Ambience was okay. We ordered many items - Raj kachauri, masala dosa, vadda pau, pau bhaji etc. Food was not upto the mark. There was no taste and lot of salt in couple of items. read more

Satisfied a screaming craving at NeeHee's yesterday. First time visit and was not disappointed. They do have lunch specials, for less cost than other restaurants. I had the Masala Dosa and thought it was wonderful. The server was very friendly and patient with me. The restaurant was clean with an open atmosphere and well lit with music and TVs. Am so going back to try more items. BTW--check out their great website. There's photos of the dishes with descriptions. read more

Portions are HUGE! Just check out the picture of the dosa. It's like genetically grown or something lol. But in any case, the food is very tasty. We had dosa, chole batura, dosa and vada sambar. The vada was ok, but everything else was awesome. Place is reasonably priced as well. read more

Neehee's Hanover Park, Illinois - Paper Dosa - Indian Near Me - Hanover Park, Illinois

We ordered pani puri, dosa and 2 types of chaat. Except Pani puri I personally didn't like anything. This is all a kind of street food. How is street food this expensive? I love that you've got screens and monitors to order food so things are smooth and easily done but at the same time the food taste needs to be tasty. Chaats are suppose to have spicy and tangy taste but all I taste is sweet. Dosa was pipping hot but the sambhar was absolutely cold and super thick. Its good to know that this place exists close by but I am not sure if I'll be visiting this over-priced place for street food again. read more

Best Indian chaat place in Chicagoland Area. I absolutely love the whole vibe of the place. Pani puri is on point.. and there are so many options to choose from! Highly recommend! Go try it out! read more

Neehee's Hanover Park, Illinois - Pani Puri Mini Idly with Sambhar and Ghee - Indian Near Me - Hanover Park, Illinois

For the hygiene and appearance part, pretty good, one of the better desi joints in the area, tried the alu tilki which was okay, alu was not fried crispy and the masala was a bit on the mild side, papri bhallay was also not chat level masala, other items look promising, I will give them another chance. read more

This is my new favorite place. I'm not a vegetarian but enjoyed this food so much. Amazing!

Neehee's is a AMERICAN-indian fast food restaurant. If you are looking for authentic tasting Indian food, do not come to Neehee's. This place will slice for people who are not indian and want a quick fix of Indian food. But if you're indian, you won't like it. The food has no heat level at all. Typically, Indians love their heat but the food they make here is just accommodating for people who are not indian who can handle NO heat at all. I gave this review a extra star because if you are really starving then this food is ok to eat. But the sabzi is pasty texture for dosa and sambhar is oily and watery. Not to mention they only give you 5 oz cup read more

delicious food, good friendly service and good Ambiance . we come here to dine in more often.

Good food and great venue. Many different options to choose from. Great addition to the neighborhood.

The food was terrible. I ended up with food poisoning from the Samosa chaat. Please avoid at all costs.

Went to eat at this place. Saw an employee in the kitchen making food with no mask on his face and nose. I brought this to the manager's/owner's attention, but he just starred at me seemed as if he is not at all bothered about it. He didn't even said anything to the employee but got busy in taking orders. Will never come back here and advice all not to go to this place as they seem not to be worried about safety in the middle of a pandemic! read more

This is a great little street food restaurant. The menu is limited and includes only vegetarian options. I had the New Delhi chaat, which was very tasty. I want to go back to try some of the puri dishes. read more

Good vegetarian Indian option. Chenna batura was good. Dosa was good too. Chaat was pretty good too. Definitely worth coming back to.

Food was really good. Price was a little steep but the flavors were excellent so I will be back. Wish they had opened this in Schaumburg instead of Hanover park. read more

I love it that this place is so close to my house. Quick easy place to get my Indian fixing. I just wish they had non veg options , I probably would visit there more often. read more

relatively expensive but worth the price point. good food, great flavors and no nonsense clean ambiance .. We are big fans of this place now.. read more

Food is good but overpriced especially considering it all vegetarian food! Could easily spend $70-$80 just appetizers for a family of 4, one could buy a hearty dinner for the family. read more

Overly priced menu for a substandard tasting food, tried food two times and only to get disappointed. Unlimited Pani Puri wasn't available because of some reason, ice cream is more iced than any flavor, indo Chinese was salty and oily--not making another trip. read more

Went for dinner this evening. The restaurant ambiance was lively and the service decent, but the food was quite disappointing. My group ordered the masala dosa, chili paneer dosa wrap, and gobi manchurian. The dosas were served room temperature so were questionably fresh, the sambar was watery and very salty. The Indo-Chinese dishes tasted a little better but were also too heavily salted and very oily. The restaurant was also too cold inside for this December evening - we and many of the other patrons wore our jackets during our entire meal. We don't plan to return, and don't recommend to others. read more

The paper masala dosa and the mango lassi were out of this world good!! I thought the prices were fair for quality and quantity of food. The Channa masala was very very good (perfectly spiced albeit a bit on oily side). The staff there was helpful, polite and made me feel like home. Looking forward to going back again and again. read more

very poor customer service. wanted to order new chinese cousine over the phone that they have been advertising new lately. the lady over there was sooo rude and arrogant. and guss what they don't take typical orders over the phone. i don't think they want business. for dine in some of the foods are uncooked. very unprofessional read more

This place used to be clean. I noticed server and cooks don't wear gloves and mask on..Yuk!!!

Delicious food. Tried their Tikki chholey, Raj kachori and dahi puri. All were amazing!! Their ice creams are worth trying too. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area. read more

Neehee's hit the spot! I had been keeping my eye on this space while driving around Army trail road and it was time we ordered food. The dishes we ordered reminded me of all the street carts we ate during our time in India. Pav bhaji, Szechuan noodles, manchurian were just a few of the items we ordered and boy was it delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating during our visit. Our family was very happy with all the dishes and we can not wait to come back and try the thalis! I would highly recommend coming here and checking out the spread they offer. read more

We were REALLY looking forward to trying this restaurant but the order-taker barely spoke English and could not answer simple questions. For example, the menu had Samosa Chaat. Under this it said, "Available three ways: Dahi, Ragda, Chole." We asked what those words meant. No answer. Asked "what is Dahi?" She said "small." We said "so those words mean small, medium, large?" Answer, "No. Small." Then we asked what the little symbols beneath each dish meant. No answer. She went and got a second person who spoke better English. Same question about little symbols. She had no idea. We finally figured out that one meant Vegan, another Gluten Free, but we didn't know what the others meant. No signs anywhere, or online, explaining the little symbols. People there had no idea. Still don't know what Dahi, Ragda and Chole mean! Ordered a couple of dishes and crossed our fingers. Food was tasty but the ordering experience was pretty awful. Seems like the people who take your order ought to know what their own menu means. read more

Neehee's Hanover Park, Illinois - Menu with Dahi Ragda Chole under Samosa Chat and other dishes. - Indian Near Me - Hanover Park, Illinois

I'm not very familiar with Indian food so I came in with some questions. A lady helped me initially, I asked her some questions about certain items on the menu, her response was "Here, here's the lunch menu" and obviously didn't want to help me. I went to one of the men behind the counter next with a few questions and he was more helpful. I ordered the Chole Bature which was really good, the fried bread that accompanies is to die for. I probably wouldn't suggest coming here if you're not already familiar with Indian food or haven't completely reviewed the menu. read more

Went to Neehees today and a New love! The orange potatoes. Amazing taste combo. Also brought home the veggie pakoda special ($10 offer) and the chili paneer. Everything was delivered piping hot. Steamed my car windows as I brought it back to work. Thanks! Adding these to my usual standby of gobi manchuri. read more

This place is pretty good but the prices are fairly high. I wish they had a sampler because I kinda wanted to try everything but the high prices forced me to choose just one or two things. I've been a few times. The kids enjoy the cheese dosa. The Mango lassi is super overpriced. I had the idli sambar and the chole bhature and the dinner thali special. Food was good overall but it's a little slow and expensive. I think I mentioned that. They buzz you for each entree as it is ready. It's a little annoying going back up 5x to the counter. They have nice electronic menus but they are not really in the flow of the line so you lose your spot if you want to look at options. I really think they should consider a sampler so people can try different options without spending the bank. I would also recommend they bring food out to the tables or just wait a few seconds to combine the order. People and servers were mostly friendly read more

I love this place!! We were here for brunch today and we ordered so many things to eat! The masala dosa was my favorite as I live South Indian food. But the chili idly, pav bhaji and chana bhatura were yummy too! We all were pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend this place! read more

Poor customer service. And they got my order wrong. I won't be going back. The staff was focused on someone else's order while I was left to wait. Someone came by and asked how they could help. But they didn't listen to me when I said my name and that I ordered over the phone. So I waited longer and someone else helped me. Of course, I find out my food had been bagged and put on the side for pick up. I guess that's what I get for being patient. read more

Ambience is nice. Place is clean and food was pretty fresh. A bit pricey but comparable to other places that serve Indian street food. Kitchen is visible from the ordering station and everything looks on the up and up. Will return. read more

Loved the food from NeeHee's. Very fresh and tasted delicious. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

WOW -- been driving by for awhile and finally had a friend go with me to check it out --- I'm vegetarian but knew nothing about Indian food -- the person behind the counter took the time to explain to me about the menu and I ordered --- having no idea what it was going to taste like but OMG pure heaven!!! I've been back several times - have taken friends there and every time is a perfect experience. Food is great - service is great - clean / friendly / everything you would want. read more

Neehees is not your ordinary fast food restaurant. We live in the neighborhood and thought we would stop in, pleased that another burger place had not popped up. We were very pleased with the diversity of the menu, large portion sizes, and fresh quality of dishes. We had (from the lunch menu) Bhel Puri (a great cold dish), mini Guj Thali (everything had just the right amount of spice and heat) and Chole Bhature. Everything was cooked to order, wait time was reasonable, staff was friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. The interactive large screen menu helps those who are not familiar with Indian dishes. Very happy to see Neehees at this location. We will be back. read more
