I ordered a large cheese pizza and order of Mozzerella Sticks from here on a Saturday afternoon. The last time that I had eaten here was probably five years prior, & I remembered getting a HUGE delicious pizza, so I figured I would come back. The person on the phone told us about 40 minutes... one hour later the lukewarm food came. It was good. I thought the large pizza was pretty small. The Mozzerella Sticks would have been better if they were hot. Nothing to write home about. For $17 I will not be back. read more

Horrified is all I can say !!!!! I had ordered a pizza at 5:30pm, they have a special for $5.99 that I've always ordered but am now told they won't deliver that pizza, only the larger one for $9.99. ( they always use to deliver the $5.99 pizza special ) When the driver arrived I was told the total was now $12.75 including a hidden $2.00 delivery charge never mentioned when ordering. So I handed the driver 2 $10's and the .75 cents. The driver said he had no change and handed me back one of the $10's and said don't worry about it. Now, 4 hours later at almost 9:30pm ( 30 minutes after they close at 9:00 ) the driver returned demanding I now give him another $2.00 Seriously???? Who does that? I work in Reading and this is my go-to lunch place! Always fast service, great prices and awesome food. Everything is fresh & generously proportioned. I LOVE their french fries! The owners are great people ~ funny, friendly and dedicated to their restaurant. Many, many options. Pizza, subs, salads...all the great stuff you'd expect and more. Stopped in to order a pizza to take home for movie night. They had a good selection of pizzas but opted to make a custom order. It was ready in about 10 minutes, so great turn around time. The service was great and they were very attentive to our needs. I am giving it just three stars because the quality of the pizza is poor. It just didn't taste that great. I'd love to give it five stars for the pizza (and price), but parking is bad and the woman at the counter may be in need of some kind of psychological evaluation. I'm all for indy places over the chains, but, given the nature of the business, it never hurts to simply order something, go in, pick it up and leave. Took well over an hour for them to Deliver our food. I got a Chicken Kabob Wrap, and I am kicking myself for doing so. The chicken was very dry and fatty, and they forgot the Greek dressing on it. Was the first and most certainly the last time I order from here. read more

Great little pizza & sub shop. Food was tasty. The menu was massive, which made it more difficult to decide. They even had falafel, egg lemon soup & baklava. We ordered a couple cheese pizzas and a small Italian sub with everything on it except hot peppers. The greek pizza was so delicious and not greasy. My sub was the size of a large and was so fresh and very tasty. The owner, Bill, and his wife were very personable and nice. I enjoyed chatting with them for a few minutes while I waited for the pizza to come out of the oven. We will be back soon. Horrible! I ordered a small Italian that was supposed to have Mortadella, Salami and Capicolla. I had asked for no Mortadella. What I got was a sub roll with two pieces of ham and two pieces of salami. Where did the ham come from? Where did the Capicolla go? Seriously disappointing! read more

I am giving this place a 5 star rating because they delivered to me today during the snow storm and the delivery man was very nice, even though he was probably very cold. They delivered pretty quickly too despite the weather. As for the food, it was great for a local pizza place. I got the meatball sub and mozzarella sticks. This place is great! You can't beat the bang for your buck! I agree with others on here that their old style of pizza was much better (maybe the best I've ever had) but the new style is still excellent. The owners are hilarious and personable. They really make the eating-in experience worth it. You can tell how much their business means to them by the care they put into making and serving the food. Hands down my favorite pizza place. Having grown up in the town I grew to know the menus of the local pizza places well. At the end of the day Town Pizza came out on top. The pizza is always perfect, the appetizers are a great addition but my personal favorite has always been the two west sub. No doubt my favorite food, and every time I travel home I have to have at least one, despite the metabolism going over years, still worth it! In this economy it seems other pizza places in Reading are making lower quality food, not Town Pizza they've improved their recipes with better tasting ingredients.
