Several of the windows in my home face due south. Although they were double pane, they had almost…read morezero insulation remaining after 25 years of massive sun. The temperature in the south facing bedroom on a hot 90 degree plus day would always be nine degrees hotter than the rest of the house. I decided to replace not only the four windows in the south facing bedroom, but six other windows that can be viewed in the same field of vision from the street, to keep the aesthetics consistent. The replacement windows I selected are double pane argon gas filled to help keep the heat out during the summer season. I put out a bid on Yelp and narrowed the field down to two companies, Note I did not select the least expensive bid, but actually selected the most expensive bid. My reasoning was a solid five star Yelp rating, BBB A+++ rating and the knowledge and excellent follow up provided by the salesperson, David White. Other factors in my decision were silver coating on the glass to reduce the intense green hue that most argon gas filled windows exhibit and exterior window casings that are solid without decorative ribs that would collect dirt. I was provided with a detailed explanation of the process and same day estimate. The process from start to finish took five weeks. This would have been as little as two weeks if I did not have an arch top window. Curved windows take longer to build, at least for Ameristar. It took me a while to prepare the two rooms, so I was not in a big hurry. The installation was done yesterday. The crew was on time, polite, and from my view, was extremely careful and exhibited excellent attention to detail. The 10 windows were installed in one day. The crew cleaned up their mess very well and everything went according to plan. I am completely satisfied with the entire process. The windows are very elegant looking, not so green and make the house look better. I trust that the temperature in the south facing bedroom will level out with the rest of the house with the argon gas in the windows. Five stars all the way. Well done.

He came out to measure the windows and then sent me a text saying he'd call me on Monday to discuss the ETA. He never called. Well, September rolls around and I still haven't heard anything from Josh so I check in with him. He says he's gonna check his schedule and get back to me with an installation date. He does not get back to me. So I follow up with him and he says there was a delay with the manufacturer because they had some kind of problem with their machines. But good news, my windows were apparently delivered the previous week. Why he didn't reach out to me when my windows came in, I have no idea. I keep pressing him for an installation date. He doesn't respond until the following day. He tells me he's going to come out the following Saturday. Ok, fine. I can wait until then. Well, on Friday, the day before he's supposed to come out, he sends me a text saying that his guys can't come out until Sunday. Ok.... So I have to call my tenant and tell her the window guy isn't coming out until Sunday. Well, Sunday morning rolls around and I get another text from Josh 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment telling me he can't make it. This time he tells me there's an issue with his worker's truck, something about the timing belt. He can't come or they can't come. He wants to come out on Wednesday. It doesn't matter. At this point, my patience has run out. I ask for a refund. Josh immediately tells me he can come out the following day, on Monday, first thing in the morning. I'm dubious and don't have a lot of faith in his promise. Well, Monday morning rolls around and Josh actually shows up! And not only that, he did a great job installing all 4 windows. Honestly, I was shocked. Josh was not great at communicating with me and I felt like he was giving me one excuse after another. But in the end, Josh came through and did a great installation job. Josh, if you're reading this, please be better at communicating with your customers. If things get backed up for whatever reason, be quick and upfront about it. If you make an appointment with a paying customer, please stick to it! I'd give Josh 5 stars for the installation alone but I have to take a star off for the lack of communication and last minute cancellations.

We had 9 windows replaced and 2 large sliding glass doors. He was only responsive when we we're getting quotes and contracted with him. After installing though, it's been impossible to get anything afterward. For example, he said this all will come with a 10yr warranty ...but he never gave it to us. After many follow ups, he finally sent it 6-7 mo later! Then, the trim work to one of the sliding doors is falling off already (!!) and Josh has blown us off for months with promises to come fix it, but he just never shows. He's unreachable. It's been a waste of our time and money. Why set an appointment and then disappear? Attached are photos of the poor trim job for reference that we still need fixed after a lot of patience.

AVOID This Business - Damaged My Shower- TOOK MY MONEY- and Disappeared…read more I hired SV Glass to replace my glass shower door. He showed up to take measurements and convinced me it was a minor issue and that I would not need a replacement. He quoted me $300 to repair the track, tighten the rollers that the door hangs on, add washers to the handles, and tighten. The experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. Instead of repairing the problem, he ended up completely breaking the glass door -- and concealing it. It turns out he broke the frame that holds the glass door in place, and bent the rollers. He tried gluing it together, but after a week it fell down. It could have shattered and severely injured my family. To make things worse, he took my $300 even though he KNOWINGLY caused more damage than what I originally called him for. I've tried reaching out to him multiple times since the incident, but he has completely stopped responding to my messages. This is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm now left with a broken shower door, out $300, and no accountability from the person who made the situation worse. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. I rarely leave reviews, but this was bad enough that I felt other people should be warned.
