His goal is to go to every Regina Pizza location and Woburn is one of the last 3 on his list! Your Manager John was absolutely incredible with our son today! We will be back!!! Met here for an annual post-Christmas pizza lunch with extended family. We were a party of 11, and they sat us in front of the fireplace, which was delightful! We mostly ordered pizza, though a few ordered entrees off the menu. Our server, Ella, was spectacular and accommodating in every way. The parking lot is tough once it gets crowded, so if you can avoid peak times, you'll love your experience. The pizza is pretty darn close to going into the North End. read more

The Polcaris in Woburn is an all time disaster. They messed up my large takeout order in the summer of 2025. I vowed to never return but I foolishly placed a takeout order on 5/21/26. It was just one pizza that I called in and the person entered it incorrectly. The hostess was very apologetic when she realized there was a mistake but the Manager (older male) was dumbfounded and couldn't have cared less. No apologies, no nothing. I aggressively told him would never come back and I was an idiot for giving them a 2nd chance. Are these businesses doing that well that they can act with indifference and lose customers? If I could leave 0 stars I would, My husband and I went to dinner here and I got food poisoning. I do not know what it was from. I ordered a pumpkin martini, And shrimp scampi. I started feeling dizzy and immediately threw up almost before I made it to the bathroom. Then I returned to the table and had to go to the bathroom again and threw up three more times in the bathroom. I'm not sure if there was bacteria from someone not washing their hands or if the milk or cream in the martini was spoiled. Don't go here! I've never had this happen to me in my life! I decided to ignore the reviews but wish I would've listened. They should not be charging high end prices for low quality food. I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and it came out lukewarm. The sauce tasted like alfredo but also had a strange aftertaste and lacked flavor (although they do provide grated cheese, salt/pepper at each table). It also did not have any Italian seasoning or spices on it, which I would expect at an Italian restaurant. My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken parm and it was a decent portion. However, we won't be returning. Service was just average, friendly but no enthusiasm or smiles. Definitely NOT worth $100 (with tip) for 2 entrees and 2 drinks. read more

6 of us dined, pizza was good cavatappi was good chicken and veal parm was just OK, there was barely anybody in the restaurant. It was 90° outside and probably 95 inside. The air conditioning was not working and I kind of remember going there last summer and having the same problem they need to maintain these kind of things in the restaurant. That probably explains why they were only about 20 people during a busy Thursday night dining time. We had a wonderful waiter who was very attentive and friendly. Had a get together for my family, booked the upstairs room for 15 of us. Ann Marie was the server and bartender, and she was great! The set up was nice, the pizza was wonderful but the other food ordered was below par, nearly inedible. I ordered a tray of Chicken Parm. It came with very little sauce and iwas overcooked and dry. I also ordered a tray of pasta and meatballs, also served with very little sauce, and the meatballs were heavy and bland. I called and spoke with the manager. The next day explained everything and her response was, "I will let the kitchen manager know and I hope you give us another try." I doubt I will. read more

What happened to this place I haven't been in a few years but decided to make a quick stop on the way home for takeout ( pizza & salad). The pizza used to be perfection every time but it was thick , doughy, undercooked and way too much sauce. The salad was a heaping mound of sliced onion with 2 tiny slices of tomatoes, day old lettuce and a couple shredded carrots with a half filled container if dressing if I wasn't so tired I would of returned it all it was THAT bad. The fact that this place is sitting at 2 and a half stars is ridiculous. Remember Uno's and that spinoccoli pizza of theirs? Do you miss it? These guys have it, with a fancy Italian name and with big pieces of fresh broccoli and perfect baby spinach. It's awesome. What about Bertucci's? Remember when they had that awesome Melanzane pizza? These guys have it. Ricotta, garlic, and home-cooked eggplant with fresh basil... Perfection. The crust on these pizzas? Crispy, chewy, magnificent. Remember Vinny Testa's? Remember their Eggplant Parm? These guys have it! Nice, so nice, eggplant and cheese over a pile of pasta. There could be more pasta there, but it's the 21st century and everyone is cutting carbs. But so tasty. The lemon torta cake, like a ricotta pie straight from Maria's in the North End and a pound cake had an amazing baby. The cannoli is very nice, but it would be nice if they had a few options. The cream wasn't quite ricotta or yellow, but like an almond y cream. Very good. They have regular specials, and those are always inventive and nice! Just about everything is so good there. In fact, the only thing I ever got there that I didn't like is the tiramisu. Oof. It's a slice of some sort of tiramisu inspired cake, but it isn't tiramisu. Someone at Regina Pizzeria needs to visit Eataly and try one of their tiramisu and then take a good hard look at their own. But, the staff is also very friendly and accommodating. They are also very attentive with refilling drinks. The ambiance is nice as well. It's very Italian family restaurant looking and feeling. Lots of families talking and creating a general white noise to accompany the old pop music that plays gently in the background. I wouldn't think to write this review, because I think of the Woburn Polcari's like an institution. But one of the weeknights I was there not too long ago was pretty dead in terms of customers, and that made me a little nervous for its future. And then my wife mentioned it had only 2 1/2 stars on Yelp! Holy smokes did people do this place wrong. I don't visit as often as I could, because we live in a lazy world and pizza out in that world is plentiful and generally ... Okay. But, this pizza is always the pizza I hold my middling piece of pizza from nowheresville pizza up to measure, and if the Woburn Polcari's ever closed down, I would legit be moved to tears. I don't know how this place survives. The only thing good I can say is that they have a nice staff. The menu and the atmosphere are from a bygone era of low quality Italian-American food that was once popular before people started realizing that there were better options. The antipasto plate with cold cuts, cheese and some pickled mushrooms, etc, was horrendous. The cold cuts were the salty, low quality variety of questionable origin. Oh, and what do you usually eat with antipasto? Bread perhaps? Well don't look for bread here, there isn't any. Maybe it's for the keto crowd but this is huge omission. They make you buy garlic bread which does not pair well with cold cuts... blah! Anyway, we had hoped that the pizza would make up for the disastrous appetizers. Nope! The pizza is just as revolting as the rest. Frozen pizzas from Trader Joe's are orders of magnitude better. It even had the smell of the pizza oven it was cooked it that smells like hot machine oil. First time at this restaurant was recommended by locals. Wait time was surprisingly short however that's where it ended. The server Ed made my son feel uncomfortable when he asked how big a 16" pizza was sarcastically responded well it's 16".... After the food runner brought out the food he never checked on us leaving us without drink refills. We sat the WHOLE 1st period of the Bruins and Leafs game with no service. Toasted ravioli was very dry. Garlic bread and pizza were a 7 out of 10. When I approached the manager he just apologized and nodded didn't do anything. We still had to wait another 10 minutes for the server to show up. When I explained him that he never once checked on us he said they were very busy and that he wasn't on his game. Needles to say this is the first time in 20 years where I didn't leave a tip. Servers need to understand that when children are present they are the ones that need to be attended to and then parents will be happy. Stay away! It started with the hostess who wasn't at the stand when we walked in. When she finally showed up she never greeted us, just stared at us. When I asked for a table for two, she led us to a table and drop the menus on the table and left. Never said a word. Our server Xavier was very good. Then it went down hill. My ice tea wasn't good. Then the pizzas came out. Awful!!! The crust never rose, it was an oily piece of cardboard. My toppings tasted ok but my guys was awful. He ended up throwing them out. Wicked expensive for a small pizza. My guy didn't want me to complain. So I'm warning people not to go here. Nothing like the Regina's Pizza we knew and loved. I was recently here for an upstairs party. I liked how friendly and helpful the staff was. I didn't catch her name, but the blond bartending lady upstairs was awesome. She handled the line of people coming in for drinks quickly and also took a little time after the initial rush to take care of those sitting at the bar. Every company is short staffed, but it was great to see her take the time while doing all that to train someone new who was behind the bar with her. Cold glasses for tap beers are a plus. The catering food buffet was great, a nice Italian selection and even chicken tenders and fries for the kids. There is an elevator for those who are handicapped to get to the second floor as well. I laughed every time it opened and there was someone from staff coming up in it or hiding in there on the phone. Only loses a star because the restroom could have been better, long line for the 1 unisex room in the middle of the function rooms upstairs. (Not sure if there was one downstairs). We were celebrating my little cousin's 19th birthday. Customer Service: There were not too many people at the restaurant so us getting seated was pretty fast. She was nice but then I felt like there were little things that she could have done to make our experience better like coming to ask us if everything was okay and basic things like that but that didnt happen at all. Food: - Before having our food, we got served a big round bread with some oil and mannn that bread was sooo good with the oil, when we asked for more bread, they told us that there weren't anymore and thats okay. - My cousins and the rest of the family were pretty satisfied with their food but me on the other part was not too satisfied with my food but it wasn't nobody else's fault except me. - The presentation of the food was really good looking and there were big proportions of food. Price: Our total for 4people that ordered and 2 strawberry lemonades came out to be $74 which to me was pretty pricy. We were all expecting it to be less. Will I recommend it? We've been here twice as it's my friend's once-favorite pizza place. Never looked up the reviews. Yelpers' reviews are accurate. We shared the lunchtime pasta, Sweet Sausage Cavatappi. It was fine for one spoonful. The pasta was good. Shared the Giambotta pizza. Middle was a floppy, sloppy mess. The outer 2" of the crust was best. There were fruit flies all over our food and drinks. It's January. That's gross. We were also given dirty, wet pizza plates. Wait staff was nice, but slow, and there weren't many diners. read more

Folks let's get something straight right out of the gate. This is not about pizza. Polcari's has tasty, predictable, mid tier pies, inhabiting the space between Domino's greasy cardboard and Area 4's sublime perfection. Indeed, much better than some in that space. I'm here to share my shock and awe at the perversion that Polcari's tried to pass off as chicken tenders tonight. I'm not sure I can do this justice, but for the sake of the public's health and sanity I have to try. Right off the bat. I knew I was in for a nasty surprise when I picked up the styrofoam container, noting its oddly bloated weight. For a fleeting moment I wondered if P's is just super generous with their portions. But my lizard brain knew better. As I lifted the lid, my brain struggled to make sense of what my eyes were seeing: a giant, amorphous pile of burnt sienna with no discernible borders. Nothing, in fact, even remotely resembling a tender lay within.. As I jabbed the glistening mass with my fork, wet orange breading fell away to reveal some amalgamation of meat. My attempts to secure even one intact tender proved fruitless. To say nothing of the flaccid stalks of languishing celery, being effectively suffocated by the meat blob, and overtly aggressive absence of ranch. A disturbing experience to say the least. Polcari's should stick to pizza, although if they can't master a chicken tender in 2024 it may raise doubts about their grasp of that too. read more

We have been going to Polcari's in Woburn for many years. Always a family favorite, until recently. We had a previous bad experience with service and food, but wrote it off to a bad night. We returned again this evening, only to have a very similar experience. The hostess was kind, welcoming and sat us fairly quickly. The waitress, however, was very rude,and short with us. We placed our order and asked for the bread and oil, which always was a hit with our family and friends. She abruptly told us they don't have it anymore and walked away. Our pizzas arrived and I do not know if they changed their recipe or if there is a new chef, but the pizza was horrific. It did not taste anything like the Polcari's pizza they are known for, and that we have been enjoying for so many years. Unfortunately, it tasted like frozen premade pizza or potentially Pizza that was reheated by air frying. This pizza used to be fantastic, but not anymore. we could've purchased a better pizza in the frozen section of our grocery store. As for the ambiance, it's about the same as it's always been with some areas that could use an update ,refresh and cleaning. We won't be returning. Sally's Apizza or Frank Pepe in the mall are so much better in regards to their pizzas' taste and freshness along with their cleaner, updated atmosphere, and nicer staff. read more

Gianna Grande was my waitress and stalked me on social media and harassed me, swore at me and threatened me. I had to report her to Donna Devlin of the Boston Restaurant Association. Forget this place. You need to have plenty of time if you plan on eating here. We waited almost one hour for two meals and a Pizza. (One meal just ok, one meal very good. Pizza not cooked as requested, not even close) Service was awful, waited 25 minutes in hope the watress would notice 4 empty glasses at the end of the table indicating we would like another drink, no luck there. We had to call for her. Overall, it was a horrible experience for which we paid $160.00. Polcari's should take some of that profit and hire a manager that knows how to run a resturant. read more

I am disappointed at the cost cutting that I've noticed here. For many years, I've been enjoying a Chicken Caesar salad at Polcari's. It always came a small loaf of bread and dipping sauce, as well as some toast points in the salad bowl. But I have noticed that they have not only removed the loaf of bread and dipping sauce, but also removed the toast points. It appears they replaced the breads with some awful Pepperidge farm type croutons. When I asked for a side of bread, I was told it would be a charge. read more

From the outside you would expect a decent experience. The staff was attentive, cocktails are reasonable price and the food was served quickly. Those are about the only positive things. The pizza was mediocre at best and the salad leaves were brown. It was as if the salad had been refrigerated for days prior to being served. Worst of all we were charged $7 for a soda water.. it's tap water (that tastes like bleach) with bubbles in it! A small (brown) salad, pizza, and four drinks was $90 with 20% tip.. for two people eating pizza at lunch. Ridiculous. read more
