If you're a Thai lover like me and live in Fort Wayne, you are lucky to have Nawa nearby. Every plate that came out looked amazing and portions are a good size. I got the green curry and it was one of the best Thai green curries I've ever had. I also tried the spring roles and fried rice and both were awesome. This was probably my third visit. Drink prices are excellent Food prices are $15 for stars are dishes; $25-35 for chef dishes. I had the pad Thai Pelouze a chef dish for $35. It had some seafood and a ton of pasta. Very disappointed in the meat to pasta ratio. My wife had the $15 sweet and sour dish her normal favorite at an Asian restaurant. This version was a red sauce with tomatoes. Tomatoes were a turn off. Sauce was ok. Definitely not better than the standard Asian restaurant sweet and sour. I have a tendency to judge Thai restaurants on how well they make Pad Thai, so it's no surprise that on my first visit to Nawa, that's exactly what I ordered. Nawa's Pad Thai with tofu was perfect. It's a pretty generous portion. Plus, it pairs nicely with the Thai Iced Tea. I also shared the fresh roll with a friend. Our server was very attentive making sure we had plenty of water and checking-in on us regularly. We sat at a small high top table in the front window. It was raining quite a bit that evening, so there wasn't a lot of people watching, but it was nice to listen to and watch the rain. Nawa is a good place for a dinner date as it's dimly lit and beautifully decorated. It's also a nice place for a dinner meeting with a client as there are plenty of options on the menu. Nawa was a lot different as I went to eat it is an experience while me and my friend waited for an hour for reservations. There were different entrees and appetizers to try as I had spring rolls and duck wraps like pita bread. I had teriyaki chicken wings 6 of them and the fried rice last Friday night. Food is definitely solid. The curry dishes are great because you can specify how hot you want it. Appetizer wise I would recommend the beef jerky. So good! I had the Seabass, and I would have to admit it was underwhelming. The fish was great, but the sauce and bok choy was a touch 'soggy'. Coconut cheesecake was great. read more

I've really struggled with finding fun, delicious restaurants in Fort Wayne, but alas, I've finally found a great one! Nawa has absolutely phenomenal Asian/Thai fusion food in a modern atmosphere. It's located in an area of Fort Wayne that is currently in the middle of a revitalization, so I think there's some more great stuff on the way. Nawa boasts a comprehensive beer, wine, and drink menu, as well as numerous appetizers and options for gluten free patrons. I had the massaman curry with chicken, which was served with fresh avocado and cashews. The sauce was so flavorful that I could have eaten it alone as a soup! The pad see ewe was good but unmemorable; couldn't really taste the sauce, and the peanut based curry I ordered was okay but boring.. it was supposed to come with carrots and broccoli (which would've added some sort of dimension to the dish), but the kitchen left them out, so what I received was literally just chicken and sauce....when i asked for the broccoli and carrots since they were supposed to be on it, they CHARGED ME EXTRA for them because they said they're offered "as a garnish"? This is a really fun spot on the landing in Fort Wayne. Lots of different wok dishes, chef specialties, and good appetizers. We love to sit at the bar and watch the bartenders put in the work mixing up the specialty cocktails. Bonus points for the tiki glasses. Really solid food and great service every time we've been. Food was good, but service was very poor. It took 45 minutes from order placed, two requests to our server about our time constraints, and one discussion with the manager, to get our meals. They either need to limit reservations/seating based on staffing or have staff to serve their reservations/seatings. I would normally say it is not the server's fault if the kitchen cannot get the food out. However, our server basically ignored us after our first request. We have been to this restaurant multiple times in the past, with nothing but good experiences. This time it was very bad. I hope that does not happen again. read more

Food is absolutely amazing! My wife and I's go to place! Sometimes seating can be iffy depending on how busy it is and their parking lot is very small so it gets filled up fast. We love Nawa we have been there many times now and have never had a bad experience. The food is good. All of it is good. We have tried many different dishes and loved them all. This place was absolutely delicious. I think once The Landing is all finished with construction, Nawa will be the most popular restaurant on the strip. I made a reservation ahead of time because I figured it would be busy on a Friday night, and I was right! We started with some appetizers, the pork belly buns and the fried calamari and basil. Both were phenomenal. I think I prefer the calamari and basil over the buns because hellllllo, they're fried. SO good though. For the entree, I ordered the pad thai. Very very good. It came out steaming hot on a very nicely plated plate with the side garnishes (peanuts, sprouts, etc) It was a pretty large portion too. The inside and decor was more upscale asian dining but I wouldn't say you have to necessarily dress up to dine here. It was pretty loud with all the people and very dark. The beef has good flavor but it's chewy, for $14, I figured they would use a different cut of beef or do a traditional Thai marinade and cooking style as I have had fantastic Thai beef before.
