    Samosa Chaatand Anda Pulav

The food was not that great. I was expecting anda pulav to be tasty since I asked the server to recommend the popular dish there which I ordered. I mentioned no sweet sauce in my samosa chat but it was sweet. I figured out that it had sweet yogurt but the server never confirmed that they couldn't modify. The service was not so good. The ambience was okay for fast food but not a family restaurant.

Plenty of options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians Clean place. Fast food place Sandwich was good but greasy food. Choose your spice level wisely because their food runs spicy

What a fantastic Indian eatery! From the food to the staff to the ambiance, I really enjoyed EggHolic. First off this place is like a little taste of India in the Chicago Burbs. There's parking right in front and the location itself is medium-sized with plenty of seating inside. It's decorated nicely with fun wording on the walls and bright yellow colors. It's counter service so you order at the front counter for takeout or dine-in. The chicken masala sandwich was flavorful, just the right amount of spicy, and delicious. It was my first Indian inspired sandwich ever and it did NOT disappoint. The mango lassi was creamy, thick, sweet, and mango-y. It was perfect for an accompanying drink or even as a dessert. Everything was reasonably priced and I was welcomed and helped by their friendly staff too. Truly no complaints here. I enjoyed EggHolic and definitely will be back!

I went on Wed night after 8 pm. The cashier didn't greet me immediately, he seemed flustered and inexperienced because there were constant customers coming in. No problem. After he came back to the register, he seemed to be in a rush. The lack of good customer service, I had to deduct half a point. I got the chicken masala sandwich, chips, and mango lassi. I ordered this non spicy but it just had a small kick to it. That was fine with me. It had the same quality as the Niles location so that is a 5. I could honestly eat this every week because I love that savory taste with that extra kick. Mango lassi was delish. This is actually 4.5 for me, if the service was better then it would have been a perfect 5. This was located in a strip mall at the very end on the left side. Plenty of parking. Prices were very fair for the amount of food served.

This was my first opportunity to try Indian Street Food. Located in a business Indian center,EggHolic offers fresh food creations of eggs cooked in different ways with a variety of sauces and spices. They also offer different types of sandwiches, rice and chaat. I had the chicken masala with a spicey chicken between a two layered grilled cheese sandwich with veggies. Just the right amount of spice and the bread was amazing ! Since my wife is Gluten free and they didn't have any options for her they suggested we try their homemade Samosa which was a crispy fried pastry puff filled with spices, potatoes and peas served with a sweet sauce. Very good. We both had a Mango Lassi which was not too sweet and had the consistency of a creamy yogurt drink. The interior is super clean and the staff is super friendly. I would like to go back and try some of their egg dishes with their unique blend of spices.

Street food is my jam! Plenty of parking but rolling up on a weekend can make for some busy times since it's in the same plaza as Patel Brothers. Tried the Chicken Masala sandwich with the mango lassi and really enjoyed them! The sandwich was served with some packages of ketchup and it added a nice tangy acidity to the sandwich. I enjoyed the crisp bread and the veggie fillings as well. Also ordered the samosa chaat and surti gotalo. Both had a nice portion. I enjoyed the samosa chaat with all the different veggies on top. The surti gotalo I ordered with roti...overall was just ok for me, I enjoyed the fried eggs on top, the shredded/chopped hard boiled eggs were subtle in flavor compared to the other items I tried. I like that they're open late and have a number of tables and booths to dine in.

Food tastes great today and I like the service Here. Also it is good for friendly gatherings.

When you first walk in you smell the yummy food and hear the most relaxing / calm music. We sat at a booth and grabbed a menu. I love that they have daily specials. I ordered the (Monday) Daily Special Samosa, Anda Masala 1/2 sandwich and potato chips, Paneer Bhurji entree, and it came with two pieces of white bread toasted. What a great deal for $12.99 My husband ordered the Kharati Chicken with Roti $14.99 The employees were very kind and the food was very delicious, I would eat here again for sure! Cannot wait to try their other specials.

I ordered two sandwiches with extra cheese. I paid for the extra cheese. Forget the extra, there wasn't even the usual amount! and one of them was the Veg "Cheese" Grill

I thought this was a breakfast place. Was surprised to find out that it is an indian street food place. I ordered Chicken Tandoori but it was ok for me. I did like their other stuff which we dip Roti in. It was really good. I just dont know the name coz it wasnt my order lol. The good thing about the place is you can choose your spice level. I would definitely go back and try more food on the menu! Oh and the name says it all. Most menu items have egg in them. This is more of a self service, self clean, fast food concept type of place. Definitely worth a try! Happy Eating!

They have a location downtown but never been in there had a picnic meal from here once before.... Was in the area for work and wanted a quick bite ordered the sandwich upon the employees recommendation. I had to pee and big mistake went to ladies bathroom, I think baby changing station hasn't been sanitized in days I could smell the stench through my mask ...ugh!! Nevertheless got my sandwich and chai to go. The guy in the counter seemed very distracted.... Anyways the best thing was the chai (masala tea)Made me feel good on a cold chicago day instantly. Sandwich was ok. Will I come back? Maybe not .... Only for the ginger masala tea which hit the spot.

We had a great experience at this new Indian fast-casual eatery! They were able to accommodate my requests to leave off the cheese and mayo (no dairy, no egg) when ordering the Amdavadi Toucb sandwich, and it was still just as delicious. It had a kick to it and was very flavorful with a generous amount of spice, which complemented the soft bread well. The employees were very friendly and welcoming and took the time to make sure the sauces with dairy and egg were removed for me! My sister thoroughly enjoyed the Mango Lassi and agreed it was very flavorful and tasty as well. The interior ambiance is large and spread out -- not cramped or crowded. The portions were also decent and the sandwich included a side of chips, which normally you won't find included elsewhere!

Thankfully, Phat Phat stepped in to fill that gap. We drove 30 miles for a late lunch around 2:30 p.m. to hopefully beat the crowds. There's a huge parking lot in the back, the building itself is incredibly unique, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. It feels modern while still being warm and inviting. We wanted to try a variety of dishes, so we ordered two baskets of the Shanghai Soup Dumplings, the Enoki Mushroom appetizer, Chicken Fried Rice, Phat Phat Chicken, Nasi Campur, and finished the meal with the Mango Sago. Everything was incredible. The soup dumplings definitely filled the void that Din Tai Fung left behind. Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. The Mango Sago was the perfect palate cleanser and a refreshing way to end the meal on a hot summer day. The standout for me was the Enoki Mushroom appetizer. That will be a must-order every time we come back. We also have Indonesian family and have visited Bali, so we were excited to try the Nasi Campur. It was spot on. The satay is another must-order in my opinion. Our waiter was kind and attentive, and the rest of the staff were just as welcoming and pleasant. My recent visit to this restaurant was the first visit in over half a year. My last visit was quite a bit ago because I was upset at how poorly resolution was for a missed meal I ordered for one of my co-workers. This recent visit as of tonight will be my final visit. I try to see it through and remain a good patron of businesses I appreciate but good service must exist. Do I expect a business to get it correct all the time? No! But I do expect there to be some semblance of competency, grace and determination to find resolve where error was made. Tonight I placed an order for myself and my gf. I received an automated email response suggesting the order would take between 30-45 minutes, which is totally fine. I figured I'd allow some extra time before arriving. When I get to the restaurant, I'm told my order would be ready in another 15 minutes. While I was slightly upset, I didn't let it bother me. I just went back and sat in my vehicle for about 20 minutes. I came back into the restaurant and waited a few more minutes before being called to get my food. Upon stepping to the counter, the lady looked at the receipt for my food almost confused and said "sorry, there aren't anymore beef patties but I can swap that item with another side" I'm not certain if she was aware or not from the kitchen staff that this item wasn't present but it struck me as odd based on her reaction. More importantly, I'm more than upset now but I handle this situation as calm as can be, by pausing to think about how to respond. I choose a side to replace for lack of the beef patty but can't help but notice the price difference doesn't even align. Shortly after making a decision on item to swap, I ask how long ago did that item sell out today. She replies and says, "it's been sold out since around noon" and at that point I just try not to stare or show emotion. While she did apologize for this mishap, it just didn't go over well with me. The lack of communication prior, struggle to find proper resolution for this incident and the previous one. Do you not have a POS system which updates automatically against your live stock? Or being attentive to detail would have helped and a simple phone call would have sufficed had they known this. Btw, the previous incident was an order they forgot to give to a delivery driver, only to blame that driver. I had to drive to the restaurant to pickup my co-workers meal during a busy work day after they realized they messed up and actually left that meal on the side of one of their counters. This restaurant has pretty good food and options for food in general but that alone won't solve your problems running a business if you screw up and struggle severely with customer service. I've come here more than several times in the past but no longer will that happen.

The sauce is bright and tangy--obviously spicy, but so, so good. And there's really no place similar in this area. Paired with the rice and beans and cabbage helps tone down the spice. Goat Curry - So spicy but so flavorful! The meat is tender and it's addictive. Beef patty - This is different than others, and it seems deep fried where I'm used to baked. Always love a beef patty and our kids enjoyed it. Plantains - Our kids love plantains in whatever form. Plus, these aren't spicy so they eat them all. Mac and Cheese - I'm usually wary of getting mac and cheese for kids because it's bland and watery (my child's words not mine), but THIS mac and cheese was SO good! So much flavor and gooey cheese sauce. Both our kids loved it and said it was delicious. Easy win! Candied Yams - Of all the tasty things, this is probably my least favorite. Everything on the menu is packed with deep, rich flavor. But candied yams are just too sweet for me. I think people who like sweet things will love this, but my preference tends to lean less sweet and more savory. So if you're not huge on sweets either, maybe skip this and go for the other items. The staff here are so nice--we ordered with the high hopes of ox tail (one of the non-spicy items) but they were all sold out! My husband was so disappointed that she took pity on him and just gave him the sauce and bits and bones that were left because they couldn't sell it anyway. It was SO good. Almost better than the first time I remembered it. I could be entirely too full and still want a taste of these ox tails! Please never go out of business or change hands--this place is a gem.

I was hoping to get a gyro burger based on some of the past photos and reviews, but I guess the menu has been pared down. That's when the red flags started showing themselves - They were out of chili. Sorry kiddo, regular hot dogs then - No gyro cone on the spit - Empty drink fridge apart from some juices, bottled water, and Pepsi - When I asked for a cup of water, the lone employee just pointed to the bottled waters - There was one plastic fork left - like, it's dead inside, you couldn't bother to refill it? Despite missing the gyro burger and the gyro cone, I ordered the gyro sandwich anyway, and we also got a chicken shawarma wrap, a hot dog with everything, and a hot dog with just ketchup. I don't know what "everything" means to Palooza, but it doesn't add up to a Chicago dog. No sport pepper? No celery salt? One sad tomato slice? It was an insult to the institution. Feels like they skimp on the fries too. The gyro also felt small compared to what you would get at any other place selling them. The chicken shawarma wrap just didn't taste fresh and was drowning in some kind of sauce. As we left, I asked my wife the question I always ask her when we try a new place. And no, we won't be back. It's barely passable, but you'll find better versions of their food all over the burbs.

Palooza is a nice clean fast food restaurant. I had the gyro…read moresandwich, which was excellent. The sandwich had a good balance of meat and toppings so it was not only tasty, but also easy to eat. The owner was warm and friendly.
