Pizza Mia has been one of our favorite pizza parlors for quite some time. The owner and employees here a nice people and they put their souls into creating some of the best food on the north shore. So, today we got lots of goodies; a small cheese pizza, which was cooked perfectly, with a nice crisp, not floppy or too greasy. Their sauce is a tasty blend of sweet and savory, balanced well with a satisfying amount of decadent cheese. We also grabbed a healthier options, which was the grilled chicken with broccoli over white rice. We have to say this is THE BEST chicken, broccoli, and rice bowl we've had. We got a delicious steak and cheese calzone. The meat was tender mixed with a generous portion of cheese; we got an order of naked chicken wings which were crispy on the outside, also tender, and juicy on the inside. Decided I would try a new to me pizza place while I my daughter was at cheer practice. Headed over to Pizza Mia in Stoneham. I haven't had a really good pizza in over a month. I decided I would go big and ordered 1/2 tray of Sicilian, 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni. The undercarriage was cooked perfectly, dark but not burnt crispy with a chewy inside. The sauce was really good tomatoey but not boring. I snagged a couple of loose pepperoni on my drive back to the cheer facility and they were delicious on their own. Cheese was really good and plenty of it, but not too much. Lots of flavor all around.I am very happy with my decision to try Pizza Mia. Next time I'll try a regular pizza. read more

The sicilian pizza is a family favorite. Allow for extra time to get that crip edge. Toppings are fresh and we love when the pepperoni curls up. The service was super friendly and accommodating with some specific requests. I have always enjoyed the salads with protein with buffalo chicken being my recent go to. I am eager to order again soon for the rice bowls. Parking out front is 30 minutes or less. The area is brightly lit by the cross walk and intersection. We discovered Pizza Mia through dining for a cause supporting the Stoneham Public Schools. I adore their community support and feeding my family during the busy holiday season. First time trying since the store changed owners. Placed an order for delivery online around 5:30 and it took about an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. We ordered a buffalo chicken calzone and a steak fajita rice bowl. Seemed like the food would be pretty good but everything was cold once we got it. The cheese in the calzone was cold and the chicken was very chewy. The rice bowl was better, even cold, and had really good flavor. However, was a lot of condensed grease at the bottom of the bowl that we needed to avoid. We don't live far from here but I'll hesitate before ordering delivery again. Going to try take out next time and hope to try some food that is still warm. read more

This pizza shop has REAL pizza: the red sauce is not too sweet - just right, and the dough is the real deal, thin & the crust is crispy on the outside w the perfect amount of 'chewiness' to it (not bread-y). The only thing I might mention to them the next time I order from them, which I definitely will, is I prefer a brown crust (no spots of overcooked-ness). The night which I happened to try them out I noticed a patron placing their order inside & then waiting for a bit across the street in their truck until it was ready - when it was ready the employee in the shop crossed the street to hand deliver it to this pleased customer. Don't bother. They cancel orders, crying about being too busy to cook and deliver a pizza. Ordered through SliceLife app and they took the money. The store canceled my order and slice texted me. They want me to wait 3 - 5 business days for my refund, even though this is the store's fault and not my own. I don't care. When your restaurant cancels orders claiming they are "too busy" to make food, then your best option is to never, EVER, dine there. This is a callous and utterly ridiculous way to conduct business. This was my first time and my last time ordering pizza through the SliceLife app and it's the first and last interaction I will ever have with a restaurant that doesn't know how to handle a busy night. Pizza Mia, it's a shame you run this way. On top of that, the app quoted me $22 for my order WITH TIP, TAXES AND FEES, then it added $7 at checkout. Yes, we have screenshots. read more

Everything I got at pizza Mia was delicious. Got a chicken fajita rice bowl and it was delish, although it was a little dry could of used some salsa or something else, but it was very filling. The absolutely best rice bowls I've ever had. The steak is awesome and so are the chicken bowls. I'm so happy someone told me to try the rice bowls. I'm very picky withy pizza because I don't like red sauce and they make the best no sauce pizza. Thank you for putting up with my weird orders. Recently moved to Stoneham and invited some people over for a few weekends in a row. I ordered from a different Pizzaria every weekend and Pizzamia is by far the best in Stoneham. Their dough is thin but does a great job holding all the toppings. The cheese is a very nice blend with great flavor and they cook it in such a high heat that the cheese are perfectly "toasted". Ordered from Pizzamia about 4 times and only had 1 issue Pizza "..delivered to wrong house" and when they finally delivered to me; it was cold. They offered full refund and let me keep the pizza. I had to call back several times before they actually refunded me. Tips: Their crust is a bit wide. Next time i'll order, i'll see if they'll make it so the crust is as small as possible. Being from New York City a Great Calzone is hard to find. I seen these guys listed on the Slice app and figured I'd give them a shot. Thank god I did seriously coming from a New Yorker try this place, the calzone might be a different shape then I'm used to but the flavor and quality of the ingredients they use are second to none. Great new menu and fresh, clean renovation was just completed. They now have hot roast beef which is out of this world tasty. The fried dough bites with vanilla frosting and cinnamon are great for a after meal dessert, the kids will love them! I have ordered delivery as well and they get the food to you in under 30-35 minutes which is faster than anyone else. Pizza Mia serves up a pretty decent pizza. The crust was thin, but had a good little crunch to it. The sauce was pretty flavorful and I think they use a combination of mozzerella and romano cheese, which gives it a bit more depth. Only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the toppings--the olives and mushrooms seemed like they'd come out of a can, instead of being fresh. I may stick to just cheese pizza in the future. Otherwise, delivery was fast and friendly. Prices were average with other pizza joints in town and you can even place and track your order online. Very convenient! read more
