Large Hawaiian pizza to go
Sharrun N.

We tried it on a whim and were very happy. We ordered the Hawaiian pizzza then tok a walk on the nearby trail while they made it. We were gonna have it at home later but it smelled so good we ate it sooner. It was really yummy. Service was very good too It was a fortunate find!

My meal

Just because you put Salami in it doesn't make it an Italian sub traditional Italian sub relies on a trio or quartet of meats not just salami and ham. $24 for small sub with fries and drink Not worth it

Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken Salad

This was probably the best calzone I've ever had. I have been trying to find a good calzone near the Stoneham area and nothing even comes close to this. The calzone was fully stuffed and exactly what I ordered. The Greek salad was amazing too. Fantastic portion sizes, extremely timely, and the perfect takeout place! I also have had their Greek kabob wraps too many times to count and is by far the best in the area. Highly recommend Stoneham Pizza!

Mushroom pepperoni broccoli pizza. Crunchy deiciousness! September 2020

Yummy carbs!! The pizza had a Crunchy crust, ample toppings, cheesy base and medium rise. I couldn't cal it thin crust and it's not quite thick, so I'd say medium. I ordered a one size pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and broccoli and it was delicious. Hubby ordered the large chicken Parmesan calzone and loved it. We also got a small side order of mozzarella sticks which were just fine. This was our first time ordering here, and we were pleasantly surprised. We will certainly be ordering again!

Small steak and cheese pizza. It was hard waiting until I got home to dig in!

This is my family's go to for pizza and calzones. Their salads and subs are good as well, and they have the best onion rings around! Their service is quick, and they're always busy which tells you how good they are.

Some local needs to show the owners the menu which is on the Yelp app. My steak bomb was $4 more than listed in the pdf menu. Thanks. Driving back home now. Can anyone help?

My husband is not a big fan of sweets, but after I came home with one of the fruit covered specialty pastries, he now asks me to bring one home whenever I go. My family and I have also tried some of the savory options for lunch recently. My husband had the Modena on a croissant and he said it was the best breakfast sandwich he's ever had. His only regret was not ordering two! I had the Milano. It was perfect. The chicken was light and crispy, and the veggies were fresh. The crisp bread contained just the right amount of mayo. My mom had the Minestrone, which contained a very generous amount of various vegetables and greens. She enjoyed her soup very much. My dad had the bolognese. The sauce was rich and the meat, tender. The pasta itself was, of course, excellent. Lastly, I've been several times for the coffee. The Marocchino is definitely my guilty pleasure. I've also enjoyed the brewed coffee! Looking forward to future visits!

When we visited, the owner herself was working solo, which made the experience even more special--she was incredibly welcoming and kind. The cappuccino was excellent, and the overall vibe was calm and relaxing. Such a lovely spot, and we'll definitely be back.

That said, I happened to be in the area for an appointment that finished up at lunch time and decided to grab an Italian sub to bring back to my office. The thing that stands out the most about Anthony's is the massive size of the subs, but the quality of the bread and meat as well as the overall value should definitely be noted as well. I went with a loaded Italian sub on the braided roll. As I mentioned above, the bread is great, much better than a typical sub roll you get at most sub shops in the area, they pile on so much meat that eating it all in a single sitting ought to win you an award. On top of that, it's loaded up with onions, pickles, hots, then seasoned and a sprinkle of oil. The flavors are great and at $15.50 for a sub that is as big as my head, it's hard to beat the value as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and maybe even worth venturing from a couple of towns away. I know I'll be back again next time I'm in the area and you should too!

Ordered a regular chicken bacon ranch cheese steak with a couple modifications. They repeated the order back once when ordering and again while preparing to make sure they got everything right. The food was better than expected from a chain restaurant and was still piping hot after returning home to eat it. I thought the sub looked a little small but it was actually very filling! I do like to try new things, so I ordered shortly after they opened in my town. I ordered a turkey sub and it was flavorless. The tomatoes were under-ripe, the turkey had no discernible flavor. It was beyond bland. Still, I like to give the benefit of the doubt. Next visit I ordered their equivalent of an Italian sandwich. Same deal. Bland, bad quality ingredients, and worst of all, expensive. I don't understand how it survives in a town with so many great locally-owned sandwich and pizza places. I regret giving them any money, but it was probably on a Sunday when a lot of local places are closed. Even so it was a terrible experience.
