgeable, professional and did not pressure for a sale. He knew I had a budget and did not try and upsell me either. I was so impressed with the experience and price, I didn't even bother getting another proposal. I knew I had the right company for the job. A couple of days later, I visited their showroom in Covina and signed on the dotted line. It was that simple. Interested in knowing how things turned out with my new windows? Check back as I continue to review this company on next steps including the installation processes. Part 2 The owner of American Windows came to validate the window count and measurements.
