When you walk on it, you hear your shoes make a squishy sound because your shoes are struggling to move off the floor. Chairs need to be scrubbed as well. Table tops are clean. We are trying the donuts under the new ownership we shall see. Here are some new things I saw today. The taro drinks taste the same. Super thankful that they gave me a free drink because it was Mother's Day week.! I did not know that you had to pay extra for Boba and that you had to ask for it a lot of places it just comes standard with your drink so that's enough charge of $1.25

Friendly employees/owner. It's a pretty quiet location. The Thai tea boba i gave a 9.5. We tried…read morethe lychee slush with mango jelly and the honeydew slush. Only thing I didn't expect was the cold foam along the inside of the cup but you couldn't taste the difference. Just a heads up to tell them none of that if you just want a slush. Also tried the mochi donuts (matcha and Dubai chocolate) very yummy and fresh! I will say it's a little more pricey than most places because boba is $1 but it's a taller cup. She also put light ice so I got a lot of Thai tea compared to some places that put a ton of nice.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! I love this venue!!! I literally plan what neighborhood to…read morelive in based on where the nearest Asian market is. It has been a great method everywhere that I have lived. This venue is a blessing!! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I called ahead of my visit this time, because I was on a mission to find Thai chili peppers. Score!!! I was getting desperate after going to a local "natural market", then Winn Dixie, and was I was almost going to go to a Thai restaurant to ask if I could buy some peppers off them. I called to PJ's and asked the owner and I lit up like a kid at Christmas time when she said "yes, I have them"! I immediately said that I was on my way! There's lots of parking spaces and it's easy to get in to the plaza from the road. Not only was it easy to find my prize, but it was so fun to look at all the delicious ingredients, treats, dishes, teas, and medicines. The refrigerators and freezers are full of Asian delectables and I was sooooo hungry and wanted everything! I had to limit myself for now because I was waiting for my next paycheck, but I still bought more than I should have!!!! Why ? Because I don't get to see these products at other local stores. I know that I always get my necessities/ essentials/ pantry must haves... but it is so hard not to get candies, teas, snacks, dishes, and cravings!!! I should not shop when I'm hungry... or did all these awesome products just make me hungry!!! I was feeling greedy for sure!!! I love this venue and I love the awesome lady sitting at the counter as she helped me pick out which package of pickled mangoes were better. And of course, I bought the one was her favorite!!! I love soaking up her wisdom!!!

The miso soup was hot and delicious. I then got the lunch bento box. 2 shumai, a California roll with REAL crab meat! Broccoli w shrimp. The box also had white rice. The sauce on the broccoli shrimp was AMAZING. Beautiful Chinese 5 spice flavor and they also removed the shrimp tails, which many restaurants don't do. I appreciated that.

Place has the hibachi tables up front and tables/booths in the back. Overall decent decor. First surprise was that it's really a Japanese/Chinese/Thai restuarant. They've got a pretty solid Chinese menu with all the standards on it. And then a bunch of Thai curries. For Japanese it has your bento, hibachi, tempora, teriyaki, udon, etc. So you've basically got all your bases covered! I started with hot and sour soup and it was dang good! Chock full of ingredients and decent spice. For lunch, I went with shrimp in lobster sauce with fried rice. It was exactly what I wanted. Very happy. Wife got a fried tofu appetizer which was HUGE and then some nice salmon. All very good. Daughter got green curry and it was fine but nothing great. Overall, very very impressed especially for the price. Not gourmet or upscale but I thought it was perfect for takeout/sit down type of place.
