Owen was fantastic. He responded very quickly to all my messages. He showed up within 36 hours, and he fixed our 45 year old sliding door lock, which had been temperamental for years. He also fixed the rollers, and the sliding door is like new. Most importantly. He worked efficiently, and his rate was affordable and fair! Highly recommend!!! read more

Highly recommend! Owen does excellent work at fair prices and is responsive and transparent. I wish I could say the same of even a fraction of the repair companies out there. I contacted him to fix sliding door rollers on one door and assess a few others. Within hours, I had an estimate. Within two days, my door was good as new and Owen had checked on a number of other doors and gave me honest assessments of what needed actual repair vs cleaning/lubricant. He even spent extra time helping me diagnose a tricky screen door that was getting stuck. I had previously contacted another company that wouldn't provide an estimate without a visit and then quoted me a minimum price that was more than double what Google said it should cost for my door and location. Glad I took the extra time to reach out to Owen - thank you!! read more

Great response time, on time, delivered the job efficiently and effectively. I requested two patio doors to be fixed (rolled smoothly), and to change locks. He did it in two days. Honest quote. Accept zelle/ venmo which is amazing! Great work and price! Thanks Owen! read more

Owen came last week. He is honest and did an amazing job. I have total 4 Fleetwood aluminum sliding doors. All are 50 yrs old original doors. They are solid doors but all have different issues, making them very difficult to slide and/or lock. The manufacturer itself still exists but stopped carrying the genuine parts. Owen is the 3rd guy that I called to explain my problem. He asked for the photo and quickly confirmed he can do it. On the job day, he came on time. He is truly knowledgeable. He replaced the roller wheels of two sliding doors, and replaced 1 railer. He spent quite some time to adjust the two other sliding doors. Now all my 4 sliding doors work smoothly. He also checked/changed the wheels of all my screen doors. Beyond my expectation, he was even able to fix my 2 Fleetwood window balancer which was not even on my original to-do list. After each task, Owen thoroughly vacuumed everything he touched. Now all my beautiful sliding doors and screen doors and windows are working smoothly. My husband and I are so thankful that we came cross with Owen. He saved us so much money because we do not need new doors. Our daily life is so much improved. Yes, I would recommend Owen, the Patio Door Guy to anyone who has sliding door issues. read more

This guy is an expert. He fixed my old wooden door so it now works perfectly. I had used another company a few months ago for the same repair but the door stopped sliding after three weeks. Owen explained what the problem was, fixed it, and charged me less than the first guy. Use The Patio Door Guy first and save yourself hassle and $$. read more

Quick to respond, and with pics, they had the part in stock ready to install same day. Sliding door lock was fixed and also adjusted the door to slide smoother. Awesome! Kemlyn was very nice and knowledgeable. Thank you! read more

Our patio door (which had been installed by another company) never opened and closed smoothly - plus was progressively getting harder to close. Sometimes it would take 2 to 3 minutes just to try and put as much strength as we could into it to close it! I called the patio door guy/Owen earlier this week. He was very responsive came by yesterday spent about an hour or so and the door now works like a dream! Reasonably priced and solved the problem - can't get better than that! read more

It is hard to find a great service in this days and age. We are grateful to have Owen service our patio door. He came to our rescue when we gave up in finding the right person to fix the door. First he is on time, honest, sincere and really knowledgeable and experience about fixing a stuck patio door. We are highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with the patio door issues. read more

Owen really knows what he's doing. He gave me very straightforward and transparent price quote online after seeing my pictures and his price is the best. Prompt communications, very responsive. My door frame is pretty tight and he still was able to figure out a way to replace the rollers. Now the door is like sliding on ice. I'm so satisfied. He also fixed and realigned my handle for free! High recommend Owen and I will use him again! read more

Patio Door Guy? More like Patio Door Wizard! Owen provided stellar service from start to finish and transformed our decrepit sliding glass door into good as new. From the beginning, Owen was willing to provide a quote upfront, while a competitor refused to quote or wanted to charge $89 just to come take a look. Several handymen and contractors told me my door was basically shot and would need to be replaced. Not true. Owen took one look and knew immediately what the issue was. He repaired everything in about an hour and a half, doing detailed, thorough work--fixing the sliding glass door, track, and handle (which had come loose from how difficult the door was to open and close), and even repairing the adjacent screen door, which we were convinced would also need to be replaced. Friendly, transparent, honest, and fairly priced. I genuinely can't recommend Owen enough--you won't find better service for your patio door needs. read more

Friendly service. Efficient and professional job. Sliding glass patio door moves smoothly now.

I messaged Owen about a small problem I had with a very old sliding patio door that wouldn't lock. I sent over some pictures and he immediately knew what I was missing and advised it was a very cheap and easy fix. He told me to come pick up the part I needed and sold it to me for a very reasonable price. I came home immediately and got my sliding patio door to lock again. Thanks again! read more

Straight to the point, quick, efficient, and clearly passionate about his work. Kemlyn runs a great business focused on repairing, improving, and installing patio doors. He came out to my location, assessed the lock, and gave me a very reasonable quote. Within an hour, he had the new lock installed and everything working perfectly. He's definitely busy--and that speaks volumes about the quality of his work. Once you meet him, you'll understand why he's in such high demand. read more

Owen was abosolutely amazing. We had him repair/upgrade 3 sliding glass doors. He really knows his business. He dismantled and reassembled the doors and added quality parts. All of them slide smoothly now. It is very hard to find someone so honest and dedicated to doing right by his clients. He even took the time to explain what he could and could not do so he set the right expectations and we bought a new screen for one of the doors after he left. All of Owen's work is a cut above. If we ever have any issues again, he will be the first person we call. I cannot thank him enough. read more

You know what's a shame? The fact that we might not see Owen for another 20 years. He did such a thorough job and went above and beyond, I don't think our patio door is going to need service for another two decades. I tried over the weekend to get the door out and to try to replace the rollers myself. Couldn't figure it out. So in comes the professional and within minutes he had the door sitting outside ready for replacement rollers. But before he just slapped on any ol' pair of brass rollers, he noticed a screw had rust on it. So out he went, grabbing alternative parts from his vehicle to replace everything with stainless steel parts. Back to the frame and rail. After taking the old rail out, he went and cleaned everything out before popping in a new rail. Once he got the door back on, he noticed that the end covers were getting ground down from sliding on the rail. So he cut notches in them and screwed them in place. He missed nothing. Before departing, he lubricated everything and left us with two spare adjustment screw covers. Really don't think he left a stone unturned. Fantastic service. Don't bother looking elsewhere. Owen's got you covered. read more

I can see why The Patio Door Guy has such great reviews. I would give him 10 stars if possible. Had a problem with an older heavy glass patio door that wouldn't slide. I sent Kemlyn a picture, and he knew right away what the issue was, very knowledgeable. He gave me a fair price for what needed to be done, which included reinforcing the bottom of the cracked door frame to hold the roller from slipping, replacing the track with new stainless steel, tightening the handle and doing an overall cleanup and maintenance. I also let him know there was an issue with the sliding screen door, which he doesn't usually work on, but he went ahead and adjusted it anyway and it works much better. You couldn't ask for better service, and a great attitude. HIGHLY recommend and will be using him on all my patio door repairs. read more

High quality service. Fixed our Patio door track and it works beautifully. Made recommendations about a custom made screen and fixed then bend out if the old one until we can replace. Thank you! read more

If you are looking for an honest, owner operated person to fix your sliding door, Owen is the guy. He will give you an estimate over the phone, and NOT add anything on once he gets to your home. He did a complete, thorough job, which included replacing the insulation/weather stips. He also fixed my security door lock at no additional charge. I have original aluminum patio sliding door that was from 1971. He charged me $250, and it works like new. I am old school and believe they don't make anything like they used to, and if at all possible, salvage older products at all costs. New stuff is complete junk and lasts a year or 2 IF you are lucky. Thanks Owen. Nice to know good honest people are still around read more

Owen provides excellent service and high quality work. He's a straight shooter and was able to fit the repair within our budget.

Owen is the best possible person to work on your patio door. My old door works like new thanks to him. His pricing is more than fair. The quality of his work in unsurpassable. His ethics are embarrassing for me to comment on (people generally aren't this honest anymore). I love this guy! read more
