Recently had 12+1 windows installed. The estimator was David who was very professional and responsive to our questions. We had work done by them before and were pleased with the work. We had two appointments because we forgot about a window in our garage. Day of installation arrived and the Crew of two showed up on time. Their names were Christopher and Mando and they were Fantastic! Incredible work ethic as well as being Courteous and Friendly. Answered all my questions and concerns and I was very pleased and cleaned everything up after job completed. Second window work, a week later, was completed by Cade and Marcos. We purchased 22 windows, 3 French doors and 1 sliding door that were were installed in November, 2022. We dealt with Lisa and David who were very courteous, professional and very helpful, and returned our calls throughout this process. But that's where the helpfulness working with the company ended. On installation day, there were numerous workers, from 8 am until after dark without a lunch or breaks. This job should have taken 2 days to install; however, we were assured it could be done in 1 day. Due to the workers wanting to get the job done as quickly as possible, in 1 day, we had numerous problems. Two of the French doors leaked so badly that there was major damage to the interior of the house. The other French door needed major adjustments so that it could close properly. One window needed repairing because it was inoperable. It has taken them until August 3, 2023 to correct the water leakage into our home from the French doors. It was always stated that it wasn't the Window Guys responsibility, that it was the manufacturer of the doors (WinDoor). Both companies would send representatives out and each would say it wasn't their problem that it was the other company's problem. So while they were arguing between themselves as to who was going to fix the problem, in the meantime the leakage into our home continued. After the initial installation, we had the exterior of the house painted prior to any rains or noticeable issues with the windows and doors. After the rain, and the doors were leaking so profusely, they had to jackhammer out two of the French doors, and restucco. Then one French door (which they had "repaired") continued to leak profusely and it had to be jackhammered out and restuccoed again. This left us with having to repaint the stucco, and unfortunately the repair is definitely noticeable. The restuccoing does not match the rest of the stucco of the house. If you're looking for a quick, fast, tract home installation with a company that does not care about the quality or customer satisfaction, then they are good. But if you're interested in quality and someone addressing installation repairs in a timely manner, forget The WindowGuys as they are horrendous. read more

I have to downgrade my original three stars. Just as I predicted, within a month there are gaps and holes in the caulking they put around my windows where the slope sill adaptor would be. This is a big problem. With all of the recent rains and the ones to come, I will have water piled up behind and beneath my windows where it shouldn't be. I just think of all of the people who don't know any better and wouldn't notice until they had serious water damage. I really wanted my review to be better. read more

I had two french doors installed 12/21/22 which were VERY expensive. I waited months for the delivery and installation. With the rain, both french doors have water on the tracks inside the house!!David tried to tell me that this is normal 'it will dissipate' and water causes no damage which is absurd. I have owned multiple homes and any water leaking into the house or sitting somewhere will cause damage. I had cheap sliders before and never had any water on the inside track. So far, no resolution and now they are saying it may be a manufacturer issue! Very frustrating to wait this long for expensive doors that are crap. Will update if issue gets resolved. read more

Overdue review here. I'm so pleased with my new windows and sliding door. The estimate was in line with other companies and their staff was always professional and easy to deal with. It took a couple of months between the estimate and installation due to back up at the factory, which I do not blame them for at all. The installers they came out took great care to make sure we knew every step of the process and were very quick with what they did, even noting that there were defects in two panes that were sent and reported it for warranty before they even left. I highly recommend getting the extra thickness to the windows, I never hear the freeway now. A++ all around read more

The Window Guys did an excellent job for me. I had two sliding doors and nine windows installed on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year, to date. They sent two teams of installers to my home and were completed within four hours. The installers, estimator, and office staff were very courteous and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. I was concerned about the window caulking cracking and not being able to handle the high desert temperatures. They provided the name and brand and assured me that they would come back and correct any problems that arose in the future. The new Milgard windows are great. They operate well and look very modern. The window guys installed all new windows in our house . They were so professional and nice. I had no idea how hard of a job it is carrying windows up the latter onto the roof. From my initial inquiry, from the pleasant Estimator (I think David?), quick turnaround, responsiveness and a fantastic install job today by Christian and his partner - I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. I had to replace several builder windows in my home out of necessity. I needed to create a better barrier to keep dust and sand out of my home & went with Milgard. Now I wish I would have done more windows. They were so reasonably priced. Less than half the price of what Home Depot was charging me for the same windows. So happy I went direct! The quality is spectacular and really appreciated the attention to detail on the install. It was quite a job (I honestly didn't realize how big of a job this was going to be) but after working 7 hours in 100 degree weather - Christian and his partner, vacuumed, swept, polished windows inside and out. This has been a lontime coming review I'm sorry it took so long. This company was great. I found them as I was searching for another company that installed our windows years ago Windor a family owned business that no longer sells to the public; only to other retailers. I learned that the size type of window I needed for my bathrooms-those small narrow ones weren't available from Windor and Lisa stated Milgard is the company they use for other installs. The price was lower than I expected and I was able to schedule an estimate/measure right away and get it installed immediately. Compared to other shops I called that either didn't answer their phones or charged way too much for such small windows including the contractor that remodeled my bathrooms for 1 small dual pane sliding window was about $1000. and I was able to get both windows done right away for much less and didn't have to wait months. As I was told there was a glass shortage at the time and delivery/installs were delayed. I'm glad I found this place will definitely recommend. read more

We had new windows installed on 4/6 and the screen door for the slider was missing. Apparently the screen door came in a week later but the company has not been able to schedule someone to deliver/install it. We ordered the windows in January and are extremely frustrated that we cannot leave our slider open since there's no screen!! The installers were great but don't understand why it's taking a month to have someone bring the darn screen. read more

First they provided cover to protect my floors, a crew to remove windows, a crew to install secure windows and a crew to seal windows from inside and outside. Very efficient and professional and completed the work in one day. The end product and final result are windows much better than existing. First of all, I was very pleased with the overall experience and end results. I was recommended to the Window Guys by another satisfied customer and close friend. When I called to schedule an estimate, everyone from that first call was professional, informative and courteous. David came over and informed and set my mind at ease as we discussed the installation process. I didn't really know much about window replacement and he gave me simple insight to that. He did say most likely they could finish the job in one day and I was surprised to hear that as I have 15 windows and 2 sliders. We scheduled an installation day, we had to push it out a few days, to the weekend, but their crew came on Saturday and they were respectful of the house, courteous to me and family and they finished in one day, just like they said they would. You could see the care and craftsmanship that all the workers took as they installed and finished the moldings and sealed all the windows. They took time to clean the windows and the area after they were done. I was very pleased with the results and the whole experience gave me more appreciation of my house as the windows made such a difference in the appearance and function in sound deafening and weather insulation.
