Let me begin by saying - there are not enough words with which to praise the quality of service and professionalism I encountered here today! I entered for the first time, very upfront about the fact that most everything having to do with this business was "well beyond my bandwidth." Arriving at the last hour of the day (between 4 and 5pm), I was already prepared to be dealt with curtly and expected to be "rushed out the door." Instead, I had the undivided and gracious attention of the office attendant (Kelly) who was only too happy to attend to my request for help and aid. Having lived in our home for 30 yrs (having bought it brand-new), all the windows were double-paned SunAir energy saving ones. One of them proved too challenging to open and shut (due to aged balances in the window). Having been initially directed to another business, I was assured that they knew just what was needed - even looked up the stock number of the damaged part and ordered on Amazon. The pieces arrived - only to be "missing" essential plastic end pieces that were integral to the function of the balance system. Kelly, having looked at the damaged part I brought in, promptly went to her storeroom - and came back with two fully intact balance parts. When asked how much - the cost was unbelievably affordable! She asked me if my window had "clips" - I said I had been shown those in a showroom, but my window did appear to have these. "Wait here," she said. A couple minutes later, Kelly appears with two clips. NEVER in my experience have I received such resplendent professional and personable service as this! If, like me, you are hesitant to go to a business like this because you don't know much of anything and might be fearful of being taken seriously - HESITATE NO LONGER! When my pieces arrived, they called to let me know that they were not up to par and sent them back to be recut. As part of a major home remodel project, we hired Precision Glass and Mirror to install a glass shower pain and door. As scheduled, PG&M completed its work in March, 2020. As you might imagine, glass shower doors must fit nearly perfectly to swing properly and to contain the shower spray without leaking. I'm very picky and can honestly say, perfect fit. Shortly after moving into our home in October 2020, the shower door began to sag a bit due to slippage of a rubber shim on the bottom hinge. I called PG&M to report the problem and they showed up the following week as scheduled and adjusted the door. No problems since then. Given that it had been nearly nine months since the initial work, I had expected to pay for the service and offered to do so; however, PG&M wouldn't except my offer. Received quotes from other companies for total window replacements and was so shocked at the sticker price of $3,000 per window. The quote from renewal by Anderson said window replacements for my whole house was only $90,000 - yes, only $90,000. Anderson's then proceeded to give me easy financing options..... who the heck would ever spend $3,000 per window in their home when they can just replace the glass for about for 85% cheaper .... yes I paid about $500 for energy efficient dual pane glass. I'll probably do my whole house for $12,000. Precision glass came out, measured , called me in a few days and quoted me each window. I wasn't pressured by a salesman to do the whole house. I was able to pick which windows needed urgent replacement. Trevor came on time for the install which only to 3 days from the time I ordered the windows. It took him 3 hours for the 6 windows. I highly recommend this company for any and all glass and mirror needs. I own a business and my hinge on my front door broke and I could not close my door all the way . I would have to find someone to pop the hinge back into socket to close the door all the way.
