One of the few boba places in at auggie, and I'd like to say the one with the most reasonable prices. The drinks we ordered already had boba included. The boba itself had a slight sweetness to them. The jasmine milk tea was fragrant and not powdery. The rose milk tea was a bit strong, and the oolong was a little distracting. I was initially overwhelmed by the flavor but it grew on me the more I drank it. The decor is sweet and the chairs are very comfy. Staff was sweet, parking not an issue. A new location for Tsaocaa conveniently located on highway 1! I usually go to the Mandarin location but I was at my rental house in St. Augustine and needed something from Lowes. This boba place was right across! The drinks are the same as the Jacksonville locations. I really like the fruit teas and also the blended mango slush. My son's favorite is the pink velvet waffles. There is a lot of places for sitting down here and the parking lot is quite large as well. Service is quick and helpful. read more

Worst customer service! This is the only boba place we go to since moving to St. Augustine a couple months ago and last night was the first rude encounter we experience from their workers! Angie and Chance did not value customer service. We walked in and said "hello" and Chance, behind the counter, did not say a word, just simply stared at us. As we approached the register to order, he still did not say a word. Just looked at us with a straight face. No smile, no acknowledgment. As if we were bothering them. Mind you the place doesn't close until 9 PM and we got there at 8 PM. We start our order and we weren't even finished ordering and he goes and tells me the total. I ignored and just gave him another order and said "that will be all, thank you!" No simple "you're welcome," thank you," "is there anything else," or "your order will be right up" response back from either of them. We waited for our drinks, and as we got our order, the drinks did not look right. We order the same thing every time we come here and the drinks literally did not look the same neither did it taste the same after taking a sip. They put a different lid than the normal sticker top so my daughter who is 4 years old, had trouble with the lid and ended up spilling! I understand that there is a hole for the straw, but I was having a hard time poking the straw through. So I asked Angie if she could change it for my daughter and without saying anything she just grabs the drink and changes the cover. As she walks back, I asked her if she could do the same thing for the other drinks and she said "there's a hole for the straw" and I told her I understand that but I was having a hard time so if she could just change the top for the other two drinks as well. She grabbed the drinks,looking at Chance and they both began mumbling to each other "there's a hole on the top" Angie responded to him "I told her that." She came back with our drinks, with a straight face and AGAIN no "thank you" or "have a nice day" was said. As a face of someone's company and business, you should provide decent customer service to prevent situations like this from happening. I understand there are things going on in everyone's lives, but you do not have the right to treat customers that way. What was a nice night for us took a turn because of their bad attitude. We didn't end up drinking the boba after the first sip, as it wasn't made right at all! It had dried up boba on the bottom and two of them was just milk. We will not be going back and will be searching for a new Boba place!!! read more

I visit this location every time I'm in the area and have a few minutes to stop in. The boba tea is fantastic whether you choose fruit tea or milk tea. The chicken wings are unbelievable! The establishment itself is very clean and nicely decorated and the staff is always very friendly and courteous. I've been to this shop a handful of times and they are mostly great. Typically, the flavor is perfect and extremely balanced! Staff are usually super sweet and friendly. I'm not sure what happened today, though. Both drinks we ordered had a strange aftertaste, almost as if they used artificial sweetener? It's hard to describe but it was kind of what I imagine cardboard to taste like. Occasionally they have been out of the traditional tapioca boba option when we go (which is a huge bummer because thats the only kind I like) Would love to see more consistency from them, instead of worrying if the drink I'm about to order will be like the last one I had or something wild. Tea was good, but employees will talk rudely about customers in front of them in mandarin. I was charged for a previous customer's transaction I did not order (I mentioned it may have been a machine issue), and the worker argued with me and wanted me to keep the drink I never even wanted. Then she proceeded to talk badly about me to another employee in mandarin (I speak mandarin) and accused me of lying, so I spoke up and was in disbelief. But tonight a few friends and I ordered the boneless wings and popcorn chicken....all of it was inedible, the popcorn chicken was so rubbery and chewy I thought they accidentally served us the octopus. It also looked very raw...the fried chicken was in massive pieces and we got three different sauces to try but all three were basically flavor less and watery, was just soy sauce I think. Ordered a side of fries because why not, but they did not seem to be fried, possibly made in a microwave? Very soggy no flavor. Will definitely be back for boba/tea NEVER again for the food. read more
