Tried this place after a soccer tournament and glad we did. The chicken and rice soup was so good! I then got the chicken bacon ranch melt and loved it!!! The chocolate banana milkshake was on point as well!

I would probably skip the Omelette and maybe just get scrambled eggs because I need a full order of these next time!

One of my best friends and I were having a girls day on Saturday and we were looking for somewhere we hadn't been before. It was early afternoon and we wanted some place that offered both breakfast and lunch options. Let me tell you I am not exaggerating when I say that the menu is huge! It's almost kind of too much. That said I do love some good options. The staff was all very nice and attentive enough, but we had three different servers which was kind of jarring. We both got a half order of biscuits and gravy and my best friend got a skillet and I got an omelette. I got a bacon and cheese omelette which you will see in the pictures, there was no shortage of bacon. But again it was almost too much. I would go back in a heartbeat for the biscuits and gravy though! Some of the fluffiest biscuits I've ever had in my life and the gravy had a fantastic sausage flavor! We both also had pancakes and those are pretty darn delicious too! Overall if I'm in the area I would definitely keep it as an option, but I don't know that I would go out of my way to go back! That said if you're in the area and you're looking for a fun and cozy Family Diner please that has lots of options, especially if you have picky eaters, definitely give JoJo's a try!

3 sweet berry crepes and combo 1.

Ok, me and hubby were out for grub on a cold Saturday morning this past weekend. Knowing we'd not stopped here, we pulled in and decided to have our repast at Jo Jo's. Walking in felt like a bit of a step back into time - a bit ragged around the edges (which frankly caused the 4 star review; the men's room really needed some updating) but the prices looked pretty reasonable, and we sat ourselves down to see how good their food would be. Hubby quickly ordered a Combo 1 - it came with a small juice (which I commandeered as he ordered a full-size grapefruit juice for himself)- a couple eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausage. On tasting it? Hubby was just fine with it - no quarrels at all. I went for the 3 Sweet Berry crepes - now, they folded in fresh strawberries and blueberries - very nice! But we didn't get just creme topping - it came with swizzles of some sweet fruity-style syrup that I'm not sure belonged. Still, it tasted good- and who was I to judge further? I also ordered a side of rye toast. Now here's my normal gripe - why, oh why, can't the toast be made literally right before serving? Instead the toast is lukewarm at best and has no "heat" for the butter spread? Oh boy. Otherwise? Good stuff all around. Will we come back? Oh sure! We could tell it was family-owned and operated - always a plus! Tks Jo Jo's - we'll be back!

I was running errands in the area and decided to try Jo Jo's Restaurant for lunch. When you walk in the door it will immediately remind you of a diner or cafe from the 1950's. The decor and decorations were so incredibly cute. I fell in love right away. I had the Chocolatina Cakes (Four Chocolate Chip-Infused Cakes with Banana and Nuts, Drizzled with Chocolate Syrup, Topped with Whipped Cream). They tasted great. My only complaint was the price. I thought that $16.00 was a little expensive for what I got. But I left with a full tummy. My mother ordered the Grilled Cheese. That came with French fries. Our server was very friendly. The Grilled Cheese was $14.00. I recommend Jo Jo's Restaurant for good food and atmosphere even if the prices are a little high.

The steak skillet tasted great. The meat was flavorful and tender. I simply wish the hash browns were a little more crunchy; the dish is lacking in texture in my opinion. The cinnamon raisin French toast was disappointing. Because it lacks cinnamon flavor and contains no raisins.

My return visit to Jo Jo's wasn't as solid as the first time. I had a greek omelette that wasn't as cohesive. There was definitely too much feta cheese and it wasn't equally distributed throughout the omelette. The pancakes didn't seem as fluffy either. I didn't get to taste the veggie panini, but my wife did not like it at all.

Wow, just googled a place for breakfast, this place came up, at first I wasn't sure because it's in a parking lot, but the breakfast was awesome the ham steak was incredibly juicy, the pancakes were perfect, and the coffee was delicious. The service was awesome, very attentive. Absolutely great place.

Breakfast of champions So thankful to be a part of this collaboration with @jojos.restaurant in Schaumburg! I've never been here before but after this experience I need to go back! All the dishes are ginormous and honestly I didn't expect them to be so big and tasty! pictured here are the heart to heart breakfast with the cheese slices on top, fiesta chicken panini, strawberry banana crepes, and the breakfast dish came with multigrain pancakes and a fruit cup so I definitely did not go hungry after this meal! Everything you see on this table is as good as it looks, especially those crepes The service was IMMACULATE our waitress came by every other 5-10 minutes and served us more coffee and kept asking if we were okay and she was amazing! The ambiance is very homey and it's a place where you could go with your family and have brunch or you could enjoy it by the bar on your own either way if you go by this restaurant stop by and check out their huge menu!

When do they stop serving breakfast?

All day breakfast. I've ordered off the menu all items at various times of day. On occasion they do close early (mid day) for a holiday.

Can you get breakfast anytime of the day?

No, was there one morning, lites on, doors locked

If you're a beer drinker, they have a massive selection on tap (about 90 taps--and no, that's not a typo!). They also have a large patio that looks like a great spot when the weather is nice. Inside, there's a good mix of low-tops, high-tops, banquettes, and booths. All the tabletops feature copper tops with wood trim, and exposure to water and food over time has given each table a unique patina. We arrived right as they were switching over from the brunch menu to dinner, and the staff made us feel very welcome. What We Ordered: Smoked Brisket Reuben Eggrolls: We ordered these special eggrolls for the table. My friend has a shellfish allergy, and since many traditional eggrolls contain shrimp, he was excited to try these. He said they were the best eggrolls he's ever had (though he admitted he doesn't eat them often!). He paired it with a Guinness Zero non-alcoholic draught and was amazed by how close it tasted to the original. Fish Tacos ($19): Recommended by another reviewer, these come with three cornmeal-battered, fried Mahi-Mahi tacos topped with cilantro lime cream and fresh micro cilantro. They were crispy and very tasty. If you're usually sensitive to cilantro, you might still enjoy these--I mostly tasted a bright, lemony freshness rather than heavy cilantro. Sides (Broccoli Rabe & Asparagus): I substituted chips for a vegetable side. Due to a mix-up in the kitchen, I got to try the broccoli rabe first, though it turned out way too spicy for anyone at our table. My actual order was asparagus--my absolute favorite--but it was a bit disappointing, as the bottom half of each stalk was woody and fibrous. Fish & Chips ($21.50): My friend went with this traditional entry. At that price point, he was expecting three fillets, but he couldn't finish the two that were served and took some home. Overall, a solid entrée. Classic Breakfast ($15.50): My husband got this from the brunch menu. He was very pleased with the scrambled eggs, potatoes, thick-sliced bacon, and sausage links. Overall, a solid visit with great variety on the menu!
