As much as I don't love a broken window, I love working with this company!

Nick took the time to listen to what I wanted. He gave suggestions and his opinion but he listened. Although I haven't tried the shower yet since there is ongoing construction. He promised he will be here for us if we ever need him. He backed up his labor and material 100% thank you Nick for a job well done. I love our new modern looking shower doors.

Who knows how old that thin windowpane was in the upper half of that door, nor how many times had the wind slammed that sturdy door shut, but this time, it gave up the ghost and shattered glass all over my kitchen. Big, ugly, lethal looking shards. The door was essential to keeping the excessive heat and cold at bay. It was an inside door leading to an enclosed but uninsulated porch room, then to my garden. I didn't want a brand new, Home Depot door. This one was original to the house. I needed it to be fixed, and I needed it asap. So forget about my handyman hubby; his Hunny-do list is still longer than my Grandson's Xmas Wish List. Just sayin'. I looked for a referral from a trusted contractor we knew. And Jelco Glass (Nick) is the only name he gave me. Trust is most important. We brought the door to Nick, a real biggie decision that saved us about 1/2 of his original quote. Two days later, we were loading it back in our car. Tempered glass. Ah yes! Good for another century, and far less lethal should Mother Nature not play nice again. Sure, the door will need repainting. That will be another day. But the original quarter-round molding (with untold layers of ancient paint) that was holding the glass in, was carefully removed then reinstalled perfectly. My door is happy to have her ancient parts intact. I'm happy, too. Thanks Nick!

We made an appointment for Monday afternoon at 4:30, he never showed and when I reached out he said he forgot to add it to his calendar. Okay, things happen. We made another appointment for Thursday, again 4:30, i came home about 4:20 to find his business card in my door. I called, he said that he had it down for Thursday afternoon and showed up at, if I understood him correctly, noon and when I wasn't home just left, didn't even call, just left. He said that he could still make it tonight possibly around 5:30, to which I agreed, but I felt it was reasonable to say that if he couldn't make it, I wouldn't try rescheduling again. His response was that he doesn't really work on a strict timeline (paraphrasing) and that he knew my time was valuable so he would pass on the job. My job is a relatively small job, I want to add a dog door to our slider, so I get it the it wasn't worth his time, but then say no at the start, don't give me a rough quote and then schedule an appointment just to miss it. Several people I reached out to have already told me they don't do the work I'm requesting, which is fine. I can't judge the quality of work, but the customer service, at least in my case, wasn't good.

We had already explained that the existing windows in the apartment I rent were not tempered glass and specifically asked them to be careful and tape the window down first. Unfortunately, they ended up breaking the window, and one of their employees was injured pretty badly in the process, having to be rushed to the hospital--which I genuinely feel bad about. Afterward, they left a mess throughout the entire area they had been working in, including upstairs. There was trash and debris left everywhere by the other worker that left one guy here to clean up only after I told him there was screens and old piece he left by the other worker everywhere. I simply asked for a rag or mop to help clean up the small pieces of glass for the safety of my children and furry friends. Broken glass can cause serious injuries and, if it cuts someone, can potentially lead to infection. Instead of helping or taking my concerns seriously, I was yelled at, threatened, and told that there was no glass and to "get the h*** out." I completely understand that accidents happen and that everyone can have a bad day. However, there is absolutely no excuse for treating someone that way, especially when you're working inside their home. Being told that I "better watch who I'm talking to" is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. More so when I asked for a rag only! I would expect anyone entering someone's home to be respectful, clean up after themselves, and act professionally, regardless of the circumstances. At the very least, I should have been able to express a legitimate safety concern about broken glass in my home without being threatened or spoken to disrespectfully. Note that both stated they were managers! If you value professional work and ethics.... GO ELSE WHERE!!

It was surprisingly difficult to find a company willing to replace glass in historic windows instead of immediately recommending replacement with modern windows. From start to finish, Craig and his team were professional, communicative, and incredibly responsive. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and it's clear they take pride in what they do. I'll definitely be using Craig Raymond Glass for future projects on my historic windows and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for skilled, reliable window glass services.

Craig is local to the Riverside area and was quick to respond. Within a few days he had my window replaced quickly and correctly. Of course the window was not a simple fix. He has good American work ethic and great values. I would highly recommend Craig for any glass work you need around your home. Thanks Craig!
