I'm giving four stars only because communication could have been better. After I paid my deposit, I didn't get clear updates on timing, which left me wondering when everything would be scheduled. AVOID This Business - Damaged My Shower- TOOK MY MONEY- and Disappeared…read more I hired SV Glass to replace my glass shower door. He showed up to take measurements and convinced me it was a minor issue and that I would not need a replacement. He quoted me $300 to repair the track, tighten the rollers that the door hangs on, add washers to the handles, and tighten. The experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. Instead of repairing the problem, he ended up completely breaking the glass door -- and concealing it. It turns out he broke the frame that holds the glass door in place, and bent the rollers. He tried gluing it together, but after a week it fell down. It could have shattered and severely injured my family. To make things worse, he took my $300 even though he KNOWINGLY caused more damage than what I originally called him for. I've tried reaching out to him multiple times since the incident, but he has completely stopped responding to my messages. This is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm now left with a broken shower door, out $300, and no accountability from the person who made the situation worse. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. I rarely leave reviews, but this was bad enough that I felt other people should be warned.

We made an appointment for Monday afternoon at 4:30, he never showed and when I reached out he said he forgot to add it to his calendar. Okay, things happen. We made another appointment for Thursday, again 4:30, i came home about 4:20 to find his business card in my door. I called, he said that he had it down for Thursday afternoon and showed up at, if I understood him correctly, noon and when I wasn't home just left, didn't even call, just left. He said that he could still make it tonight possibly around 5:30, to which I agreed, but I felt it was reasonable to say that if he couldn't make it, I wouldn't try rescheduling again. His response was that he doesn't really work on a strict timeline (paraphrasing) and that he knew my time was valuable so he would pass on the job. My job is a relatively small job, I want to add a dog door to our slider, so I get it the it wasn't worth his time, but then say no at the start, don't give me a rough quote and then schedule an appointment just to miss it. Several people I reached out to have already told me they don't do the work I'm requesting, which is fine. I can't judge the quality of work, but the customer service, at least in my case, wasn't good.

However, the glass was sliding down from the hardware in the shower, and its part of the purchase included in the warranty for it to be fixed. So I reached out to Erick and he promised to pick it up and a few days passed and he would no show. Then finally on July 30 he picked it up and as of today it is 2 weeks, he still has the glass. I have called, and texted hundreds of times with HORRIBLE communication. He gives me crap responses "I'll call you in 20 min" and never calls. or "No one wants to fix the glass" then another day, "I'll be there after 1pm" So at this point I dont even know if the glass is fixed, or what is happening. I am not even sure what to do at this point. I call and literally blow up his phone and he NEVER EVER answers the damn phone. I am so frustrated that he cant even give me honest answers and he just has the glass with no expected timeframe of returning it! So it was my fault for giving a small business a chance because I would rather have spent double the price for an honest, professional and reliable company!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!!
