Greek salad with "well done" steak tips.
    Chrissy M.

Kind of disappointed with this takeout. The Greek salad was fresh however the steak tips were ordered *well done* and served up quite *rare*. The "Golden BBQ chicken rice bowl" contained three pieces of breaded chicken cutlets with a very very sweet sauce served over a bed of mushy over cooked rice.

Being from NY I am pretty particular about my pizza. I will say that the crust was perfect! The closest I have ever come to NY pizza around here. However, it was way over packed with different cheeses. Margarita is best with fresh mozzarella, sauce, and basil. The tomato slices made it soggy and the extra cheese (parmesan?) made the pizza oily and gritty. I will come back but order plain cheese next time! We also got the citrus chipotle BBQ wings, which were very tasty. It all came with a free salad, which was lovely!

BBQ Chicken Pizza I ordered this bbq chicken pizza in hope id find enjoyment, but found the complete opposite...discomfort!

BBQ Chicken Pizza I ordered this bbq chicken pizza in hope id find enjoyment, but found the complete opposite...discomfort! Yes there are a couple of slices gone. That is only because i wanted to really grasp how horrible this pizza really was. At first glance i thought it was a joke like a couple of my close pals were yakin my string. Oh how I was wrong. I was just served a soupy bbq chicken pizza from the one and only Colombo. Rather upset would like a refund

After finding 4 shells in my 11 dollar dish.
    Stacey M.

I ordered Stuffed Shells with meat sauce for 11 dollars and what I received from Colombo's was appalling. I fished through the large container I was given to find 4 shells and the rest was meat, oily sauce, melted cheese and a majority of ricotta that was supposed to be inside the shells. I have never gone back to a restaurant with a walk out order but this warranted the drive. To be fair, the man behind the register looked at what I had brought back after I finished the shells, and profusely apologized, which I appreciated. I did receive my money back, but even so, the quality of this food for the people that order it out had to be reviewed. So disappointing. Looks like I need a new spot for Italian food.

Seriously?! I order a meatball parm and I get 3/4th of a sandwich?! This is pathetic.

Good for a quick bite. Food was ready on time when ordered on Yelp. The quality is average, not bad.

    Meat lasagne, flavorful and delicious!!!

My wife and I made a reservation for a Saturday night and upon arrival were seated immediately. To…read morestart, we ordered a perfectly cooked octopus antipasti, followed by tortellini alla norcina, and for a secondi the vitello alla petroniana (we were debating between this pasta/secondi combination and the pasta bolognese/swordfish special - will have to come back to get these next time!). I don't typically eat veal, and this cutlet was perfectly balanced - rich, savory, crispy, with a pleasant (but not overwhelming) salty kick from the prosciutto and parmigiano reggiano. We also ordered the spicy broccolini, which I highly recommend for the garlic lovers out there. For dessert we had the dark cherry (amarena?) gelato, which was delicious and creamy, with the perfect amount of sweetness. We shared each dish, and it was certainly plenty of food for the two of us. Prices felt reasonable for the amount and quality of what we ordered (all of the above + 2 drinks from the bar totaled approx. $160 pre-tip). The restaurant space itself is relatively small but has enough space to move around comfortably, which made it cozy without ever getting too loud (it was a pretty full house when we went), with a balanced dim lighting. Additionally, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the server patiently walked us through the menu and shared suggestions at our request. On a personal note I am especially appreciative of the staff, as I accidentally left without my hat, and the restaurant responded almost immediately to the message I sent through the restaurant website that same evening. Tl;dr - great menu, rich & hearty but balanced ingredients/recipes, and comfortable vibe. One really gets the impression that the husband/wife owners had a specific vision that they successfully brought into reality.

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, so it's a great place for date night. The Fantastic: 1. Service -- our waiter was amazing, he took great care of us. We wanted for nothing! 2. Tortellini Alla Norcina -- this was delish. It was creamy, a little funky, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. 3. Cacio e Pepe -- also delish. 4. Mussels -- perfectly cooked, big and plump, and the bread to sop up the broth was also yummy. The plates are beautiful, but I think that plating and presentation takes priority over the food sometimes: 1. Bruschetta -- this was supposed to come with a balsamic drizzle, but it was served on a wooden plate and the drizzle was tiny and thin, so there wasn't really any balsamic. The dish could have used it to help cut through the cheese. 2. Bombolone -- dry, there was not a lot of custard in the pastry, and the surrounding sauces were more decorative than helpful. We did not enjoy the mixed drinks, they were all on the sour side and watery. So I would stick with wine or beer, the wine we had was excellent. Overall, we had a really nice time and would return.

Especially the home made biscuits. These were amazing. Hot, flaky, very much home made with a maple butter that is sinful. Entrees were mushroom tortellini and eggplant parm. Both portions were large and delicious. Very classic red sauce restaurant. For dessert it was limoncello cake and tiramisu. Both, light and tasty. If you want to stay local and have good Italian food, with a very nice ambiance, then this is the place. FYI -- park behind the building, there's plenty of free space and take the elevator up. And do make a reservation.

We started our evening in the outdoor dining area as the main dining room is a bit loud and it was a beautiful warm evening with the sun starting to set as we arrived. We salivated over the drinks menu but decided not to imbibe and save our use of calories for later. We started with the Stuffed Mushrooms, which were 5 large mushroom caps stuffed with a meatball like stuffing. They were really yummy and somehow escaped into our bellies before I could get a picture. Whoops. For entrees, we ordered the Pasta Louise (penne with chicken, artichoke hearts, and more n a creamy sauce) and Steak Pasta (penne with thin slices of steak, feta, and a light dressing). Both were delicious. The Pasta Louise is popular for a good reason - it is full of flavor and definitely worth ordering again! The steak pasta was good with a much milder flavor profile. The ingredients for everything tasted fresh. The only disappointment was the bread and butter which was a white scali-style bread with little plastic butter packets; I prefer dipping olive oil and spices with a heartier bread. The service was prompt, personal, and friendly. The main indoor space is a bit loud for my taste, so I will prefer to go again when I know I can sit at one of the pleasant outdoor tables. Of the many Italian restaurants in the area, this has been here for decades with good reason - they have a solid business. Enjoy!
