GREAT ambiance. I had my nails done and also received a hand.arm, neck, and shoulder massage to go with it. I highly recommend Nail Bar, and will go back again. read more

The worst nail experience. Made an appointment with my mom for 4:30 they told us it would be a 20 min wait because of walk ins. There was also 2 girls waiting for their 430 appointment next to us. Finally at 6 they take us, the nail techs were extremely rude and didn't make you feel comfortable. They don't listen to what you have to say and we're talking about clients the whole time. My nails came out decent but my moms seem like the lady didn't even try and she knew they looked bad but didn't care. Also they think you don't notice when they use dirty implements but we do. Don't bother with this place. read more

Very disappointed in this place. Wanted to try a new place, when I walked in the smell of nail chemicals hit me hard, I actually started coughing. It was very chaotic and noisy, not very relaxing to me. I did like the menu and how I could choose what I wanted. They were quick to give me a drink of my choice, however my daughter (who was getting a manicure ) wasn't offered anything and they seemed to ignore her, as if a young preteen wasn't worth their effort. I sat getting my pedicure as she waited and waited patiently. She was finally offered a drink but not a glass of ice or a straw as I was.. The pedicure I chose was nice and my daughters nails look nice but I am not at all impressed and we will not be returning. read more

This place is new, it's cool, it's got a lot of fancy lights, AND they serve BOOZE! I came here with a few friends for a pedicure after happy hour drinks across the street at Johnny Garlics. I had made an appointment and realized we'd be late so I called and the lady answered "you like?" me: "ummm, is this the nail bar??" The lady just giggled and laughed and I said that we'd be about 15 minutes late, she laughed and said ok and quickly hung up. We arrived and were greeted quickly and asked to sign in. We picked our colors and went to our chairs. The ambience is fresh and clean, very nice feeling. The prices for the different types of pedicures were pretty on point with other places and they do give you a complimentary glass of wine, tea, soda etc. with every type of pedicure. The person doing my pedicure wasn't great, I opted for the "on the rocks" which was middle of the three types and about $6 more than the "regular" pedicure. Honestly, I couldn't tell you what was different about my pedicure vs. my two other friends who had gotten the regular straight up pedicure. In fact, mine included a little more, my pedicure started last and I was done before everyone else? And everything I got my friends had too? The wine is a nice touch to help you relax during the pedicure but there was nothing stellar about my toes, just looked like any other pedicure I've gotten before. I do like this place just for the fact that the prices are on point and I can drink. read more

What fun to enjoy a glass of champagne while we get a pedicure! The massage could have been longer, but overall this was a good experience.

My go too place! I Come all the way from Santa Rosa to get my nails done here. Great environment, great nails. I will never go anywhere else! read more

i am disgusted with the unprofessionalism as well as lack of customer service presented at nail bar of windsor. i went their today to receive a gel manicure. after only 5-8 minutes the women was done with my manicure. a sloppy job i had paint all over my cuticles and didn't receive lotion or the massage and hot towel nail bar is famous for. i asked the manager to fix my nails. upon that a customer began yelling at me asking tell me i was "ignorant" and "stupid" for wanting the nail i am paying generous money for to look decent. after the argument with the customer i decided i wasn't spending a penny at this place. but would pay for the pedicure my sister was receiving. the women refused to give me my card back because i wasn't paying for the incomplete gel manicure the police had to be called in order to get MY debit card back. ridiculous. this is how my nails were left. spend your money else where. read more

I have come to this nail salon for almost two years! this time I had the worst experience because this teenage girl they have working. I think her name is jami. She absolutely lacks customer service skills. She talks to people in a condescending way! She is rude to the people that she works with as well. I called back because they over charge my account when I asked them how much it was and they said $55 at the time I paid and I left a $5 tip and when I checked my account I was charge $92. The girl explained why they had to charge me more but she said it was their fault because she miss understood her manager about how much they had to charge me. Maybe if she would have paid attention instead of bullshitting around this wouldn't happen. She didn't even say sorry about the mix up. She even had the nerve to say "I didn't think it was a BIG DEAl to charge u more since u actually had the services done" Instead of saying "Hey I'm sorry we had to over charge because we actually forgot to charge u for the pedicure! Really sorry for the Inconvenience that might have cost you! " that sounds better than the way she said it. Again lack of customer service! I'm soo disappointed at nail bar. I really wish I could had spoken to the manager. I won't be going back there again. They just lost a customer for life. My mom and my friend won't be going there again either. read more

The best in Sonoma County!! I found Nail Bar in Windsor (it's just been open since January 2015) on Yelp after having tried a few others. This is a fabulous salon! First of all, it's beautiful inside and has a modern and spa-like decor. They use high-end products, offer free beverages from tea to wine, and go out of their way to create a positive experience for the customer. The chairs are state-of-the art massage chairs and they provide a "menu" of mani/pedis to accommodate your budget and time. You won't be disappointed and will find the owner Kimmie will do whatever it takes to ensure you return. I highly recommend Nail Bar!! read more

I went in today and Kimmie (the owner) was doing my nails, she was very rushed and so careless with my nails, she only cares about getting to the next customer which is not okay specially since they're so expensive. When she was done I didn't like the color and asked to changed it and she said she'd charge me an additional $15 even though I didn't like my nail color and they were all filed crooked. read more

I must say this place is amazing I've been there twice had my nails done by the same person and she did an amazing job each time. The place is very nice inside they treat their clients like friends just the overall vibe you get is amazing. I highly recommend this place to anybody wanting to find a new nail place or just try a different one. This place is one of the best you'll never want to go anywhere else again. read more

BEST MANI AND PEDI!!!!! I have ever had!!!! I love this place so much! I have been in search of my new nail home, and I have found it. First couple times it was ok, but then I got Bae and Vicky as my technicians and they are AMAZING!!!! Best shaping and polish jobs I have ever had! Kimmy is the owner and sweet as could be, always thanking me for coming in and sending friends. You really can't go wrong with this place! Incredible!!!!! read more

I absolutely love this place! I have had acrylics for years and tried many gel/shellac manicures at different places to get away from the acrylics... This is actually the first gel manicure that has ever lasted on my nails. They do such a nice job and the pricing options are great. I love that I can choose from a menu what manicure or pedicure I want. I can go in for a basic mani/pedi one week and choose a higher level one when I want to feel even more pampered. The manicure comes with a nice shoulder massage as well. I love that I can sip on some wine and completely relax. The only thing I don't love is the music... It's a fun atmosphere and idea but sometimes I just want to relax during a mani pedi and not listen to party music. Overall I never want to try another place again and can't recommend more! read more

To start off we had a 430 appointment for 3 manicures they sat us down and we started the waiting process when a lady finally was in front on me I told her I only wanted my nails filed a little bit and she didn't seem to understand I had to make her stop because they were not even lengths and it was obvious she had no clue what she was doing and that she had never been certified for it she was getting step by step instructions even down to taking off my nail polish I ended up waiting about 30 to 40 minutes for an actual nail tech to fix what this lady had done while my friend was still waiting she ended up not getting her nails done due to the fact it took almost two hours for the first two manicures I have heard good things about this place which is why we went but it was a horrible experience read more

I wish they had a star lower than one. I paid for a gift certificate and lost it. I have bank reciept and still no customer service. Never ever going there. Sad it was a Christmas present for my 13 year old daughter. read more

Will never come here again. My 14 yr old daughter went in with her friend for a full set, they rushed because it was getting close to closing time and her nails were bumpy, uneven and super thick. They were the most horrible things that I had seen. I took her back and I told them, it was unacceptable. She is a child and they took advantage of her. They offered to change the color- not ok. My 13 year old went in for a full set (gift card) they told her it would be $5 extra for a different shape other than round or square- wth? Since when? Again, it was a Sunday near close and they were very rushed. They never offered her a water or soda-yet, the other patrons all had a drink. Super unprofessional!!! I will make sure to tell everyone I know, NOT to go there! read more

Nathan did my gel mani and pedicure. Best foot and hand massage I've ever had. He was also able to give me instant relief from an in-gown toenail due to an old soccer injury and was very gentle. I took my 14 yr old daughter with me and they treated her like royalty, not like a "kid". Kimmie was great, very attentive and concerned about providing great customer service, which she and her entire staff nailed. Have to admit that I was a bit concerned after reading the Yelp reviews but another daughter (who is extremely picky) loves The Nail Bar. Truly glad I listened to her - I will definitely be back! read more

The first time I went there, they used the cheese grater thing on my foot and made it bleed. The second time, I got a rash on my leg after my pedicure. Not going back read more

A month or so ago I took 2 friends here and I knew that I would be paying quite a bit extra for going here compared to other places. The atmosphere is nice. What I did not like was that my 2 friends and I got the same exact service but we all got done at different times even though we made an appointment and we all started at the same time. I got finished first and thought I would get a nice leg massage with my pedicure but I did not and my 2 other friends seemed to have gotten decent one's. Also my nail polished chipped off after 2 weeks and I thought opi was quality nail polish. They also ask you in advance how much you want to tip on your card instead of you writing it on your credit card slip like every other place. I normally tip well but what if I did not want to tip because of the service, that would make me feel embarrassed. read more

I went to the nail bar with my daughter for a manicure, while getting our nails done neither of the employees spoke to us throughout the entire time, but they did speak to each other in a different language and seemed to laugh a lot and enjoying each other, in the meanwhile we are sitting there not understanding a word they are saying. One of the employees accidentally sprayed something from a spay bottle in her eye, after she did that she was very rough with my daughter, pulling on her hands, and still not speaking a word to her as if we were both invisible. Very poor customer service, was never offered a beverage, was not spoken to the entire time we were there except to say how much I owed them. This salon has gone downhill from the last time we were there, we will never go back. Rude staff, disengaged from their paying customers, and rough with their customers. They don't deserve even 1 star. read more

Worst nail experience ever! I made an appointment for two full sets at 4:30. Walked in at 4:30 told it would be a 20-minute wait because of walk-ins. There were two other groups that were also delayed and they were very upset. At 6 p.m. they finally sat us, and then completely ignored us for another 20 minutes. When they finally came to wait on us my technician was so rude. She kept pulling my arm, slapping my hand away from her, poking the top of my hand and pointing it to what she wanted it to do. They all laughed and chattered amongst themselves didn't even ask me what I wanted or if I was happy. My tech also spent a ton of time updating her payments on her appt sheet while working on My nails. She would literally stopped painting and start writing and then go back to painting. My nails look disgusting. I can't believe that they put acrylic nails on that are so short you can't even tell I have nails. They look like lumpy fat olives on my fingertips. My daughters look pretty but it's not the shape or color that she wanted because all of their nail polishes were dry and they didn't have her color in stock. Then when we go to pay we are told it would be $45 each. However he rang up $95. So definitely did not get a tip from me. They didn't offer any apology or discount for having to wait for an hour and a half before being seen. I am so disgusted. read more

My mom took my daughter and I here just before Halloween. My mom was getting a manicure, I was getting a pedicure, and my daughter (6) was getting polish on both but she was in the pedicure chair next to me. My daughter wanted Wonder Woman themed finger nails to match her costume. Pretty simple design: red nails, one or two blue nails, and one nail with a W. My mom showed them a picture and the lady started doing stars on my daughter's toes instead of her fingers. I told her we actually want the design on her fingers, and showed her another picture. The lady looks at it, looks at me, and just says No. She actually tried to argue with me about what color my daughter wanted her nails and was incredibly rude about the whole thing. Meanwhile I'm getting a pedicure, and my lady was barely paying attention to my feet. She didn't clip or file or scrub and the polish was sloppily applied. I left there incredibly frustrated and will not be going back. read more

Just moved up here to Windsor from San Diego county. Trying to get established here has proven to be a bit tricky. I have tried two other nail salons - one in Windsor where my cuticles were damaged - that is a huge no no with me, and one in Santa Rosa which was your typical nail salon but proved to be difficult to just make an appointment! They kept hanging up on me when I called for a second appt. Someone needs to learn how to use a phone. Their loss my win. Decided to check yelp and came across Nail Bar with excellent reviews. I figured OK give another one a try. I was more than excited when I stepped into this upscale funky salon! The atmosphere is so much fun. Kind of gives you that nightclub vibe. From the time I walked in Kimmie the owner was very accommodating to me. She made sure I got exactly what I asked for. She settled me in for my pedi and then offered me a list of drinks as part of the service - wine included! I didn't partake of the wine but will next time! Had some green tea with ginger and it was yummy! My pedi with scrub and then massage was excellent! I almost fell asleep! Finally had a waxing done - literally almost pain free with a bit of a facial massage afterwards! Thru it all Kimmie kept checking to make sure everything was going perfectly! She's probably the best nail salon owner I've seen because she is hands on and was on top of everything going on in her place of business. She made sure everyone was comfortable and that they were getting what they paid for! I had no choice but to give Nail Bar 5 stars. It was a welcomed surprise!! read more

Terrible experience. I went in to try this salon for the first time and get a gel manicure and was promptly seated by a courteous, at best, technician. Under the dark lighting I was asked to pick a color all while I was hurried through trimming, filing, a cold water soak, etc. After finally settling on one, the technician went to work. She was quick but not super worried with equal distribution of nail polish. After I finished I saw just how sloppy the hurried job looked. Nothing by my cuticles was done well. To make matters worse, as I was checking out and looking at my nails in actual light, I noticed the color was NOTHING like what it appeared in the darkened light I was forced to pick it out in. When I expressed concern with the color, the receptionist told me, they could redo it for me without a problem. Not one ever say yes to these types of things, I was encouraged to do so by both the receptionist and a friend of mine who was with me. I had an important event and wanted my nails just right so decided I would wait to get just the polish changed. After seating me, the receptionist came back out 5 minutes later and told me I'd have to pay to have the service done again. Now, I understand there would have been a minimal cost involved to correct the service, but in order to leave your customers satisfied with their experience I would assume it would be worth the cost. Unfortunately not. My friend and I will not be returning and will discourage others to do so as well. Highly disappointed. I know of no other salon who would so willingly let their customer leave that dissatisfied. read more
