Amazing coffee close to the beach with a very cozy and tight knit neighborhood feel! Their ceramic mugs are super cute and the baristas are very friendly. Drinks are the perfect amount of sweetness and I'd highly recommend any of their seasonal lattes or their matcha!

Espresso, soft yoke egg and gf/df really yummy bread toasted with olive oil and chunks of sea salt.

Super friendly service, excellent coffee, relaxing atmosphere and good food! I had an espresso, gf/df toast with olive oil and salt, and egg. Simple food but the toast was so good! Kinda like shepherds bread with crunchy thick crust and doughy chewy middle. The big pieces of what looked like sea salt was just right with a drizzle of olive oil on top. The soft yoke egg went perfectly with every bite of the toast! Will come again!

We are here working all the time they have really great Wi-Fi coffee and vibes. Their shakerato is my favorite drink. It's not too sweet and the caffeine level is just right. I've also tried their strawberry Matcha- incredible. A tip - If you want something less carb heavy ask for their burrito as a burrito bowl which comes without the tortilla and if you like spice get the spicy aïoli - that sauce is to die for! they have a cute little patio area as well and the space while it seems small fits a lot of people the only major con about this place is that the parking lot fits may be only eight or 10 cars total so be prepared to walk and park and find street parking if you come at very busy times

Stopped by while I was in the area for the DMV. Neat was a quick 3 minute walk down the alleyway and is tucked into a small parking lot. Once inside, the space was fairly open and there was a fair amount of seating, but most tables we're full when I arrived Everybody behind the counter was super friendly and I got my order really quickly. My cold almond milk latte was good and rich. It had a bit of an acidic finish probably from the beans that were used.

My sister and I went on another cafe spree as we both sought to finish up on our studies. The chosen cafe of interest has been Neat Coffee. We ordered the following *Decaf latte with oatmilk $7 *Americano (iced) $4 *Banana Bread - Rye Goods Dark Choclate Chip Banana (contains coconut) $6 *Bliss Ball GF Cookie Dough $3.75 You'll walk in feeling cozy. Our server's name was Grace, and she was so kind. All the people working here are kind. There is a good amount of seating inside to study. It may be a bit harder to find outlets, but just be ready to rotate around tables if need be. I appreciated the aesthetics that were all so seamlessly put together to present a Neat Cafe experience. They provide Wifi and a 10% discount if you arrive on foot, bike or board! God bless you all.

Absolutely love this coffee shop!! The staff are so friendly, kind & want to have a real conversation with you! My go to coffee is the Shakerato! I would go back for it everyday if my wallet allowed it haha Quality of the coffee is top tier - perfect balance of bold flavor & sweetness. There is plenty of inside seating and some outside seating. It's a good spot to work but there are limited outlets.

Very clean aesthetic, I love the vibes inside. The three word/s for this vibe would be spring/fall, soft mood, and delicate. We ordered the Vanilla Matcha Latte Iced and the Shakerato plus a Blueberry Vegan Donut. The Cashier recommend the Shakerato as one of the popular drinks ordered. Come and try them out ^^ Everything tasted great and can't wait to come back for more!

Came here for the peanut butter latte. I think that it was a little light on the flavor where you can barely taste it. I think that the hot version was creamy tho. Staff is friendly. Parking can be tough here.

decided to try out a new coffee shop in my neighborhood, i went ahead and got my normal routine coffee shop order and it was genuinely so awful. the almondmilk was very watered down not at all what i was expecting, and it made the whole latte taste horrible. barista was great but unfortunately the $8 that was spent was not worth it in my opinion.

(Does anyone work anymore!? ) The longest I waited was an hour but that was 3 weeks after opening. And I can tell you, as long as you have the time it will be worth it. The overall aesthetic is coastal cowboy meets rustic modern. There is a ton of seating with a great outdoor patio. Parking in the back is pretty slim, so your best bet is street parking. You can either get lucky or park around the block, depending on the day / time. My absolute favorite coffee is the Hawaiian Cowboy. It flavor profile is a nutty tasting honey that's refreshing yet not overly sweet. You can actually taste the espresso without it being too powerful. This coffee is worth the wait. Their other drinks are also good, but this one takes the cake. They have a pretty expansive food menu as well, so it's much more than "just a coffee shop". And you can't forget about their baked goods. O M G. It's from a local bakery (sift bakery) who makes the best non basic treats around. Salty horse found its place at the top of my list in a very saturated coffee market.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

The parking however, was VERY filled during this time. The line was huge for a 11:00am on a Friday morning. I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry! The outside seating areas in this outdoor area was very cute. Lots of fun art, the directory was creative, the CD tunnel was the coolest part! We also walked over to the breakfast burrito place as well. This seems like a nice area to come and relax and just people watch and enjoy a delicious iced latte from Nook.

It was 10 min before closing & idk if the girls were just rushing to close down but one girl in particular had an attitude.
