But today I saw a sign posted on the kitchen door that read "ICE agents were not allowed inside restaurant and would be considered trespassers ". Shame on you JOJO!!! This is your average "greasy spoon" type of restaurant. Their soups are really good, but most meals don't include soup, and you have to pay a lot extra for a bowl. Their basics like BLT sandwich doesn't include it, and with only fries, it's like $16. And the amount of bacon is like two slices to a mound of iceberg lettuce. Their breakfasts, on the other hand, can be very large, but most food is overpriced for what it is. This isn't an everyday go to place for me, and I only go when a family member invites me. Been going here for many years. I like many items on the menu. Today I ordered Heart to Heart to be delivered. It was on time, too bad it was missing key items. No side of fruit. No butter or jelly for whole grain toast I called restaurant and they told me I could go there and pick it up. Not an option for me since I don't have a car and I live too far to walk, this is why I had it delivered. Very disappointed. One of my best friends and I were having a girls day on Saturday and we were looking for somewhere we hadn't been before. It was early afternoon and we wanted some place that offered both breakfast and lunch options. Let me tell you I am not exaggerating when I say that the menu is huge! It's almost kind of too much. That said I do love some good options. The staff was all very nice and attentive enough, but we had three different servers which was kind of jarring. We both got a half order of biscuits and gravy and my best friend got a skillet and I got an omelette. I got a bacon and cheese omelette which you will see in the pictures, there was no shortage of bacon. But again it was almost too much. I would go back in a heartbeat for the biscuits and gravy though! Some of the fluffiest biscuits I've ever had in my life and the gravy had a fantastic sausage flavor! We both also had pancakes and those are pretty darn delicious too! Overall if I'm in the area I would definitely keep it as an option, but I don't know that I would go out of my way to go back! That said if you're in the area and you're looking for a fun and cozy Family Diner please that has lots of options, especially if you have picky eaters, definitely give JoJo's a try! read more

We have several of these greek diners near us, although fewer serve dinner than used to. My last time here I got the gyros dinner which was great, but what you expect at these places. Tonlght I tried their roast pork dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and clam chowder. It was a ton of food. The clam chowder was piping hot and good. The pork was excellent quality and the gravy not salty. The stuffing has cranberries in it which I loved and the mashed potatoes are real. My wife and i both loved the roasted veggies. Not mushy, cooked right, seasoned, just excellent. My son likes the gluten free pancakes and my wife's teriaki chicken breast was great too. The staff is friendly and the place is super clean. Decorated for Christmas, it was a jolly time! Will be back! read more

Ok, me and hubby were out for grub on a cold Saturday morning this past weekend. Knowing we'd not stopped here, we pulled in and decided to have our repast at Jo Jo's. Walking in felt like a bit of a step back into time - a bit ragged around the edges (which frankly caused the 4 star review; the men's room really needed some updating) but the prices looked pretty reasonable, and we sat ourselves down to see how good their food would be. Hubby quickly ordered a Combo 1 - it came with a small juice (which I commandeered as he ordered a full-size grapefruit juice for himself)- a couple eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausage. On tasting it? Hubby was just fine with it - no quarrels at all. I went for the 3 Sweet Berry crepes - now, they folded in fresh strawberries and blueberries - very nice! But we didn't get just creme topping - it came with swizzles of some sweet fruity-style syrup that I'm not sure belonged. Still, it tasted good- and who was I to judge further? I also ordered a side of rye toast. Now here's my normal gripe - why, oh why, can't the toast be made literally right before serving? Instead the toast is lukewarm at best and has no "heat" for the butter spread? Oh boy. Otherwise? Good stuff all around. Will we come back? Oh sure! I was running errands in the area and decided to try Jo Jo's Restaurant for lunch. When you walk in the door it will immediately remind you of a diner or cafe from the 1950's. The decor and decorations were so incredibly cute. I fell in love right away. I had the Chocolatina Cakes (Four Chocolate Chip-Infused Cakes with Banana and Nuts, Drizzled with Chocolate Syrup, Topped with Whipped Cream). They tasted great. My only complaint was the price. I thought that $16.00 was a little expensive for what I got. But I left with a full tummy. My mother ordered the Grilled Cheese. That came with French fries. Our server was very friendly. The Grilled Cheese was $14.00. I recommend Jo Jo's Restaurant for good food and atmosphere even if the prices are a little high. read more

5 stars all the way! I have many food allergies and the staff was very accommodating. The food and milkshakes were excellent . Also, the ambiance of the restaurant was very creative. The inside was a 70/80 vibe ( I love how they had Save By The Bell on tv lol) and the outside was so much fun. The outside had a Halloween theme with pumpkin everywhere, also including a bar and a bunch of games. I definitely recommend with your friends or date night ! read more

The steak skillet tasted great. The meat was flavorful and tender. I simply wish the hash browns were a little more crunchy; the dish is lacking in texture in my opinion. The cinnamon raisin French toast was disappointing. Because it lacks cinnamon flavor and contains no raisins. read more

My return visit to Jo Jo's wasn't as solid as the first time. I had a greek omelette that wasn't as cohesive. There was definitely too much feta cheese and it wasn't equally distributed throughout the omelette. The pancakes didn't seem as fluffy either. Wow, just googled a place for breakfast, this place came up, at first I wasn't sure because it's in a parking lot, but the breakfast was awesome the ham steak was incredibly juicy, the pancakes were perfect, and the coffee was delicious. This place has consistently delicious food! I bring my kids here for the turkey and mashed potatoes. The turkey here is hands down the best around so I of course love their turkey club but the chicken salad is also not to be missed. All the dishes are ginormous and honestly I didn't expect them to be so big and tasty! pictured here are the heart to heart breakfast with the cheese slices on top, fiesta chicken panini, strawberry banana crepes, and the breakfast dish came with multigrain pancakes and a fruit cup so I definitely did not go hungry after this meal! Everything you see on this table is as good as it looks, especially those crepes The service was IMMACULATE our waitress came by every other 5-10 minutes and served us more coffee and kept asking if we were okay and she was amazing! Katie we had a very good experience here. Our server Katie had excellent attention to detail. She was 3 steps ahead the entire time. From the moment we sat down, we didn't feel rushed. Katie brought extra napkins. She also had a friendly personality & was not flustered we had two littles with us. Food was tasty, especially my Cream of Potato soup. When she brought me my to go container, she put half a cup of soup in it so I'd have a full bowl once I filled it. She was consistently great throughout her service. When we entered the restaurant, the bus boy served us coffee because the waitress was very busy. She only three tables. After I drank my 1st cup of coffee, she came and took our order. She never came back to refill my cup. I had to track down the bus boy again to refill my coffee because my waitress was nowhere to be seen. After I ate my food I immediately had the run to the bathroom and was sick. I don't know what they cooked their food in, but I have been sick all day in the bathroom after I ate potatoes and eggs, I will never go here again nor recommend it. The owner needs to clean the place up, retrain his staff . I think my eggs and potatoes were cooked in old oil. The potatoes tasted a little funny. I suggest you avoid this place. read more

I found out about this restaurant while listening to the Radio Shopping Network, so I tried it out. I had the Reuben sandwich with a fruit cup which was delicious. Then I saw the waitress delivering fried mushrooms to another customer. So I ordered a batch. These mushrooms are not the frozen mushrooms thrown into a deep fryer but rather, they are fresh mushrooms that are breaded and deep fried. Huge mushrooms, but be careful, they come out piping hot. We arrived Sunday morning at about 6:30am, we were the only ones in the restaurant. This is a small mom and pop shop type place. They have added their own touches for social distancing. Service was great, as it should have been, we were the only customers there. Food was good! Scrambler wrap was delicious, hot sauce and sour cream come along with it. Hash browns were ok, I like mine extra crispy. I did ask for extra crispy but did not feel like sending it back. Stuffed Strawberry French toast was very good as well. OJ was was more like a minute made OJ. Definitely did not taste fresh squeezed. OJ was $4.25 for a large. All was great at this establishment! read more
