Best service ever! Highly recommend this place! Cheryl will help you whatever you need.

The people working for this company were extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I even had one of their employees threaten me, all because they were apparently having a bad day. We had already explained that the existing windows in the apartment I rent were not tempered glass and specifically asked them to be careful and tape the window down first. Unfortunately, they ended up breaking the window, and one of their employees was injured pretty badly in the process, having to be rushed to the hospital--which I genuinely feel bad about. Afterward, they left a mess throughout the entire area they had been working in, including upstairs. There was trash and debris left everywhere by the other worker that left one guy here to clean up only after I told him there was screens and old piece he left by the other worker everywhere. I simply asked for a rag or mop to help clean up the small pieces of glass for the safety of my children and furry friends. Broken glass can cause serious injuries and, if it cuts someone, can potentially lead to infection. Instead of helping or taking my concerns seriously, I was yelled at, threatened, and told that there was no glass and to "get the h*** out." I completely understand that accidents happen and that everyone can have a bad day. However, there is absolutely no excuse for treating someone that way, especially when you're working inside their home. Being told that I "better watch who I'm talking to" is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. More so when I asked for a rag only! I would expect anyone entering someone's home to be respectful, clean up after themselves, and act professionally, regardless of the circumstances. At the very least, I should have been able to express a legitimate safety concern about broken glass in my home without being threatened or spoken to disrespectfully. Note that both stated they were managers! If you value professional work and ethics.... GO ELSE WHERE!! read more

Shout out to Fred's Glass & Mirror, and especially repair tech Javier. For starters, I'm no expert on old wood windows-all I know is one day I opened the window and the glass popped out of the frame and b4 you know it our bedroom window glass shattered! I'm incredibly grateful for this team. The tech scheduled to repair the window was polite, knowledgeable and early! Javier knew exactly what needed repair and what didn't, he made sure to spot for hidden rot, and paid close attention to every detail of placing the glass. He cleaned the corners, tightened joints, and handled the glass cutting carefully --no stress, no cracks. He was knowledgeable of the old construction of my windows and was skilled with the glazing. He repaired the window from the outside and was in and out in under an hour. The whole process was easy peasy. I was worried I'd be heading into the new year with a broken window--STOKED these guys were able to fit me in. read more

Carlos went above and beyond with replacing our broken window. He was so professional and kind, and did such a beautiful job. I shopped around a lot and found nothing comparable with cost and timelines for this project. I'll definitely be using Fred's glass again. Thank you so much! read more

$75 fee to come to your home and evaluate your window. The company has an excellent on-line presence.

I originally went in and got quoted $150 for the mirror plus labor. A few days later, they called me back with a different price and said they would call me when the mirror was ready, but they never did. I had to call them myself to find out, and then I was given yet another different price. Overall, I was quoted three different prices throughout the process. If you get a quote from them, make sure to get it in writing to avoid any confusion or unexpected changes. read more

We had our front glass office door broken during the night while we were out of town on vacation. I was able to get in touch with Sarah through Fred's Glass and Mirror's emergency line, and she took care of everything so quickly. She made sure our front door was boarded up right away to secure our space and then prioritized our repair, which meant a lot especially since our office is located in the busy Brockton Arcade. Within a couple of days, our new glass door was installed. The whole process was smooth, professional, and handled with care. As a small business, we really appreciate the way Fred's Glass and Mirror and their team looked out for us. Huge thanks to Sarah and the rest of the office staff for going above and beyond. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. read more

After having 4 other glass companies come out and tell me that my sliding glass patio door could not be repaired (frame separated from glass), but would have to be replaced, and custom made, due to it not being standard size, and all quotes in the thousands. I have been trying to get the glass company that installed our store front to come out and make some repairs for about a year. I was driving to work and saw a Fred's Glass & Mirror truck, honked my horn at the driver. Carlos pulled over and we spoke. He gave me his card and I called his office. They said that they needed to check their schedule and would call me back. Within an hour I received a call back indicating that Carlos would be available two days later and that they would call to confirm the time that morning. Like clockwork I received the call that morning and Carlos showed up at out building on time! He not just one of the most experienced glazing guys that I have ever met, but also one of the most personable and friendly people. These guys check every box! Our house was broken into on a Saturday night, broke our slider. Called Cheryl at Fred's after being referred to them by the Police Dept to Board Up the slider. They were at our house within an hour of calling, boarded up the slider and secured the door until the replacement could be ordered. We also had them install the replacement slider. Danny and Justin came out on time as promised, actually earlier than scheduled, and installed the replacement. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous.
