Tasty bites is a fast casual type of strip mall eatery…read more Solid vegetarian dosa option and their veg Indo Chinese slaps. They also bake a decent Indian veg pizza. Served individual. Worth a taste if pizza is on your mind but may not sway those wanting the traditional. My usual is a ghee dosa and gobi manchurian with gravy. They make their chutneys in-house and they are tasty. My singular largest gripe with dosa shops is the quality of chutneys and flavorings. If they don't get enough business the chutneys may go into the fridge or freezer. That's fine so long as they're watching how long it keeps in either storage. Also, when it comes time to use, they give it the time necessary to completely thaw. Discovering frozen chutney is a no-no and the flavor is different. Some dosa shops try newer flavors that just don't meet the expectations. These guys stick to what the fans know and they receive enough business that everything is fresh. Really wish this business was closer so that I could hit it more often but this area is quite a trek. **Specials are offered daily and on weekends /for games they run buffets. I wondered about the chefs they keep so I inquired. They have a trio?, anyway, trained chefs from different areas of India. This is important because dosa is mainly a staple of south India. Some other regional Indian restaurants try to offer it but fail at the production because their chefs don't know the finer details. They also offer newer styles of dosa variety. I am so stuck on the old school I haven't yet tried. Maybe you will?

We ordered the Pav Bhaji pizza, which is not the best. My husband said it tasted like burnt Pav Bhaji. I just thought it was overly dry and didn't taste like Pav Bhaji. We, also, ordered the Aloo Kulcha, which isn't bad for the price. The only issue i had was that it tasted like an Aloo Paratha. the Manchurian with Semi-Gravy was delicious!! These were the BEST manchurians I ever had. The gravy was super salty, so next time I would definitely get it without any gravy. The hakka noodles are soo tasty. The kaju masala was the best thing!! I still dream of the creaminess and full-flavored curry it has. I highly recommend anyone trying it.

The prices are really good definitely worth coming here if you want to save money and get a good bite to eat. They have a fountain drinks, and they also have canned and bottled beverages. My husband ordered the all four bowl which has Chicken, Shrimp, Kefta, and Falafel. Rice and salad. I ordered a large lentil soup and falafel (4) The food is really delicious. The falafel were a little overcooked and kinda hard for me to chew, but they were still delicious. The soup is really hot and takes a while to cool down so this is perfect to take to go. I wish they had a bowl that I could eat it in here that wouldn't keep the soup so hot but other than that, I really did like it. If you're in the area and wanna give this place a try I highly recommend it. It's really good and the prices are great . The lady working the counter was very polite and courteous so she gave us service with a smile and when everybody was leaving, she cleaned up the tables and kept the place looking nice.

The service, god the service, these ladies are on top of their game.... I have not had service like this in a long time like before covid long time! These women are hard working, extremely kind and attentive! The food tastes incredible!!!! Not salty, not full of oil, not over cooked, not sitting there for hours, not too spicy... I could keep going but just come try it for yourself! The crab Rangoons were like fluffy light cloud puffs with the perfect amount of filling and the onions in the filling were sweet which were perfect! We had the dinner for two: came with appetizer, soup, 2 entrees and choice of rice! It could of honestly fed 6 of us..... The owner also owns a poke place in Bartlett which I frequent often that is as equally as delicious! All and all A+, 100%, 10/10 best Chinese food ever!

The owner was such a lovely woman, with a beautiful smile that would go around the world. Wait, wait wait! The best part is how dog-friendly they are! They have some fresh water and little mini Milk-Bones out for the pups. So next time, perhaps we will pack up our family of 5 (husband, wife, Bailey the dog, and Mashi and Jimin Jin the cats on harnesses) and all head here. Sadly, no vegan options, but any vegetarian or omnivore will do well here. Tip: order their hedgehog with walnuts! My husband thinks they are sublime.

Not gonna lie, Australians have meat pies as a common food, and I'm not sure why the hell it's not caught on more in the US. Meat+ pastry +small size = amazing. They've a nice big selection of meat pies and rolls, prices were surprisingly reasonable, and their pastries won me over quite easily. (Cinnamon rolls and scones!). I was surprised my kids liked the pies and rolls too. My son's pretty picky (ugh), but he asked for a 2nd sausage roll which was nice to see. Didn't finish it, but even liking it enough to ask for another and eat half is like Xmas come early for us. Flavors and textures are great! Just watch burning your tongue... which I did twice in our visit. Worth it though. Wanted to make sure I post up here since it's a local place opened recently and need it to stick around for a good long time. Only other place to get meat pies is downtown chicago which is annoying to get to.
