The glass on our rear patio sliding door cracked after a rock from gardening was flung from the edger and hit it, and we needed to have it repaired ASAP as we have young kids and pets. After reaching out to several companies IE Window Repair was one of the two companies who had responded. Benny reached out to schedule an appointment to come and take measurements and provide an accurate cost on Labor Day. Benny was very communicative during the whole process and provided an accurate timeline for which the glass would need to be manufactured and ready for install. His price beat the next quote by $100 (minimum). On install day the job took about an hour. That included removing the old glass, cleaning up the frame, installing new glass, and installing a new handle. The original handle was not working as it should have so Benny went ahead and changed that for me at no extra cost. We are happy to have the window repaired and thankful companies like IE Window Repair and owners like Benny who are honest and take pride in their work. I had poor experience with this company and will not recommend it to anyone. I tried to contact Benny from this company on 6/3 for an inquiry to replace a window. They came quickly for an estimate and promised to order the window for me which should have arrived in 3-5 business days. Two weeks have passed, and there was no news from Benny. Zero communication. I contacted him to follow up. He replied and said he would check with the production. Another week passed. No communication. I followed up one more time and gave him the ultimatum. He said he got another production company going and the window should be ready by the 4th of July. I told him if no window was available by then, we would move on. I checked with him again today on 7/8 because I heard no news from him as always, he said since the company wasn't able to produce the window by 7/4, he asked the company to cancel the job... ALL WITHOUT INFORMING ME. I don't normally leave 1-star reviews unless the business is really terrible. I understand that production time can be hard to control and delays are possible, but the fact that there was ZERO communication and keeping customers waiting was very unprofessional and irresponsible. I found this company on yelp based on the review. I asked them to come install 7 window screens for my house in Fontana. They sent an inexperienced guy to do the job and none of the window screen were fit. The sizes weren't accurate and left noticeable gaps. They agreed to come back to re-do the screen but kept delaying with all kind of excuses. I called several times and finally gave up. I also asked the company to provide W9 for my tax reporting, but guess what. They have no intention to give me the W9, and never answered my phone calls again. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are UNRELIABLE!!! I called at 6 pm on 9/16 and was told they could do it at 6 am on 9/17. Later the time was changed to 6:30am. I agreed to this time. At 7am I called to find out why no one showed up and was told they were 15 minutes away. At 8 am I messed again that no one showed up and got no response. When I came home from taking my daughter to school he was here but with the wrong glass. Now I am told they can do it tomorrow. I have a shattered glass door in an unoccupied house. I don't recommend this company. They were quick to initially respond and subsequently show up to provide an estimate for 2x small single-hung window replacement (expensive). The reported owner/operator said he needed to 'order the glass' from a third-party, and that the process would take a few days. However, I called him about two weeks later after not hearing back from him and he acted like he had no idea who I was... despite him spending over an hour in my residence just talking about then-current events. Lots of further scheduling and rescheduling drama followed with him. Window job was average in my opinion: he left both windows dirty/smudgy after performing a poor wipe-down job, did not clean up the excess sealing residue (he actually told me to do it myself when it dried), and tried to tell me one of the windows' internal cross-frame was not crooked when it clearly and visually was. I called him back to properly align the cross-frame and he was not happy (who's the customer here, again?). This same guy bad-mouthed a lot of people in his industry, too. read more

Absolutely irresponsible & unethical! I copied our text in photos & see it for yourself. Due to our escrow deadline & bank requirement, we are left w only 4 days to get our window fixed. Yet Benny screwed us for 2 days leaving us in a bind to find someone in 48hr to get it done. Freaking stressful!
