I ordered eight pieces for our table and they were crispy and delicious! A generous size of meat filled egg rolls served piping hot and perfect to start you off...so, so good! Next, I ordered the Filipino Pork BBQ Skewers a la carte and they were nicely marinated and grilled to perfection! Huge chunks of pork with a wonderful meat-to-fat ratio so you do not want to miss ordering this meat on a stick. Lastly, I tried the Filipino Pork Adobo with Steamed Rice and it was fantastic! I'm pretty picky with my Filipino food as I come from a family of amazing Filipino cooks. This Pork Adobo did not disappoint as it was balanced with sweet and savory and they give you plenty of extra sauce to soak up with the rice. Different from what I'm used to, but delicious nonetheless. For my dessert, I opted for smoothies from the Big Island Bowls Food Truck. I shared the Classic Acai Smoothie made with organic acai, bananas, and strawberries blended with organic almond milk & the Coconut Dream Smoothie made with organic acai, bananas, and organic shredded coconut blended with organic almond milk. Refreshing and not too sweet! Perfect ending after a rich and savory meal. I want to try the acai bowls next time... Overall, the food truck vendors at this location are hard working and local. I love the variety and the convenience of having this food truck park so close to the beach. There are restrooms for customers and plenty of covered seating for those really sunny Florida days. Amazing experience and fantastic food options. I definitely recommend supporting local and trying out the food trucks that are set up in The Village Garden. Excellent! :)

Whether you're a carnitas connoisseur or dancing with spicy chorizo, these tacos deliver with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. But wait--just when I thought things couldn't get better, I requested a shrimp-stuffed burrito that came bursting with goodies. Think warm, grilled shrimp snuggled with savory bites that whispered "beachside bliss" in every mouthful. This isn't just a food stop--it's a vibe. I'm supposed to be watching my rice intake but I figured I eat half of it now and the rest the following day. And it's jasmine rice too which is one of my favorite grains. The guys in the truck were very fast and efficient in preparing my food and cashing me out. I went with the Datil Sauce Poke Bowl because I don't ever remember having datil pepper sauce on anything. One of the guys explained it of having a sweet taste at first before the spice kicks in. Sounds like fun. I got back to the office and dived in. Each ingredient complimented each other so well and the tuna tasted fresh from the sea. I really enjoyed the bowl and will be back for more.

At home, fruit, veggies and organic items are typical my go to. Sugary stuff, store bought junk food, etc have no place in my home so what better than having the same type of meal a few minutes from my office?! 1. Customer service was awesome. I engaged in interesting convo with the gentleman (friend of the owner) during my visit (their first visit at JFTFC). From the food court to healthy eating options, I felt like I reconnected w/an old friend (***all my fave trucks have awesome customer service). 2. I chose the children's size Shaka bowl, which was a nice portion for lunch. All ingredients were fresh, cold and naturally delicious. The acai mix had a nice frozen yogurty, smoothie texture and just the right amount of almond milk, so it didn't overpower the other flavors. Not sure if their granola is homemade (prob not), but the portion was spot on, if you need a little weight to the meal.

Burritos- are large and very good, again we will be getting more tomorrow or Wednesday for sure. I took pictures of the riblets but not the burritos, but will when I return. The rice platter was great - Spanish rice, jerk chicken, chips, fresh guacamole, avocados and fried plaintains. Quite filling. Overall, I loved the food and their simple menu. When I saw this food truck parked out near the front of my neighborhood I got "eggcited" because I…read morelove eggs. And before I get too far into this I want to say the food was good. The flavors were nice and everything was prepared well. However, and this may be just my opinion but, if you're going to call your food truck "The Fried Egg" perhaps eggs should be a part of the make up of most of you menu items. Given the current menu options I think a better name for this truck would be "The Fried Egg is a $1 add-on option." I mentioned to the young lady taking my order that it surprised me that, given the name of the truck, I would have to pay an up charge for an egg. She relayed my sentiments to the cook, who may have been the manager or owner. Nevertheless, I ordered the Classic Smash Burger and did ask for the fried egg add-on. The food was prepared really quickly and the burger looked perfect. However, the young lady informed me that unfortunately they only had 4 eggs left and that they all fell and broke on the floor before my burger was ready. So she handed me a $1 bill as a refund. Obviously disappointed (and skeptical of the story) I accepted the refund and went on my way. The short of it is that while I was eggstremly disappointed by the lack of eggs, the burger was quite good and the fries were wonderful. I would have given this experience 4 stars, I can overlook the name thing, but not being able to have any eggs from The Fried Egg food truck left me somewhat disappointed.
