James quoted and then replaced an old delaminating entry door on our condo. The original door had a gap between it and the security door which would let in bugs and debris. By the time James was done, we had a beautiful, new, professionally installed door finished off with new trim around it. In addition, James found and added enhancements to the security door to fill in the gap between the new entry door and the security door. read more

We needed to replace our kitchen window and two sliding patio doors that has been leaking water from the outside during heavy rain over the years. I contacted Jaime and requested a quote and he immediately came over to take a look and give us quote. Not only did he have the most competitive quote, he was also the easiest to communicate with over other window installers I contacted. He was courteous, professional, and was willing to accommodate our preferred dates for installation. He was able to complete the job in a day and half by himself which was super impressive. I would contact him again in a heartbeat to replace the rest of our windows and would highly recommend him to anyone! Keep doing a great job, Jaime! read more

Lucero's Windows and Doors was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions throughout the process. We had four solid core interior doors and two double closet door systems ordered and installed, and the quality of the installation showed that he really knew what he was doing. Everything was completed professionally, and we're happy with the results. Great Job! The only downside was that we had to find a separate contractor for painting. We asked James for a recommendation and were referred to Eddy, but unfortunately, I would not recommend using him. read more

AMAZING! Backstory: I needed a new garage side door from years of damage and it being a junky hollow door. I thought I could fix it myself but opt'ed to get a professional... SURE GLAD I DID! I did not realize how much I did not know about "doors"! I can't believe I didn't not do this sooner! James was super professional and direct. Great pricing and quality of work speaks for itself. Everything was done in just a few hours! I am excited to be working with James again on getting more projects done in the near future. read more

Amazing job! Was supposed to be a simple door replacement. But once the previous door was removed there was a bunch of termite damage. Lucero clearly explained the situation and the need to do some wood replacement before installing the new door. He delivered quality work. He was also reasonably priced. I really appreciate the effort he made in helping me put my house back together. Definitely will work with him again! read more

We'd been having issues with our entry door for a while. The door is more than 80 years old. And now, it had started rubbing against the side wall and no longer sat evenly in the frame. It was clear it was time for a replacement. Before choosing James, I got a quote from a very popular windows and doors company in Orange County. James, the owner of Lucero's Windows and Doors, not only offered the best price but was also extremely responsive. He mentioned that he previously worked as a Home Depot installer, which gave me confidence that he was properly trained. I was initially cautious because of the low number of reviews, but the consistent perfect scores from other customers made me optimistic. Now, after working with him, I can confidently say that Lucero's Windows and Doors is the real deal. Because our home required a custom-sized door, James came out twice to take measurements. After about two weeks, the custom entry door arrived, and he completed the installation in a single day. He told me our home was one of the oldest he's worked on, and the walls were very different from newer builds. Despite the challenges, he made everything fit perfectly, and the final result looks fantastic. We no longer feel a draft under the door, and it swings smoothly without any issues. read more

James did a great door switching our 4 doors. Before confirming the job with him, he went back and forth with me to find the front door I'm looking for. Very communicative and on top of things even before we confirmed going with him. The price. James's price is competitive, we also reached out to other door vendors in the area, his price came back within our budget. He's also very knowledgeable about the product and can tell he's been in the industry for a long time. It took James 2 days to get all doors installed. He was courteous and mindful getting work done. We had one door that had some problem with our floor not leveled, he assured us it would be resolved. For the utility door, the quality is above our expectation as an exterior door that not guest facing, and he complimented the hardware for us without charging since our own hardware is garbage. My partner is a very peculiar person with details. He's very happy about James work that alone speaks his work quality. I would definitely hire James again if we have door or window job, would take his referral for other jobs needed! read more

When one door closes another opens and this time it doesn't stick. My original door was from my 1951 year old house. I had a security screen put on at a later date. I think it might have been made of cast iron because it was so heavy. If your finger are near when closing, you should just kiss them good by. I got a quote from James and decided to have the job done. He told me to order it and he would pick it up and install. He did just that. Good communication, showed up on time and did fantastic job. Screen and door working perfectly. read more

Lucero's Windows and Doors - Security door. - Windows Installation Near Me - Cerritos, California

I hired Lucero's Windows and Doors to install my new front entry door and side garage door, and I had a great experience from start to finish. He showed up on time and was able to get both doors installed the same day. What I really appreciated was that he took the time to work through some unexpected challenges instead of taking shortcuts. The opening for my front door wasn't the right size for the door jamb, so he came up with a solution by adding trim to make everything fit and look right. The side garage door also had a non-standard opening, and he had to modify the jamb to make it work properly. I purchased both doors from Home Depot, and he was very careful handling them throughout the installation. He even pointed out some damage that had happened during delivery before he started. He installed the doors, handles, and smart locks, and everything came out looking great. Even though he didn't have room in his truck to take the shipping pallet, he helped cut it into smaller pieces for me. He also hauled away my old doors and cleaned up the work area before leaving. Overall, I'm very happy with the work. He's honest, knowledgeable, shows up when he says he will, and takes pride in doing the job right. It's hard to find contractors like that these days. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again and would definitely recommend Lucero's Windows and Doors to anyone needing door installation work. read more

They were quick to respond and very knowledgeable. Assisted with a few things just by answering a few questions.

I bought a small house as a fixer-upper, so there was a lot of work to be done. I needed to replace 11 windows, the front door, and four interior doors. I also added a side door, a security door, and two sets of sliding closet doors. After reading other reviews, I noticed everyone said Lucero's Windows and Doors had the best prices. Based on that, I decided to go with them without even getting quotes from elsewhere. James was professional, kept the communication clear, and I'm beyond satisfied with the results. I highly recommend them! read more

So glad we went with Lucero's Windows and Doors to replace our exterior backyard door. Jaime did a wonderful job! He was friendly, professional and obviously cares a lot about his work. Our old door and frame were basically deteriorating and needed a major overhaul. It didn't faze Jaime at all. He figured out what needed to be done to remove all the old and fit in the new. We couldn't be happier with our new door and frame! Never has that door worked so well, and it really transformed our laundry room space. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent service from start to finish. Communication was great, arrived on time and kept the scheduled appointment, and the quality of the work was excellent. I need two sliding closet doors replaced as the old ones were so very 1970s and I definitely needed an upgrade. After finding the doors I wanted and after three estimates I chose Lucero's Windows and Doors. His was a smaller and a local business which always is what I look for when I have a project. James was very nice and very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and concerns and his price quote was very good, beating all other estimates. As the day to install approached James called and said he had an earlier install time available. That was great and the project was in and completed two days early. James worked quickly and professionally and I could tell he knew his craft. In little over an hour the doors were in and looking and working great. I'm very happy with the job and very happy I chose James' company. I highly recommend his company for anyone needing windows or doors. read more
