This was a pleasant find after a visit to the St Augustine Lighthouse. They're located in the parking lot of a surf shop and there are a few seats around. The people were friendly and accommodating, even to newbies. We got the Baja Fish Tacos and one of the specials, which was Steak Spinach Wrap. Both were incredibly tasty! We also got rice with the tacos and tried both their red and green salsas with chips. The rice was not what we expected, in a good way. As for the salsas, I preferred the green one a little more, but my dining partner liked the red one on the spinach wrap. My favorite lunch in St. Augustine. It's always a tough choice between the Ahi Burger, Baja Fish Tacos, and the Bay Bomb burrito. The guys that run this place are cool and down to earth - three stars for that alone. Fiance and I tried the Baja fish tacos and yummm...fresh Mahi with perfect amount in each taco. Great fish tacos! It was definitely worth the short bike ride from our Anastasia State Park campsite to this cute little restaurant outside the park gate. I've lived in St. Augustine for almost 20 years now but hadn't discovered Nalu's till about 4 years ago and boy am I glad I tried it. A friend of mine told me that I needed to and try out the fish tacos there. All I could think of was ewww fish tacos, but I was SO wrong. They are delicious. Now I probably eat them at least once a week. Really anything on their menu is awesome, I've never had anything bad there. Whats really cool is that they recently opened up a second location it is at 926 Santa Maria Blvd. It opened up across from the shores Publix. So it never has to close up because of weather. Also if you are in a rush you can call either location a head of time and place your order so when you arrive your order is ready. Nalu's is perfect is you're going to or coming from the beach as its right between downtown and the beach. Get anything and it's delicious, I usually go for the lower tressels tacos or any burrito. They've got cute little picnic tables outside the foodtruck to sit at while you wait for your food or to eat but I usually like to bring my food to the beach. I recommend you bring cash so you can tip the guys that work there cause they're really nice! read more

I have been stopping at the Nalu's Hawaiian food stand since it opened in, what year was that, 2003. Love the Ahi burger which is suchi grade tuna seared to medium well on a bun with shredded cabbage and pacific type hot sauce sided by rice and beans. Recently I stopped by their store front operation across from Publix on the south side of Saint Augustine. Still my favorite sandwich. The tuna portion may have shrunk but wadu I know. read more

We stopped there few times and had burritos, tacos and poke. The place is good and a reasonably fair value but no where near deserving of the hype. Poke was fresh and rather small serving in a styrofoam cup. Burrito wasn't really fish loaded but beans loaded, and tacos heavy on cabbage side. No bad, just not really stunningly great either. I was excited to try this, it just looks like a great local spot.... It wasn't. The food was less than mediocre and we had 3 different things. They didn't understand "please separate the rice and beans so they don't touch each other" (picky toddler), charged me for a whole extra serving and then gave me rice and beans mixed in all the other meals. Rice and beans were all good. And I am a fan of Red and Green salsa. My wife had the Mermaid Wrap- spinach wrap with cilantro pesto rice, sliced cucumbers, and her favorite, seared ahi tuna rare with Cajun seasoning to make this meal delicious. She absolutely loved adding the avocado and pineapple mango salsa to her wrap. We will definitely return. We love our tacos, whether Mexican or Hawaiian. This food truck hit the spot just right after a nice trail hike by the beach. Highly recommend going here for a casual lunch. Really overrated. Fish tacos with a lot of Cajun spices and cabbage. Rice was old and tasteless. For $4 a taco you should expect more.

We were happy to find this food truck. All 6 of us who ate there enjoyed the different dishes we got. They even have several vegetarian options for those who don't eat meat. This place is great! I'm not usually a fish taco person but from the reviews I couldn't pass it up. I was in St. Augustine from out of state and I hate going to all the big chains. I had the Pier Right and it was amazing! I'm a big jerky fan but I had never had fish jerky (skeptical!) but I'm so glad I did it really surpassed any expectation I had for it. Fresh tacos, nice spot has been there a long time which attests to it's success. Not an easy spot to get to when there's lots of traffic. Needs more outdoor seating, and wipe off the tables sometime...but there is only usually one person working. Tuna rocked. read more

Local business with best baja style food in town. Excellent selection of fish. Unlike the other burrito spots in St. Augustine, this has more to offer than Tilapia with cheese. Everything is made to order, ingredients are fresh and to date everything has been delicious. Specials are always surprising and excellent, example mangoes and shrimp. Beans are cooked well and full of flavor. Island location is a food cart. All employees are pleasant. read more
