The restaurant is very nice and clean, we waited less then five minutes to get seated. The only reason we wanted to eat here is we saw the $15 special. When we sat down and ordered they said they needed to check to see if all the items were available to make the special. When our waiter came back he said we could not order it because they did not have the items to make it so that was very disappointing so that is why we took a star off our review. In all honesty we probably should have left and went somewhere else. ------------------ We started our meal with the samosa appetizer. It was very tasty and was not too temperature hot so that was nice. I ordered the Apollo Fish, the more you ate it the hotter the spice seemed to get. It really builds up but was great! If your like me and love spicy food you will love the Apollo Fish! My husband ordered the Butter Chicken and loved the flavor of the sauce. We both shared the plain rice and one order of regular naan. It was very good!! If we are in the area again we would consider eating here... if the special of the day is available. We ended up spending double of what we were hoping but it was good to try one time.

This place is one time go to try if you like Indian food . The place is not so big and it's clean seating too. But their service is not too efficient. They are little bit pricey for the place and food. We ordered their specials like Haleem, Biryani butter chicken luqmi and chicken pakora and mixed grill. Haleem was very good it's something like spicy grits with mutton. Biryani was very good and flavorful but again the portions are too small for the price and just enough for one. Butter chicken was ok in taste but chicken was not enough in it again the portion I would say and they could've used little less food color though. Mixed grill was not good and too small a portion. They should work on both their rates and portion sizes. They started were just waste of money. Only Haleem and Biryani was nice And their desserts are a fail too. Need to pay attention on the restroom.

Lunch special and chicken 65 rice. Yum!

This place is great. Don't know how I never heard of it or came across it on Yelp. Great lunch specials and I also had the chicken 65 rice. It was all so good I took home a few more lunch specials for the family. Very polite and quick service.

Tried their goat biriyani. It was pretty good along with their beef chapli kebab. Felt their portion was less for the prize.

Every dish--except the salad--was spot on: authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The chicken inferno was especially memorable, and the portions were generous. My only suggestion would be for the kachumbar salad to have more vibrant colors and fresher flavors--perhaps beets and carrots instead of the very chewy purple cabbage. I didn't try any of the cocktails, but I did have a glass of cava brut, which was served in a white wine glass and was a very generous pour. This place is truly a gem, and I hope they continue to keep the same recipes and portions because they've got something special here. We will definitely be back!

They have lunch specials, a happy hour, and tea (!) from 2-5, veg or non-veg options, which I'm definitely checking out. If you're vegetarian, items that can be made vegan are clearly marked, and there are more vegan items on the website than I saw on the menu, so I would ask. Most of the French touches appear to be on dishes with meat, though there are flatbreads and a spinach dip, and of course dessert; there is a lot more paneer on the menu than I'm used to, which might be a gesture towards the French love of cheese. Vegans would do best ordering the soya chaap or from the Accompaniments section, which includes classic Indian items (aloo gobi, dal). Overall there are about 8 vegetarian entrees / accompaniments, plus appetizer options. Restaurant serves wine, beer and cocktails in addition to the usual mango lassi, chai and soft drinks. We got a ginger mojito; mango lassi; the corn fritters; the fig/pistachio/paneer flatbread; garlic naan; rice; the soya chaap and a cardamom creme brulee. In general, food had a blend of spices but was mild, which makes sense given the French influence. The corn fritters were nicely spiced with good texture and a tasty sauce. The garlic naan is quite impressive with lots of herbs and garlic. Unless you love soy cutlets, I don't recommend the soya chaap (soy/wheat cutlets in coconut curry sauce); it's fine for what it is - the gravy was delicious and rich - but it's not for me. The flatbread was interesting; the pistachios didn't overwhelm at all but I would have liked more fig to stand up to the paneer. The spouse was impressed with the mojito; the lassi was OK but wasn't as fruity as I like. The cardamom creme brulee is served in a wide ramekin, maximizing the surface area of the sugar crust and making it easily sharable. Instead of permeating the cream, the cardamom seeds provided little bursts of flavor, which was nice but not what I expected. Service was a bit slow but solicitous - we were there on a quiet Sunday night. Copious parking; easy hours; I'll definitely check out the lunch specials and tea when I'm in the mood for local Indian food, heavy on the paneer.

IndoPak meaty cuisine lovers, don't sleep on BBQLand…read more Nestled off of Lake St, in the plaza with Caputo's, this new restaurant is teeming with potential. Inside is bright, spacious, and very clean. The owners are so nice. They genuinely wanted to know what we thought of each dish. They are happy to explain menu items and make recommendations if you ask. Taking a quick glance at their menu, I can see they have some good lunch specials. Burgers & wraps look like a decent deal, 2.99 more for a meal is not bad considering the food is not chain fast food. They have a nice spread of clay oven beef, lamb, prawns, salmon, and chicken. Nice appetizers, a few veg options, biryani, and entrees (I hate saying the word curries, wack). We went with some grilled platters. Everything on the platter was cooked to perfection, each item distinctly seasoned. Tandoori chicken was soft, which means marinated very well. The korma tasted like home..that is the biggest compliment you can get, and will likely be my go-to when hangriness short circuits my decision making capability. Nihari was perfect. Their butter chicken was good, not the sweet kind thankfully. The biryani was also great. Perfect, aromatic rice, meat was off the bone and well seasoned. Tandoori roti and tandoori naan were soft, not burnt, with that lovely clay oven aroma. The off menu special was dal gosht (meat and lentil), which I really liked. It was pleasantly mild and obviously slow cooked for a while, giving a nice comfort food vibe. Since the Tip section is no longer available on Yelp, a few FYI's. For entrees, it may take some time to prepare because everything is made to order, so break out candy crush or prepare some talking points to share with Ralph..if you decide to dine with Ralph. Their mango lassi is good, but because they use real mango vs pulp, it could be a little tart, based on the mango and the yogurt used. Always pre order charga (we did) because that is a specialty that takes time to prepare and marinate, whole deep fried chicken. BbqLand is a winner in my book. Give it a try. Who the h is Ralph.
